Chapter 506 - LOG 65: To Dragonspiral!

On our way to Western Unova, I was presented with the intricate details of the mission. Charlotte explained it to me thoroughly, and it's got something to do with Team Rocket planning to finish off Team Plasma for good.

Professor Olive was also inside. She presented to us, me for the first time, my friends, the second, a holographic projection of what to do since I didn't get any of what Charlotte just told me. Aside from that, Volcarona and Mawile are currently sleeping beside me, outside their Pokeballs. They deserve that after I forgot them outside the window.

"Madam Boss figured that it was the perfect opportunity to take control over Team Plasma. Their king, N, or more familiarly known as Natural Harmonia Gropius, was last spotted on his way to Dragonspiral Tower alongside a few more of his grunts."

A footage of him appeared, walking down the isle of a forest with his sisters and members. I've noticed he had a familiar necklace. A similar stone to my black one, except his was white.

"Zekrom isn't the only big dragon guy, right? There's still—"

"Yes. Reshiram. Reshiram's known to represent truth. We have a hunch that he's trying to summon Reshiram, so mom told me to bring your stone. She seemed to be forced by Madam Boss. Well, she even said this would be a big mess for both organizations," said Alice.

"But the reason why the heroes clashed before is different to now, if, if, that's what we're all assuming, two dragons going to end it all, which, I don't believe would happen, so the effects might—"

"What do you mean you don't believe would happen?" interrupted Virgo, asking me.

"I believe Zekrom exists, but I don't think it'll follow me and will be summoned at the behest of my commands."

"If Reshiram listens to Team Plasma, it'd surely do to Team Rocket as well," assured Zeal.

"Anyway, back to the details. Madam Boss is using the whole Unova Team Rocket branch to stop them down. Don't worry, our reserves are safe at headquarters, so if anything goes wrong, rebuilding won't be difficult. At best, we must capture their king, N, and so, like that, their organization falls—"

"That doesn't work like that," I objected.

"Huh, what happened to take down the king and pawn thingy? Change of ideals?" teased Virgo.

"No, no! You don't get it. N's a puppet. Ye know, a puppet president who follows the orders from the real with the belief he's king."

"How does a king not know that he's taking orders from someone else?" asked Charlotte.

"Isn't that the point of psychology? Lies? Once you get you're victim into your mind, he won't be aware of his actions. I've read a book once, about knights. Ever heard of them? The freemasons, the er… The kingdoms of Europe? They have some sort of pope."

"Oh yeah, yeah, I know that," Virgo said.

"N's being controlled by Ghetsis who acts as the pope of Team Plasma. So, if we take down the king, either another one will rise or the pope appoints a new one, like in history," I added.

"Clever, clever. Then we must capture Ghetsis instead?" asked Professor Olive.

"No, both. Capture one, the other will take revenge. Capture two, their army will do their best to claim their leaders, but without them, they fall weak," I suggested.

"Finally, someone thought of going to the library," said Charlotte.

"No, I just found it in the Infographics Show. They've got these super cool facts about history! It's less boring than reading an intimidating big book."

I recollected something in my mind. "Wait. If we split Team Plasma into two, and let them fight… Wouldn't that be awesome?"

"Split Team Plasma? How are you going to do that?"

"Their king and pope against each other. I know more than N who isn't aware of his father's, wait, I don't even think Ghetsis is his father, orders. He doesn't want liberation, he was domination, over Unova! That's ours for the taking, not theirs, so If they're monkeys attacking themselves, well, Team Rocket's got a whole lot of time to take over."

"I'll tell this to Madam Boss, but for the mean time, to Dragonspiral!" said Professor Olive with enthusiasm.

"Well, well, now that's a bunch of happy rockets," teased Xeryll.
