Chereads / Lukz Death / Chapter 17 - Chapter 18: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Chapter 17 - Chapter 18: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Sweeping through a desolate forest, Lukz's car flies over a series of lumps and bumps within a lightless road, only his multi coloured headlights gleam throughout the grasslands, Lukz turns to Kevin, "So, what exactly are you looking for?" He asks, intently.

Kevin stays glued to his seat, firmly gripping its sides, "well, if any of these files say how we can actually get into your mind, I guess that would be a start?"

"Is that it!", Aimee blurts out, twisting around.

Kevin looks down, "yeah, these things are obviously coming from Lukz's mind. So, if any of these people had a way for Lukz to get inside his own head, but in a state where he can actually control the situation, or dream, then maybe, just maybe, he can find what's causing all these demons to come alive?!"

Lukz smirks, with his eye's glued to the opaque road ahead, "Hmm, I guess that makes sense; I wonder if one of those inception machines has been invented!? I would just hunt these things down with a minigun and shred them all to pieces!!" he says, grinning from ear to ear, imagining himself shooting a minigun, screaming with happiness!

"MWHAHAHAHHAHA!" He chants out.

"Lukz! Focus on the road!", Kevin shouts, slapping the back of his head. "Anyway, I wish it was that easy? However, if we can use the same principle's as the movie, we may have a chance?" Kevin says, very uncertain.

Lukz continues driving at a blistering speed, hurtling into a more built up area. He screams past a cluster of houses, all neatly placed within their comforting surroundings.

"Right, Christchurch Poe poe station is just around the corner, I'm going to stop here as I'm not exactly welcome inside?!" Lukz replies, agitated.

"Okay, so now what do you propose we do? It's late, plus we can't just go in through the front door, demanding to see dead people's personal files?!" Aimee says abruptly.

Lukz and Kevin turn sharply towards her!

"What? We can't just go in and ask to search through your dads' files?" Kevin replies, angrily.

"Ha, of course not! He was a Senior Officer? You can't just expect his long-forgotten daughter to have access to concealed murder files?" She replies, bluntly.

"Ah, so you're expecting us to break into a police station?" Lukz says, grinning at her.

"I guess so?" She replies, cringing with uncertainty.

They stare gormlessly at one another, until Kevin springs to life, clicking his fingers, "Right, I have an idea.", he says, huddling them all together. "All we need is some passes to access the vehicle gate. Then, we can enter on foot, dodge the camera's, slip through a secret fire exit I know about, go to Don's office, grab his laptop and sneak out without anyone knowing we was even here?" he says confidently.

*clap, clap, clap*,

"Full proof plan bro... however, how do we for one, get the passes, two, slip in without the camera's catching us, or three, do all this without setting off the alarm when you go through the fire exit! Full proof." Lukz replies, smirking a sarcastic grin towards him.

"Ow, don't you worry; I've got an idea... using these." Kevin gingerly pulls out a big wad of dynamite from a pouch attached to the back of Aimee's seat.

"Holy shit! Is that why you didn't want to sit in the back!!", Aimee screams out!

"SHHHHH, let Kevin speak. I like where this is going.", Lukz says, placing his hand over Aimee's mouth.

Kevin Nods, "Right, here's what were gonna do.", he leans forward, whispering to them both.

A small breeze tugs slightly on a pair of heavy-duty steel doors, causing them to minutely flap open, as they hang beneath a large illuminated entrance sign, stating;

Christchurch Police Station.

Inside, two officers dawdle either side of the door, barely able to stay awake, yawning consistently,

"What you going to do after tonight's shift, Al", A gangly officer asks his more broad and stumpy acquaintance.

"Ahh, I dunno, probably just go home and watch TV? Such a great life. Stand by a door for a living, then sit on a sofa for the rest of it?". He replies, unamused.

The tall officer smiles painfully, "Yeah, I know what you mean? There is just no excitement anymore? So much paperwork. I miss the chase!" He replies, agitated, until, *SMASH!*. Both doors' suddenly fling open, followed by Lukz bounding inside, completely naked while twizzling a bottle of half empty rum in between his hands!

