From the perspective of Emma:
The sickening smell of metal and rotting flesh blanketing the air in a choking aroma. I should have been used to this by now, but the strings these scenes pulled hit me like a wave. It didn't help that the wind whipped around wildly inward to the alley. There was no way we would be able to move the victim out of the alley without loosing evidence in the wind. The victim was male with black hair and light brown eyes. His once lively skin was now dull, gray, and was covered with insects that crawled up and down his stiff corpse. He was staring off into space, but I couldn't tell what it is he was looking at or for. As far as I knew he was cut open from the stomach and the assailant left him there to die, with his abdomen cradled in his arms.
Could this night get any worse? On his belly was a clear symbol carved with the use of a knife. O.E.B. that sounds like an organization who sought to do the good by doing what was evil. An officer came towards me and gave me a footage of the incident. I watched it from his laptop.
It showed the man was walking innocently down the alley when a motorcycle came and struck him from there. That's not all. The murderer was ruthless as she went down and stabbed the man multiple times until their logo is carved on it. I am uncertain if this is to be considered as justice as he too was once a murderer according to his profile. It could be someone was only trying to take revenge.
Aside from this, there was no one in the alley during that time. It was absolutely silent and the murderer was wearing a helmet so we couldn't quite determine who she was. However, I and the police force are certain this the work of a female because of her slim body and... you know what I mean.
What pushes the investigation to the farthest side of success was the fact there is a new roaming organization. We checked the other CCTV cameras to try and pinpoint the direction the murderer went but her vehicle was too fast. It was like watching light travel in front of your eyes and thus it couldn't explain if she took a right turn in the intersection, perhaps a left turn. Plus, she doesn't seem to be from around here. The end of her plate number as seen during the time she parked her vehicle to stab the gangster was number 4.
Mr. Looker told me something about this. Each region has a code based on their number. Kanto is one, Johto is two, Hoenn is three, Sinnoh is four, Unova is five, Kalos is six, Alola is seven, and there's another region but in terms of this kind of mechanism, they don't exactly follow the rules. Galar, those people have their independent system that even I nor the detective could understand.
This night has brought stress to me as I wonder what I should be doing now! Which should be ruled? I could just make a report and say it was a suicide but people will think I'm a fraud once they know the truth, especially the family of the gangster. However, knowing there is a roaming organization that is still in its infancy stage raised our awareness.
This could give us the opportunity to stop them before they go berserk like Team Rocket and Team Plasma, the two organizations I've heard about that lurks in this region. Puzzled, I sighed and told the officers that we would need more than a night to solve this mystery. Who is to blame for the death of an innocent? Well, we're only in the beginning.
As for the murderer, I knew she was hired or something. No one has the courage to stab another vigorously as they would feel guilty at times. What's surprising, the murderer stabbed him many times, proving her confidence to commit such a crime.
She and her organization will definitely strike another one, perhaps not an innocent. I'm sure of it. The only thing I could do is to announce to the public to be aware of the roaming organization but by doing so, I sacrifice the tranquility of the whole region as everyone would start to panic.
The officers gave me an option to tell the detective about this but I refuted. I didn't want him to go panicking as well that there's a serious case of murder happening. By this, I could prove to him I got what it takes to be the next Looker!
Well, you can't have both. The scales of justice cannot be evenly weighted and now I've witnessed a crime which was done for the sake of revenge and vengeance. A soul for a soul.
