"Idiot, leave my hand." Mia struggled to untie the finger knot.
With a smile, Ian tightened his grip. Their bodies were just an inch away but his hotness still quelled her emotions.
"Seems like you badly wanna hurt your third leg." Mia yelled with a scowl.
"I know you won't hurt it."
"Woah, overconfidence." She stomped on his foot but he was a rock wanting to hold her heart!
"You won't hurt our future kids. Do you?" He tightened his grip.
"Huh, shameless Idiot. Leave me right now!" Her temper deteriorated.
"You promised to stay with me. So here I am, fulfilling your vow on your behalf." He made sure to stress his last line.
With a deep sigh, Mia glowered and cleared the air,
"Look, that was all a fable. I lied. I never had feelings for you nor do I have now! So Mister Idiot, leave me right now or you gonna suffer!"
"What if you are lying? Maybe you are just hiding your feelings. You know one should never trust a fibber's words." Ian said with a sweet smile which sure served malice for Mia.
"You really want me to pierce that thick skin of yours."
She held his other hand and twisted it.
His expressions changed but not that creepy smile.
"It was just one month. Dam it, just one month. And it's been years yet you show up like this. Wasn't that letter enough for you to understand."
"You were honest so I didn't beat you before breakup but seems like I need to do it now." With that, she stiffened the twist.
The pain was inevitable and he let go of her finger.
With a smirk, she released his hand but only to realize the closeness between them. In order to twist his hand back, she had subconsciously moved her body all over him with their faces inched apart.
Taking a few steps back, she glared at him.
"If you ever cross my path that would be your last day on this earth. So stopping messing around me and court some other women. With that face of yours, anyone will fall for you."
"You too?" He smiled pressing his shoulder. Her move was sure painful but it was all worth.
"Shameless Idiot. This is will be your last warning."
And as she was about to leave, he held her hand.
Taking out the balloon which was tied to the chair, he smiled.
"At least take this as a gift."
She held the balloon in between her hands and
Plopppp
She popped it with her fingers.
With a sarcastic smile, she berated,
"Thank you."
...
President's palace.
"Did she actually do that?" Kiara asked looking at her brother.
Pressing the Ice Pack on his swollen shoulder, he nodded.
"It's just the way she greets her loved ones." He explained.
"Stop it. Just stop it, bro." Noah burst out.
"Look at that inflammation, do you really think you deserved that?"
Ian just shrugged his shoulders.
"Why would she treat men so harshly? She is a psychopath. She needs mental therapy. " Noah continued to grumble.
"Take care. Good night." Kiara patted his head and left the place.
Hugging him one last time, Charlotte said,
"Will send some meds to your room. Sleep well."
She left with the tray of compress and Ice packs.
Ian sighed and walked towards his room, completely ignoring the grumbling bear.
"Wait, what? Why do you guys are so mean? I am just worried about you. She is not a match for you not for any man on this world."
Even the maids ignored him and continued their work.
It was just the pillars and walls which were heeding his brawl.
...
Brown Mansion.
"It's not you Mervin. Why don't you understand? I never loved you. So please stop acting like my boyfriend."
"I never asked you to love me back? Did I?" Mervin sighed.
"Just stop caring about me and the things in which I am involved."
"You are my responsibility, Elisa. Uncle and Aunty asked me to do this."
"I know. But it's not at all required. I can take care of myself. Even though they are dead, they are still with me and it's wasn't necessary to rub salts on my wounds by mentioning them."
"Why do you have to misunderstand everything? I never meant, "
"Arghhhhhhhhh. JUST STOP IT." Mia's voice echoed the whole mansion.
She was watching them for more than ten minutes and their tragic love story was pissing her off.
They both looked at the entrance and Mia was standing there with ears closed and eyes shut.
Silence prevailed and she opened her eyes.
"Just move on bro. She doesn't like you and you should stop irritating her and also us."
Then pointing her finger towards Elisa, she reprimanded,
"If you really don't love him then stop caring about his things. About his health, about his work and everything else."
"Your reason for being a middle-class girl and having no one as your kins to support you is just bullshit. When you love someone you need to love them from your heart and not from your status and complexions."
"If you really feel you don't deserve him then I am sorry to say this we don't deserve you too. He never meant to bring that accident nor your parent's death."
"We love you as Elisa and not as our tutor's daughter or as a Detective. If you really think all these bullshit status, family, wealth, looks, matters then you are free to have beliefs in them. It's just that I feel pity for him and his 6 dam years on you!"
And with that, she walked towards her room.
...
An hour later.
She continued staring at the stars hugging her pillow.
The roof was specially designed transparent and the bright moonlight wrapped her huge room with a weird warmth.
She was a Uranophile and loved to stare at the dark sky, stars and moon. All their mansions throughout the country had this special room for her with a transparent roof.
In the morning it would just be covered with a sheet and everything would again look like a normal room.
The small lanterns hanging on the roof added more light to the room making it more like a fantasy world.
Marvin entered the room and lied beside her.
"So it was bizarre."
She nodded.
"He was good." He added his opinion.
"He is one of my EX." Mia adjusted her head on his hand.
Marvin was surprised. He knew the guy and somewhere he was satisfied too but it was unusual to hear that he was her ex.
"Where did you meet him?"
Snuggling a bit, she looked at the moon.
"Remember when I was 19. I was forced to hide as few clans were behind my life."
"You mean that Island?" Mervin caressed her creased brows.
"Yes. And that secret show, "
"The one arranged every year jut for elites of the renowned families?" He questioned.
She nodded and with a deep sigh,
"We met there and I ditched him in the middle of the show."
Mervin was baffled. He was totally dumbstruck as he never excepted things to turn out.