"WAZ UP PIGGIEEESS!!" He wails out, turning face on towards the stunned officers, "You'll ave to excuze me, It's nor-mally b-bigger than this, b-b-butt it's vewy, vewy, cooooold outside." He slurs out in a drunken state.

"What the F**K!", The gangly officer harshly shouts.

Lukz struts towards him while swinging his privates around, taking a big gulp of rum! He glances towards the officer's chests, noticing their access passes dangling in front of it. The Tall officer launches himself forward, grappling his hands towards Lukz,

"You're mine!" He calls out, but Lukz fluently tumbles underneath his body, yanking off his access pass, followed by twirling around some more, catching the stumpy guards pass with his foot. The Lanky officer fumbles towards the ground, quickly catching himself in a press up position.

"GET HIM!" He growls towards the stunned stumpy office. Lukz immediately skips out the door, shouting, "OINK, OINK, OINK", with every leap. The Stumpy officer stays completely still, until his companion charges, yanking him out the door as they storm towards a merry Lukz.

"Oi, get back here you little shit!" The short officer shouts out, awakening from his daze!

Lukz suddenly stops, turning towards them, "Com-e on, *burp*, IT'S FREE-EEZING out here!" He calls back.

They both hunt him down, as Lukz spins around gulping another chug of rum, followed by playfully skipping towards a large police van which is half covered by a tall tree's shadow.

The officers fly over to him, jumping into the darkness, "GOT YOU!" the tall one calls out, Lunging forwards! Lukz dives to his side, causing the officer to glide straight past him, tumbling behind the van! Immediately followed, the stout officer tackles Lukz down, forcing him against the floor!

"Ha! Got you, punk." He says, clambering onto Lukz's naked body.

Amiee's voice whispers from behind him, "No you aint.", *smack*. She whacks the back of his head, knocking him completely unconscious.

Lukz shuffles from underneath his lumpy body, "Thanks babes. Told you that would work." He adds, confidently.

Aimee tosses his clothes at him while shaking her head, "You really didn't have to get plastered and naked? Did you?" She asks, unamused. Lukz frowns, draping his fur jacket around his shoulders, "Come on, you love it. Maybe you should steal his hand cuffs, so we can use them later." he replies, winking his alluring blue eye.

She rolls hers, "For god sake Lukz! Why did you actually have to get drunk! You're always such a perv when you get like this!" She says, stripping the officer's clothes off his static body.

"Cooome on... you can't tell mee you don't like what you seeeee." Lukz slurs, dropping the rest of his clothes, exposing his naked body.

She glances towards his chiselled features, *Tut*, "Not bad, but you're not my type." She says, dragging the officer around while yanking his trousers off.

"Come on tiny Tim, you're not done yet." Kevin gloats, yanking Lukz's arm.

Lukz turns towards him, when his eye's burst open, "AHHAHAH, you look like a bloody stripper in that uniform." He replies, hysterically!

Kevin frowns, "Shut up, you mongrel. Go put some clothes on, you maggot aint looking to happy." He replies, angrily.

"Well, I think he looks quite hot.", Aimee replies, appearing from a shadow, both Lukz and Kevin's jaws drop, as Aimee's spectacular figure stands clasped in a tightly fitted officers' uniform. Wrapping perfectly around her large, juicy breasts, exposing the midline of her hourglass figure, bulging with a pair of thick ass cheeks, pressed into the tight blue nylon trousers.

"Wow. Tha, Tha, Tha, Tha.", Kevin replies, drooling onto Lukz's neck.

Lukz spins his head towards him, "EWWWW, stop drooling on me man", he says, shoving him away.

Kevin snaps his gloomy eyes back towards Lukz, "Whaaa?" he replies.

Aimee marches forward, gently tapping Kevin's face, "Kevin, are you alright?", she asks.

He snaps out of his daze, "Ow, yeah yeah. Your fine. wait no. I'm fine. But, of course, you look fine." *Thwack*, Lukz backhands his head, causing him to flinch in pain.

"Ouch, man!" He shouts.

