Early in the morning I decided to go by the halls since once again, no mission was assigned to us. Perhaps it was because of the new implemented schedule that made me bored just by staying here in headquarters. Nevertheless, there were still times in which I could spend moments with my friends due to the lack of mission.
Now that everyone is busy, I am forced to walk around the halls of our headquarters only to see Alice sitting by a bench, cuddling her Keckleon. They seem to be talking to each other and since she's timid, I thought it would be great if me and her were to hang out while the rest were busy.
Oliver's feeding his Pokemon, Zeal is bathing her's, Virgo is busy with the marble, I handed it to her momentarily, while Charlotte isn't on the mood to the battle me right now. Then came Alice on my sight. The more the merrier like they say! A new one to be added to my friend collections.
"Hey!" I surprised her exuberantly. Startled, she jerked and turned herself invisible.
"I guess I did too much, don't you think?" I talked to the air. "Come on, show yourself."
Seeing the air "shiver" I touched it, not knowing it was her... Anyway, she turned back to a visible state by unintentionally touching "it".
"Y-you're that woman from the news! The killer!"
"What?! Me? Come on, a lot of people do the same stuff as me, not just me!"
"B-but, yours is homicide." she replied, her body shivering while cuddling Keckleon.
"Humph, that's not true. Anyway I'm-"
"Bored." she interfered.
"Yes, so, maybe we could-"
"I'm awkward in public." she interfered again.
"Wow, okay. This is going to be harder than I thought. Why not we just stay here and hang out in the cafeteria?" I suggested.
"Full. Just ate." she replied.
"Then I guess, we'll have it your way. What do you do for run around here?"
"I- I don't know. Never really wanted fun in the first place. I- I want to catch a Pokemon known as Munchlax. Perhaps you've--"
"Great! I know where to catch out." my turn to intervene, pulling her hand and running off like the wind outside our headquarters. I'm an expert when it comes to finding Pokemon. I've done it before and I'll do it again! I mean come on, Munchlax is an easy Pokemon to find, plus, it's better than staying in the boring hellhole.
Off to the proper of Castelia City, the grandest metropolis in all of Unova, I researched some facts about the said Pokemon. It is a hyperactive Pokémon. It does not mind walking and running from place to place as it looks for food, but it is usually very slow moving. Munchlax tends to store food in its long fur, although it sometimes forgets about its hidden food. Its stomach allows it to eat nearly anything, even rotten food, and is indifferent to flavor. It can also eat many servings of food at a time without chewing, and rarely gets full. It eats the most food of any Pokémon besides its evolution, Snorlax.
"H! Hey! Where are you dragging me?!" Alice asked, turning invisible.
"W-wait! Don't turn invisible now." one of the streets, I halted. "People would think I'm crazy!" looking around, many witnessed my chattering with the air. Now I'm a fool to everyone's face.
"Ah, forget it." said I, continuing to drag her to the central plaza of Castelia City. If I'm not mistaken, there's a large tree with a "hive" of Munchlax living there.
The tree was old but its barks were sturdy. Its leaves were gold and around the three were trainers who splashed honey. I remember that good ole days in Sinnoh when I tried to catch a Munchlax but miserably failed after forgetting to buy honey! Guess what? I forgot to buy honey again! At least here in the plaza we could rent some.
"Okay! We're going to make this nice and simple."
She turned herself to a visible state. "How can I trust you? What if you run away?"
"What? Stop overthinking. I'm an expert when it comes to finding Pokemon. Trust me. All we have to do is to make a little swoosh." said I, while painting the bark with honey.
"Now that's complete, all we have to do is to wait for a moment!" I added. We both stared at the bark for more than an hour, and it seemed like nothing special was happening. Then came a berry that fell, alongside it was a clumsy Munchlax as expected. This brought delight to her face while she ought to capture it and not letting this moment go away.
The Munchlax was attracted by the honey, licking it with its tongue and that's when my exuberance pushed Alice to battle it! I pushed her and cheered for her to capture the Pokemon.
"Ah?! Me? Battle it?! I may be an agent but I only serve water! The previous mission was by luck."
"Wait what? You don't know how to battle?!"
"I know, but I'm too timid to battle it. Look at its cute face, I don't want to ruin it." said she, tapping her fingers together.
"You won't ruin it! Ah, believe in yourself! Go command Keckleon some moves." I pushed her again.
"R-right! Alright Keckleon, use Shadow Claw!"
"I guess I'll never capture it."
"What?! Come on! You can't give up that easily!"
"R-right! Let's try again Kecleon! Use Synchronoise!"
"Okay, now throw the Pokeball!"
She threw it.
Once the Munchlax entered the ball, the timer began to tick. The ball shook once... The ball shook twice... Shoot! Munchlax escaped.
"Quick Kecleon, use Snychronoise again!"
Kecleon launched the move one more time.
The ball shook once... The ball shook twice... The ball shook trice... Poof! Munchlax was caught! Seeing the green light made me and her leaped as one again, I've proven my skills in finding Pokemon is top notch. She grabbed the Pokeball and sent out the Pokemon, only to be met with a grumpy looking Munchlax. Nevertheless, she was pleased.
"Thank you so much, Luna!" said Alice.
"No prob!" I said, dusting off my shoulders.
"I guess you and Munchlax have a long way to go."
"It's fine. As long as it's cute." she said, trying to hug the Pokemon when suddenly it bit her fingers intentionally.
"Okay then. So? About some Castelia Cones?" I suggested.
