The archives were successfully acquired within ten minutes, which includes traveling to the city and traveling back here to headquarters. Oliver entered the door with a swag, tossing the microchip up and down and placing it on the table. Most of us were shocked while the twins just childishly cheer for him. In his mind, the broody expression of Cyrus still haunted him until this very moment but he refused to tell us.
The archives does not tell much. We have no plans to investigate Cyrus's underlings one by one. Although, there was something interesting that we found within the archives. Data. There was information about their goals and their plan to bring destruction not to a region, not to a world, but to the entire universe. The old peace born out chaos type of plan but looks like the madman wants to let the whole universe get itself involved.
I remembered Lilith, a mother of two, who sought the same goal but only planned to destroy her motherland. Now we have a bigger problem, Cyrus and his galactic regime whom I thought was strong but could be easily defeated by a young man who dashes around in roller skates. Oliver surely gave Cyrus a headache.
Now that the archives had been analyzed and we were able to detect the motives of our galactic enemies, I filed another leave, and this time Charlotte was aware. Eterna City gave me a bother. I wanted to know how it looked like, I wanted to feel the same breeze Oliver felt when he stepped unto its soil.
I commuted going to the city. It took an hour for the Tauros and his driver to bring me there but it was worth the while for I had the chance to watch the sun blaze brightly above the horizons, the trees clothed with the delicate snow, slowly turning into green the further we went from Snowpoint City. Overall, it was an enjoyable ride that I could get used to as days turns into months.
Eterna City, the beauty covered by mountains. It had a historic ambiance to it. Upon my arrival, a young trainer gave me a brochure. The brochure contains all the famous landmarks of the city and the first place I visited was the monumental statue in the east. Folks say that in the day, the statue has the appearance of Palkia, the Pokemon said to be the deity of space. Folks say that in the night, the statue has the appearance of Dialgia, the Pokemon said to be the deity of time.
The sculpture was a perfect starfish, as white as the bleached corals, as blanched as the hearts as the locals. The face of the sculpture was not one of joy, nor the sort of happiness that brings laughter, but of the sort of responsibility one gains when knowing space and time is placed in one's hands.
Time and Space, the first two forces of nature that came into being. Harnessing the powers of those who created them will definitely impress the executives. Team Rocket could soon be an intergalactic regime or better, we could have time machines too. Our imagination is vast whenever we think of these two Pokemon.
Enough with the staring, I figured this would be the right moment to have a break. From the monument, I went to the cafe when suddenly I heard a noise coming from the back. It was loud, somehow like an explosion that piqued my curiosity; therefore, giving me the decision to see what's up. I hid behind a post and to my surprise, I saw Logan again.
She was battling the champion, Champion Cynthia, a woman whom I've heard many times. She has a high reputation not only in my city but also throughout the region as one of the most powerful champions that ever existed. Those from Galar however, do not believe this fact for they believe their champion is stronger than her.
I continued to watch the battle, the struggle of Gallade when two fierce dragon moves went straight to him. Of course, I was never expecting Logan to win since if he did, then that would prove Cynthia's title wrong. I further observed, and there I saw Cynthia giving one Pokemon Egg each to the three of them. Logan chose the blue, his little friend chose the red one, and the other chose the rainbow.
Cynthia then looked to the surroundings, and there my attention went to her. I tried to run after she saw me but she told me not to. I was timid, as she forced me to go closer to her. The other two were in confusion as Logan broadened up his smile after seeing me.
"Luna! I never knew you were here in Sinnoh, you could've at least told me so." Logan rushed to me, greeting me with a smile.
"You know her?" Dawn went closer alongside Lucas.
"Yes, well I met her in Hoenn. Luna, this is Lucas and Dawn." Logan introduced me to his friends.
"H-hi!" I responded with a timid smile.
"Nice to meet you. Are you a trainer?" Lucas asked, shaking my hand vigorously with enthusiasm.
"Perhaps a coordinator?" Dawn asked too, shaking my hand like how Lucas once shook mine.
"Um..." I thought deeply. I can't just reveal to them my identity.
"She's a member of a cool organization that helps Pokemon who were abandoned by their trainers." Logan covered up for me. Phew, that was close. I and Logan had a hard time thinking of an excuse.
"Is that so? Tell me, Luna, where are you from? Your region." Cynthia made her way into the conversation. Her expression was plain, simple, a little smirk like how every flawless women smirk.
"Saffron City, Kanto Region."
"Oh my, that is far from Sinnoh. You must have a branch of whatever organization you're working for here in this region. Hmm, I also heard that Sabrina spent her vacation here, is there by any chance you've met her?"
"Who's Sabrina?" Lucas queried.
"Sabrina is the gym leader of Saffron City." answered, Logan.
"I did. We had a little talk, that's all." I replied to the champion's question.
