It's coming, it's coming out, I can feel it. I wanted to hesitate but I can't. I felt uncomfortable, switching from the left to the right. Something inside me is tingling, a gushing liquid that woke me up. I'm too lazy to go to the bathroom. Probably because this was my first time to be awakened by my urge to pee.
Arceus! I shouldn't have drank a ton of orange juice before sleeping. Well, Charlotte did warn me but I was unable to listen to her because of the deliciousness of the twins' homemade orange juice. I just can't neglect drinking at least a glass every night but this time I drank, three glasses which is above the average.
Now, I feel the liquid pushing itself out of my body and I finally I gave in and rushed out of my room. I was scared though, but I did not mind. My room is on the second floor and now I'll be having to walk blindly throughout the hallway.
"Calm down! I'm going as fast as I could." I told my little bladder though I was walking at a slow pace because of how tired I am. I should be expecting eye bugs tomorrow. While walking, my back was completely slouched. I checked the time on my watch. It was currently two in the morning.
In the bathroom downstairs, I took my time for a total of fifteen minutes. One minute for the pee, and the rest, I accidentally slept. If it wasn't for the wind that suddenly strengthened and passed through the air vent of the bathroom, I'd be waking up later in the morning.
Before heading back to my room, I went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Phew, glad Charlotte never ate my cupcake. She usually gobbles half of it every time she sleepwalks and sleep eats but looks like I came here before her. A little early morning snack I had while watching the monitor. We kept the cameras open 24/7 and it would be nice to view the lakes in a quiet time like this.
Then came drowsiness in which I could not tolerate. After eating my cupcake, I returned to my room by taking the long cut which is passing through the hall on the ground floor in which the stairs lie at the very end. Well, while passing through, I noticed something peculiar which made me halt. I felt the wind all of a sudden. How strange? There are no windows in this facility except for the air vent in the bathroom though I wouldn't consider that as a window.
I looked around me and noticed I was beside Zeal's door. There was a tiny gap that signified it was open. At first, I sighed, telling, "Zeal! You forgot to close your door." yet no one answered. Perhaps she's deep asleep? Well, I decided to take a peek and saw no one. She left her air-conditioner open? How classic of her, no wonder our bills are high.
"No where could that woman be?!" I queried. I looked everywhere in the kitchen, she was obviously not sleeping walking nor sleep eating. Well, she's also not in the monitors since I was there and definitely not in the bathroom. I went out and saw that Copper's room was also open. Things were starting to get strange and I even thought I was dreaming.
Copper was not in his room, Zeal was not in her room, and worse, I also noticed Vizion, our team captain is not in his room too. Where could they have been? This made me panic-stricken. My heart was pounding loudly, they definitely went somewhere without telling us. Worse, it's possible they could be in trouble.
I knocked on Charlotte's door to wake her up. Glad she responded quickly and opened the door with a drowsy look on her face.
"Luna, it's- it's early," Charlotte uttered softly while rubbing her twinkling eyes.
"Yeah, I know. Zeal, Vizion, and Copper are missing. They didn't even ask permission from us."
"Good to know you know how I feel whenever you do that to me."
"Hehe."
"Okay, so what do you want me to do?" she didn't seem serious for she was sleepy so I shook her body to wake her up.
"They're gone?!" there's the Charlotte I know, all awakened and panicking once someone from our team is missing.
"Yeah. My radar's busted."
"Mine is charging. How can we contact them now?!"
"I have an idea? Your phone! Do you still have her email?"
"Who? Oh, right, I remember. Yeah, she sent it to me when we arrived here."
"Great, then give me the code and I'll type it in the big screen."
"Right, give me a few minutes of stretching." and just like that, she closed the door. Three seconds afterward, she opened it again but looking rather determined that before. She held her phone as we traveled to the big screen to locate their location before it's too late or if something terrible went wrong. Now I know how it feels to be Charlotte.
