Baked omelets for breakfast are the best if paired with a glass of orange juice. I truly enjoy them to the fullest, making sure everything would be gobbled up in my mouth until not a single molecule from the plate is left. Gobble this, gobble that! I'm loving Charlotte's breaky wakey! Breaky Wakey, that's what I call breakfast for some reason.
During my mourning time in the lake, she cooked us omelets, and now? She did it again! She's really a hard-working woman who only cooks to prove how better she is against the two young prodigies.
Although I enjoyed her breakfast, my mind was still solemn and sad for I would always remember Lily's image. I'm just used to eating with her. Now that she's gone completely, eating breakfast is incomplete, even if it means eating with my other five,
"Come on? Don't be sad. Ain't my omelets yummy?" Charlotte asked, somewhat "supervising" me and my Pokemon. Everyone was finished eating except for me and the rest of us. We ate slowly like a snail, taking some small sips either from our glass of water or orange juice. I gave Charlotte a small smirk which immediately turned into a frown.
"Lily's going to be fine, don't think of her for now. I told you that already," she advised.
"I-I- c-can't." I stuttered.
"Of course you can! Just stop imagining her for a moment and concentrate on that omelet of yours. I purposely shaped it to a happy face for you!"
In response, I nodded my head and continued to eat. Squashing the food with my fork and eating with the pace of a snail. I infected Charlotte with my gloom as she got sleepy from watching me slowly eating her omelet. Her eyes blink slowly, looking at the fork that slowly entered my mouth.
She observed me chewing, and minutes after that, she fell asleep in front of me. I didn't mind to wake her up, it was only when the twins arrived when the two of us were startled. They shouted our names, "Luna! Charlotte!" as the two of us looked at them, wondering why they called our names.
"There's a violet woman on our laptop! She's looking for you and she wants to speak to you privately! She said she tried calling yours but you weren't answering." reported, Faith.
"O-oh" I slowly stood up from my chair and followed the twins to their room. For some reason, my negativity does not seem to affect them. They happily skimmed through the stairs, and now I hold the responsibility of making sure they won't stumble down. Sigh, life without Lily is boring and sad. I could still smell her fragrance.
They allowed me to enter the room and literally locked me inside while they wait outside. It's fine with me if they eavesdrop, it's not like a bunch of kids would retaliate against Team Rocket and win. I approached their laptop which sat atop a table and saw the last person I expected to come and call me, Virgo.
"Luna! It's... Huh? Why sad all of a sudden?" she noticed my frown.
"I-It's no-nothing," I replied.
"You're stuttering?! Is your microchip alright?"
"I-I'd a-- sigh, yes."
"Huh? Doesn't seem to be the case for me. Anyway, I'll check that microchip of yours once you return to Johto!" she screamed delightfully.
"Johto?!"
"Yup! You heard right! You're returning to Johto! I can't wait to show my latest invention, and oh! We've captured a legendary Pokemon, I can't wait to show it to you! Ah! We've been separated for two years, and now I'm excited to meet you again!" she shrieked, very loud that it pains my ears.
"How... How nice." I replied softly.
"What?! You're not excited?"
"I-I am. I-is-"
"No, sadly, the executives only need you!"
"Great. Th-thanks for t-the reminder."
"The ship is to arrive here today, after lunch."
My eyes widened.
"Well, that's what you get for not minding my calls! It's been a week! You never answered them! Not my fault. Anyway, I'll be seeing you tomorrow! Goodbye, Luna!" and just like that, she declined the call.