"For god sake! Aimee, you look fit! I mean, wow! Can we carry on now?" Lukz says bluntly.

Kevin scowls at him, "Fine."

Aimee smiles, "Hehe, thanks. So, what's next?" she asks.

"Okay, we need to grab the tools. Lukz, you will probably need about, 2 sticks, max?" He replies, focused.

"Five?" Lukz replies, excitedly.

"What, NO! Two! You do remember what you have to do? Don't you?" Kevin says, Glaring at him.

"Yeah, yeah, wait until the gate is open enough for you to get through, then BOOM! lights out baby." Lukz replies, jumping with joy.

Kevin and Aimee both turn away from Lukz's jiggling body parts, "Yes! But only do it on my phone call, as if you blow it too early, the gate will automatically close and there won't be enough time to climb it! As we have to get in through the fire exit before the backup generator kicks in!"

Lukz stops jumping, "Don't worry, you can count on me, boss man.", he replies, running over to his car, grabbing the rest of his clothes.

Aimee watches Lukz bound away, gently shaking her head, "I really don't understand how you put up with him? He's twenty-three and acts like he's five?", She says, aggravated

"Ahhh, that's Lukz. I actually wouldn't have him any other way." Kevin says, smiling with a brief hint of happiness.

Aimee continues shaking her head, then firmly grabs Kevin's hand, "Come on, let's get what we need and head towards the gate!"

Kevin nods, striding over to Lukz's car's boot.

"God, I hope he doesn't blow himself up?" Aimee whispers to herself.

Kevin Slams the boot, briefly peering inside the car to see Lukz fumbling about his back seat, putting his clothes on.

"Okay, everything is in my backpack. He is actually getting ready, so let's go." Kevin says, turning towards Aimee, as a glint of moonlight dazzles over her rosy gold complexion, while her fiery ginger locks sway in the evening breeze.

"Yep, Let's go." She replies, determined.

Aimee and Kevin immediately dart into a path of surrounding car's, jumping from one to another, making sure they keep within the shadows which loom over head. They dance left and right, moving each time a faint noise blurts out in the distance, covering up each individual footstep. A subtle breeze manoeuvres a large tree, casting a thick shadow between them and a poorly lit side of the police station. Kevin and Aimee glide straight through it, forcing themselves up against its slightly frosted surface.

"Wow Kevin, how on earth did you get so good at being stealthy?" Aimee whispers, shocked.

"Ermm, I guess it has to do with when I was younger? Lukz and I had no money for food when we were on the streets, so we stole it. He would normally distract the person or people working, while I grabbed everything I could?", he replies, ashamed.

"Ha, well you can't say that it hasn't come in handy. Look." Aimee points behind him, "there's the gate?" she adds, slightly frightened.

Kevin quickly turns, noticing a large silver rolling gate, with a small black box planted directly next to it.

"SH*T!" he says, harshly!

"What? What's wrong?" Aimee asks, panicked.

"The access card box must be nearly 20 meters away. Plus, I've barely got one bar of signal? I think the closer we get, the more it blocks my phone? Dahm it!!" Kevin says, panting heavier and heavier.

"Hey, hey, calm down." Aimee says, firmly grabbing his shoulders, "Look, I will go to the gate. As soon as it opens enough, I will wedge that metal pole into its floor roller, hopefully giving you enough time to call Lukz from here and run through before it shuts? Okay?" She replies, pointing towards a disused scaffold pole behind the gate.

"Ahh, I'm not really much of a sprinter? That's more Lukz?" Kevin replies, timidly.

"Ow man up! You have to help a moron fight demons for a living? You really think he could do that on his own? You're the one with the balls, you can't even harm those things, yet you still run in to help, every single time! Have some confidence in yourself!" Aimee says proudly, pressing her body up against his.

Kevin calms his erratic breathing, then replies. "Okay, but remember, we don't want the gate to open too much? Just enough to let us slip through, so any guards watching the cctv hopefully won't even notice?", he says, grabbing Aimee's hand. "Please be careful.", he adds, sincerely.

She gazes up at him with her glowing eyes, "Don't worry, I got this."

