Gigalith rampaged at Caitlin's Musharna, Mugcargo challenged Shauntal, a group of Gengar scared the living daylight out of Throh, Conkeldurr, and Mienshao. Shauntal's Golurk was a rocket flying around and hitting armies with its gun like arms except the bullets were its hands.
Grimsley and Bisharp were bowling through the grunts at the stairs as did Alder and Iris did at the others. It was madness, like a group of red and black ants fighting in a piece of molded bread. The six of the seven sages were mere lookers, silent observers of the battlefield.
"They're too many!" Iris perspired heavily.
"Same situation with the trainers. They can't handle them at once!" Alder alerted.
"Busy with the left wing over here! Guillotine go!"
"Golurk, keep your eyes steady, help the trainers out!"
"Shauntal's Golurk won't do enough. Throh, leave the Gengars to Mienshao and Conkeldur."
Two Liepards leapt. Iris was completely unaware. She only sensed them incoming after shadows loomed over her to combine as one. She sealed her eyes in fret. Druddigon who saw everything was earnest to rescue her but was far away from her trainer.
Expecting pain, the earth beneath Iris shook. A driller surfaced and drilled away both Liepards. Iris turned to the skies, mesmerized at the Pokemon who saved her. It clinched everyone's mouth for a second.
Another surprise was in for the soon to be dragon master. There were footsteps from her left.
"Not bad at all, little lady," teased Clay, patting her back with one foot over a rock.
"You! Your Driftveil's--"
"Crush him!" Giallo interrupted Zinzolin.
"Hmm," he loosened his tight tendons. "You know, it ain't just me."
A Stoutland bounded at a Krookorok at Iris's nine. "So sorry. We all decided to stop by," Lenora grinned.
Zebstrika slammed into the Pokemons' assaulting the trainers. Riding on top of it was her trainer, Elesa. "Ignoring Team Plasma? Don't you know that would be a terrible thing for us gym leaders to do?"
Burgh and his Leavanny slashed through the Gengars.
"You see, we must do everything that we can for the sake of each and every Pokemon as well."
The star, Brycen didn't give a crap about "Pokemon Battling". He went straight on with the grunts and used his fists as his "moveset". He whammed the guts of the grunts coming from the black path while his Beartic handled those parralel to his, even lifting a Gigalith's head and throwing it away.
A squeal from the skies interrupted. It was Swanna, destroying the grunts' Pokemon in the ground through its powerful air strikes. Standing on the rooftop of the arena was Skyla, her hair flapping to the direction of the wind.
Her Swanna landed beside her. "Unova's skies will be safe with me!"
Two Whirlpedes charged for Drayden. The dragon leader was confident, arms on top of the other. Without commanding his Haxorus, it took the lead and flapped away its tail.
"I can certainly empathize with some of what you say. But I cannot ever forgive the way you reject everything else!" Drayden declared.
The gym leaders were behind the elite four, behind them were the trainers, and in front of them all, forming one triangle, was their champion, Alder.
"Unova will not listen to your acts! We stand united!"
"Destroy every single one of them!" ordered Zinzolin.
