The prison cells were not by bars, rather, they were glass. These glass are tough for any prisoner to break, even the toughies. Emma who managed to protect her title for a whole year has now entered the second.
She watched Jenny from outside like a scientist observing a Pokemon. Jenny didn't show any signs of movements. She was a statue but she bore in mind someone was watching her. For an hour and a half of staring, her neck jolted.
"You finally decided to move," Emma giggled.
"Why are you here? Haven't I told you my motive in my first interrogation?"
"Yes. Getting Victini to end all evil and blab blab blab. I want more answers from you. What led you to coming up with this?"
"My friend."
"Wow. Er… I thought you were going to play the hard game. Not, not that it's bad, wise choice by the way."
"You don't act like a chief inspector."
"Maybe because I'm young?"
She shrugged.
"Your friend, let me guess, Luna Evergreen?"
"Biased officers! How come you arrest me who murdered for a purpose, why not that Luna?" Jenny banged the glass.
"We're finding her. It's called a treaty by the way."
Jenny sat back to her sit.
"Why are you and Luna fighting?"
"My sister Courtney."
"Team Magma. Luna killed her?"
Jenny nodded.
"You're suspicious. Why are you being honest?"
"What's suspicious about that?"
"Nothing. Guess I've been reading too much whodunit very often."
"Tell me, chief inspector. If you find my friend, will she end up like me? Now that I assume your treaty has ended."
"Oh no. Of course not. Her punishment isn't like yours. Since she's er… Extreme, yeah let's just call it that. She has to be executed. Hanged."
Jenny froze. "Willful murder?"
"Yuppy yup! Wow, you memorize those laws?"
"I happen to be an officer too before."
"Oh right. Before being hanged. She will be presented to a court and all that stuff. You, officer, is a lucky ducky."
"And about Team Rocket?"
"They're whereabouts are unknown. I've only encountered their grunts."
"I could help you."
"No. You're a culprit. GASP! Now I know why you're being honest! You wanna earn my trust!"
Jenny chuckled.
"No. I'm sorry. I won't agree to this!"
"Suit yourself. I know a lot about Luna than you."
"Oh my. You have a point."
"So, it's a treaty?"
"I'll think about it," Emma murmured with mixed feelings.
She stood and left Jenny, on her way to the telephone booth to alert Looker.