Quickly bounding down a side wall, she keeps low, crouching below any beams or flickers of light. She delicately prances around, darting from dark spot to dark spot when suddenly, she falls flat on the floor! Laying directly centre of the gate, she pauses for a moment, slowly shuffling her hand beside her. Kevin leans forward in anticipation, almost exposing himself to an opaque moonlight as it drifts around the corner he perches behind.

"what's wrong, why has she stopped?!!" He whispers to himself as a *ting*, rings out right above the access card point. Kevin squints his eyes, noticing a miniscule sensor hanging directly above the card swiper.

"Bloody hell! A motion detector! How did she spot that! Plus, hit it with a stone?! This girl is seriously good!!" He says, smiling intensely.

Aimee instantly bounds back to her feet, leaps over to the access point, then begins slowly waving over to Kevin, followed by sticking her thumb up.

Kevin holds his right hand out flat, telling her to wait, as he clicks onto his phone screen. Turning it on, he scrolls down to a name written, "Di*k Head", along with pressing call. Placing it against his ear it begins to ring, Kevin immediately turns his flat hand to a thumbs up! Aimee swipes her card, causing the gate to instantly unbolt itself, followed by a clanking chain which pulls it up! *Ring ring, ring ring* calls out in Kevin's ear as everything else suddenly falls flat, only a smoky mist travels from Kevin's mouth as he breathes deeper and deeper with anticipation,

"Anyone could come outside at any minute, searching for those two doormen? Why is he not picking up!" Kevin frustratedly whispers to himself. A gentle motion of cogs slowly rotating ticks repetitively, counting down each crucial second when out of nowhere, a blaring ringtone howls in the distance!

"Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding,

I wonder if you know,

How they live in Tokyo,

If you seen it then you mean it

Then you know you have to go."

Kevin cringes in anger! "For F**k sake Lukz! Couldn't you have at least put your phone on silen....."

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!*.

A gargantuan explosion decimates a row of electrical pylons! Sending sparks dazzling into the nights sky, creating an array of colours to lift into the dim lit night! Kevin launches backwards, stunned by the almighty blast, he quickly peers around the corner to see no lights emitting from the Police Stations entrance.

"KEVIN, QUICK!", Aimee shouts in the background, when a flood of people suddenly poor out of the station, all wearing colour matching grey jumpsuits with little numbers stamped onto their chests. Blaring out in anger and rageful cries, "FREEEEDOOOOM!!", they all howl at the top of their lungs!

"Ho-ly shit! I think that blast opened the cells!" Kevin says, staring in oar!

"KEVIN!! COME ON!!" Aimee screams out!

He quickly turns to see her ramming the large metal pole deep in the gates floor rollers!

His eyes blare open as she struggles to keep it secure! He immediately sprits towards her, shouting out, "Hold it for just another second!"

"I can't!" She yells back! Suddenly, the bar snaps loose, causing the gate to start rapidly sliding shut, Aimee quickly jump's through, narrowly missing having her ankle crushed!

*CLICK, CLICK*, It locks tight! She quickly looks around to see no sign of Kevin. A thick darkness clouds her vision, when two hands firmly grab her shoulders, followed by a deep monotone voice,

"Excuse me miss.", it asks. She grapples one of his arms, while spinning her body around the floor, clattering her legs against his, sending him soaring upwards!

She jumps on top of the body while pressing a snapped piece of the pole up against the man's throat.

"Woh, woh, Aimee. It's just me", Kevin's wispy voice sounds out.

"Ow My God!" She says, releasing her grasp away from his throat!

"What the hell, Kevin!" She says, playfully slapping him, "I didn't see you get through? I thought you got crushed or trapped!" she adds, confused.

Kevin lifts himself onto his elbows, "No, I'm fine. But your knee is definitely crushing something!", he says, weeping.

"Ow, sorry.", She replies, pulling them both up off the floor.

"That move was sick! Who taught you that?" Kevin asks, amazed.

"Ermm, my dad? But come on, we haven't got long.", She says, grabbing his hand, yanking him with her.

