The mission was a success but I think Pierce made things dramatic by literally reporting to Miyamoto and Domino that I stepped on the brittle rock because I was talking with someone and not paying attention to the mission. Adding to this, he embarrassed Alice who did nothing at all but to hide behind my back. That guy's tense and I'm going to watch out for him from here on out.
Aside from the things stated above, Alice got even more timid because of the report and wouldn't really show herself anymore as she suffered embarrassment. Well, I tried to take the blame but luckily both districts officers forgave us. And as for Munna, Virgo classified it as her own Pokemon but can be used by Team Rocket to conduct research of the waves it emit.
Next up, we got our dorm now. Meaning, all five of us will be sleeping in the same room which is fine but uncomfortable for Oliver. I understand why and I don't want to delve in to such topic. The room was big,there were two bunk beds and one plain one. As always, I stayed by the bottom part of the bed while I chose Charlotte as my bunk buddy.
She loves to sleep atop the second bed but she lost her attitude of jumping down the bed. I wished she did, but the older we grow, the more mature we become, and I'm afraid our old selves will be left behind as we accept the new us. Nineteen years old, one more, then I'm an adult. Time flies so fast.
As we were given time to rest while Munna is currently being observed under our authorities, the feeling came by again. Arceus, I just remember her often. When no one was looking, I left the room for a moment. Although, I never noticed one of them was looking at me. I walked around the halls, thinking of ways to just forget her but not literally.
I sat by the bench, watching everyone pass by me while holding her flower and Heart Ball that I sometimes refer to as a Poke ball. The memory came by again, the times Team Galactic was a total bother in the Sinnoh Region now nothing a corrupted organization. So far, Team Rocket's progress is stable, better than the rest I've seen before.
I've taken down many organizations, but Team Galactic, Liligant should've never been sacrificed if it weren't for the schemes. I know Mars and Jupiter are still alive, hopefully not, but if I meet them again, I'm going to make sure they'll pay for this.
"H-hey. I noticed you went out of the room. Is there anything you need?" Virgo sat beside me, reading another novel as expected.
"You're still a book addict?"
"I prefer the term Bibliophile. Don't mind me, I'm just reading. If there's anything you need, just tell me."
"I don't know? Maybe a new Petilil? God, what am I saying? Of course I wouldn't want to replace Lily."
"Lily? What happened to her?"
"Haven't you heard? She's gone."
Her hand trembled, her smile became a frown as she couldn't focus on what she was reading. "I- I'm sorry. I should've known, you're my friend."
"Thanks anyway," I muttered with gloom.
"D-don't feel sad. I'm pretty sure there a dozen more Pokemon who are like Lily here in the region. Who knows? You might capture one one day."
"I guess."
"We understand death only after it has placed its hands on someone we love."
"You're right."
"Huh? Oh don't mind me, I was reading my novel loudly, hehe."
I pouted. "So? You got any new Pokemon?"
"No. My Fluffy evolved to Amphy."
"Who's that again?"
"Right! I forgot to tell you Amphy is my Ampharos. I love nicknames! Also, Bayleef is still a Bayleef! Couldn't you believe that? It never evolved yet!"
"And you're happy about it?"
"No. I guess I exaggerated but I rarely participate in Pokemon battles, especially when Cliff was held captive by the Pokemon International Police."
"H-held captive?! What happened to my mentor? I've never heard a single news from him since two years ago!"
"He's um... how should I put this? Gone. I think in prison after a mission's failure. There were efforts to rescue him but... I don't want to elaborate further, you'll only get disappointed."
"I guess their time is over. All three Elites of the Rocket Academy had perished and more famous people of our organization is fading slowly by slowly."
"Indeed, that is why the future generation, us, will be taking their places. Madame Boss? She ain't strict. I've seen worse. Although, her nature forces us to go beyond our limits for the sake of Team Rocket's future."
And from there, I smiled at her, and for a moment, my thought of Liligant was gone. She's right, there's a ton of Pokemon I haven't met yet. Who knows? Maybe some of them are like Lily.
