Chapter 391 - EPISODE 61: And the Lake Guardian Goes To?*

We are now currently in a rush to the lake after our drones detected the presence of nearby helicopters heading towards it. Looks like the twins had done it again and if it weren't for their intelligence, Team Galactic would've succeeded with their plans. Now off the main scheme, our plan would be simple.

We will be grabbing the Lake Guardian from them once they acquire it first since that is our only option for a squadron who has a mere amount of members. Like they, act smart not hard. Though, in order to do so, I believe we must come across a few grunts or so, especially the ones protecting the gates.

We are also aware of a hydraulic bomb that is set to explode. So we'll just let them take the lead for now. In a safe distance, with "popcorn" and drinks, we ought to watch the upcoming fireworks that are soon to drag the attention of the Pokemon International Police.

The clock is near evening and there we saw the helicopters arriving to the scene. The helicopters surrounded a large one in which we suspect is the mother aircraft which upholds the hydraulic bombs. Three minutes to the clock and the mother aircraft is directly above the lake. No people around so far.

Then came the bomb in which we saw it with our very own eyes. It fell from the bottom of the aircraft, we can even hear it shrieking for some reason. Must've something to do with the air. Following up was the sight we've been waiting for. The hydraulic bomb successfully fell at the water and there the explosion began.

It formed a mushroom cloud, but it was small for it was not actually a hydrogen bomb. Its name itself explains how the explosion begins. Atoms are pressed and because of pressure, boom! The fireworks begin. Hydrogen bombs are completely more powerful and maybe even surpassing the strength of an Atomic bomb. An example of an atomic bomb was the one that hit our country during world war two.

The explosion though was vast but smaller than the above. It was vast that I could feel the wind just slapping my face hard. Like the past, the bomb was able to evaporate the sea's water, revealing an underwater cave. Then came Team Galactic's actions, zooming down their helicopters with ropes. They sent out their Pokemon, ready for excavation.

"Hippowdon! Use dig!"

"Quagsire, proceed with Slash!"

"Donphan, Bulldoze!"

"Claydol, Rock Tomb!"

All the grunts started attacking the cave under the command of Elite Operative Venus. Meanwhile, Saturn waits by leaning on a pine tree, just serving as some sort of supporter, unlike Jupiter who really helped out.

Now it was time for our plan to commence and this started with Gliscor. It was time for its skill to debut and currently, it has a set of decent moves. Sky-Uppercut, Roost, Sand Tomb, and Acrobatics. Two flying, one fighting, and one ground. Charlotte really knows her stuff not to mention she's fond of using TMs compared to us.

Disturbed from its slumber, Uxie made an appearance. Flustered, it opened its eyes. I can't quite describe the looks of it since I closed mine. I'm not knowledgeable and I don't want my only knowledge and memory to get sucked out of my mind.

"Close your eyes!" shouted Venus. The others followed, while the rest flinched either because of awe or they heard the command late. Saturn does know Uxie's capability, and so he closed his eyes. But for those who weren't able to, they started acting like monkeys, having no idea how the world functions. Uxie closed its eyes again.

"Argh! Detain those freaks!" commanded, Saturn to her squadron to arrest the grunts who were acting like monkeys. Literally one of them tried to eat a stone. Others were stagnant. They weren't moving for their memories have been deleted and they knew not of who they were or where they are.

After the detainment, Venus took action and zapped the Pokemon with some large futuristic gun that paralyzed the foe. Upon falling from the sky to the seabed, came the grunts who attacked the paralyzed Pokemon to weaken it.

"Tyranitar, Rock Tomb!"

"Hippowdon, now use Dig! Hit it will all your might!"

Weakened, Uxie could barely move while Saturn laughed in success and Venus was happy she'll be getting praise from the boss, unlike Pluto's defeat. The other grunts took the lead and placed the weakened and barely breathing Pokemon to a cage. The cage has iron bars as strong as titanium. Escaping is impossible, teleportation is prohibited for it was paralyzed.

"Hey, Galactic bastards, mind playing with us for a bit?" leaning on a pine tree with a smirk-- a malicious one, was no other than Copper. Beside him was a tree-like figure who wears gloves. The name goes by Hitmonchan and is one of Copper's Pokemon.

"Its Team Rocket! Capture them immediately!" Saturn wasted no opportunity for the games we were playing with them. The grunts sent out their Pokemon for the second round and asked them to attack Hitmonchan and Copper. Distracted, Venus and her squadron was the only one who remained focus towards their goal.

"Good day! Let's brighten things up a bit." the twins surprised Venus from behind. They pulled her shirt and she got angry. Upon looking behind, she saw two Cheshire twins with their Pokemon that zapped her with Discharge.

As that happens, Scyther and Oliver did their work and in seconds, they knocked out the squadron of Elite Operative Venus. Now it's time to take this to a whole new level. Battles were occurring here and there and that was the perfect moment for Gliscor to be part of its first scheme.

it glided from the air down the dry lake, picking up the heavy cage with its pincers. It then returned to me, Zeal, and Charlotte were hiding in a hill.

"Mind having a piece of that action. Hitmonlee, Mega Kick!" Vizion supported Copper.

"Nice, Hitmonchan, Mega Kick let's go!" and in return, Copper supported Vizion.

"Great, now go back to headquarters before they find out. Leave the rest to me." I instructed and glided down the slope of the hill, entering the action as I threw Lily out of her Pokeball. The Pokemon International Police will be deciding their faith after this.

"Ms. Luna! Go!" alerted the twins, holding an electric fan, of course, a small one.

"Great! Lily, now use Sleep Powder!"

Liligant emitted the power through her flower atop her head. With the fan, it was able to spread throughout the lake, affecting Team Galactic grunts, the commander, and the Elite Operative as well. As for us, since this was carefully planned out, we held our breathe momentarily as we rushed out of the scene.

Ten minutes since we've left, the Pokemon International Police arrived. To their surprise, everyone was sleeping. We did their job, so the credits go to us. Even the detective and the assistant themselves were stunned as they thought of logical ways of how this could happen in the first place.

Anyway, they all received their faith and that was prison and interrogation! Commander Saturn is now captured, Elite Operative Venus is now held captive by the PIP, and that leaves Team Galactic with two more commanders again.