"Ahh, see. I knew he spent more time with you then you let on?" Kevin says excitedly.

"Ow, give it a rest! Let's do what we came here to do, then reminisce!" She says, annoyed.

"Fine, fine. Now, I know this part like the back of my hand. Lukz and I were here all the time as kids." He says, jokingly.

"Owwww, that makes sense", Aimee replies, convinced.

"What? What makes sense?" He asks, confused.

"The fact you knew the gate would close once the power was off?" She says, frowning towards him.

He scrunches his face, "Yeaah. We were here quite a lot. It's not something I'm proud of but, a warm room is better than an ally way!"

Aimee pulls a warming smile towards him as they both dash towards a narrowing entrance point, labelled; authorized vehicles only. Gliding past the sign, they scurry through its narrowing straight, staying within the shadows. Slipping around another corner, they open out onto a large carpark, filled with a variety of vehicles. Kevin slows them down, stopping next to a large shadowed indent within a wall. He turns to Aimee, pointing behind her, "When your dad used to bring us here, I always noticed this door."

Aimee turns, noticing a small fire exit sign faintly glowing above its edges. She narrows her eyes to scan around its large black outline, "Right, the hinges are on the right, so we need to wedge a crowbar about one meter up from the floor, on its left. That should release the latch from inside?" She says, confidently.

Kevin slowly turns his eyes towards her, "how do you know that?" he asks, confused.

"Ow, it's basic carpentry knowledge? Will you just hurry up? We can't have long before the back-up generator turns on?" she adds, concerned.

"Actually, I have no idea? I was just thinking of possibilities. I'm still a little shocked that the gate closed without any electricity. I just do all the thinking because Lukz is denser than a bloody dead dodo?" He says, swinging his backpack off, pulling a small crowbar out.

"HA, I couldn't agree more! I wonder if he actually did blow himself up?" She says, timidly.

"Naa, he'll be fine. That guy has literally, fallen off a five-story high building with a blemin raptor demon thing wrapped around his head, instantly stood back up after clattering into a bush, then lit his own fart of fire to kill it? A few bits of dynamite are child's play for him?"

*click*, Kevin turns, pulling a smug gin as the door gently swings open.

Aimee scowls at him, "why you smiling? I was the one who told you how to open it?" she says, annoyed.

"Ermm, I guess so?" Kevin quietly replies.

They both enter cautiously; Kevin gently closes the door behind them, completely blacking out a narrow hallway.

"Right, it's all you now. Where do we need to go?", Kevin whispers.

"We need to head to the third floor, that's where my dad's office is?" She replies.

"Okay, open your phone and use it's torch, I can't see a thing?" Kevin adds.

They both switch on their phone lights, hovering their hands over its lense. A desolate row of first floor offices appears before them, all being completely evacuated, trashed with paper and documents scattered everywhere.

Aimee turns towards Kevin with a confused look. "I don't understand. Why is so.. messy?" Aimee asks, shocked.

Kevin cringes his face, "Well.. I think this place got evacuated after Lukz blew up the electrical pylon. I forgot to mention it after all that commotion with the gate nearly locking me out?" he replies, pouting towards her.

Aimee glares back, "What?!" She replies, annoyed.

"Well, because that idiot used a bit too much dynamite, he may have caused a slight EMP. Completely frying the police stations electrics thus, maybe causing all the jail cells to open and release the prisoners?" Kevin says, cringing with guilt.

Aimee's mouth falls wide open, "HOLY SHIT! We better be quick! Escaped convicts and pyrotechnics! You and Lukz could go to prison for life, for assisting an escape?!" She screams at him!

"Sh*t, your right? I didn't think about that?! What if they have already got him?" Kevin replies, pulling a worried expression.

Aimee shakes her head, "Would you quit worrying! If we don't get this info, then we're all probably going to die anyway! So, can we please go upstairs!". Aimee blurts out, intensely staring at him.

Kevin Nods, "Yeah, okay. Let's go.", they both dash off down the abandoned hallway, only a flicker of light from their phones travels along, then up a narrow set of cubicles.
