The armored guard tightly pierced my wrist and pulled me up the ground. My body rammed to his, and losing balance, I nearly fell until he clasped my hand and restrained it with white, thick, ropes.
"Careful with her," said Logan. "You see she's injured."
The armored guard leaped into his defense. "As were a thousand when this douche roamed."
Emma approached me and tipped her hat.
"You've finally caught your fish," I told them. "You're not going to imprison my Pokemon aren't you?"
"No, no. Don't worry about them. They'll be sent to adoption centers."
"And where do I go?"
"The Kalos Yard,"
"Then?"
"Your trial--"
"Then?"
"The verdict and judge's--"
"Will I be hanged for execution?"
"Most likely. You do realize you're a serial killer."
I frowned and let myself be taken into their helicopter without forcing to fight or escape my restraints. I knew Valery would come back for me as she kept her promise when I rescued her and after this, she'll be out of her debt.
The helicopter left the island and went for a straight course for Unova. Emma and the armored guard drove the vehicle whilst Logan and Dawn watched me with a weather eye at the back.
"You owe me an apology," said Dawn. "And Logan. You could've poisoned us."
"I'm sorry," I said plainly.
Logan kept himself timid.
"You're notoriety ends here," she added.
"I do not think so. Imprison me and I will be rescued, kill me, and you'll end up sparking a revolution. Either way, I am on the upper hand. If I do, however, die. I hope you remember who saved your region, Hoenn, and Johto."
Dawn left in rage.
"You're not going with her?" I said to Logan.
"Just making sure you brought no funny business with you."
"Will you let me out if I asked you?"
"No! L-like what Dawn said, we've paid debts and no more. I'm a trainer--"
"Oh, trainer. Trainers are always the heroes aren't they? You see them in the league with their so-tough Pokemon. People like me? Good deeds doesn't matter. You kill someone, you're an enemy no matter what. You know I'm correct, Logan."
"I guess an execution is too harsh. I'll agree with you on that."
"Please let me free," I said. "Even though I'm dead, I don't have your precious glass so basically, Team Rocket still wins. Worse, not that I'm boasting, but I've got my friends wanting revenge if ever the Bureau does so."
"Team Rocket's weak nowadays. They don't have any presence no longer."
"And what do you call me?"
"The whole of it. If you look everywhere, Team Rocket's hiding. I wonder why."
"We're only asleep. And you don't want to wake us up."
"I'm sorry, Luna. There's nothing I can do. I must do what's right and follow my integrity."
"That will bring yourself nowhere. If I'm free, I can get you out too from being shamed."
He began whispering. "This the bureau we're talking about. We cannot win against them."
"Not if we outsmart them."
"Oh, Luna. Always thinking you know best."
"I do take pride on myself sometimes." I displayed a smug smile.
