Saddled on our Rocket attires, it was time to meet the executives for another round. Currently, ten in the morning, and the eight of us had just finished eating breakfast. Omelets sided with orange juice, it was all thanks to the twins who filled up our bellies. As a young adult, no longer a teenager, this makes me embarrassed that someone younger than me knows how to cook and is the one responsible for my meals.
Gathered at the main wing-that is what we decided to call the control room- we sat down on our long and swirly chairs. I miss the days when I once spun around my mother's chair. It was delightful though that was the first time I puked and the worse part, I puked on my mother's laptop since it was on her desk.
Well, as time passed by, I forgot that incident when I was five. This time, however, I'll make sure I don't go puking again, especially if I'm surrounded by people and their laptops.
There wasn't an assigned leader so we decided to nominate Vizion since, amongst all of us, he is the most famous and explicit elite operative who clearly has more skills than us. In short, he is Xavier but reincarnated. Since Vizion is the leader, he holds the key to accessing the large screen in which we used to contact the four, I mean three executives of Team Rocket. Petrel is no longer part of it.
The meeting began and it is about time that I stopped spinning my chair. I feel nauseous again after that playful act of mine but I can't blame myself, even the rich and serious spin their chairs. After resting for about a minute to calm my dizzy head, we came in contact with the executives, still using the whole shadow mechanism.
All we see on the screen are their silhouettes in which their bodies are outlined by the color of their hair. And there when I thought things couldn't get any much better, a fourth silhouette appeared. Her body was traced with violet, as corresponding to the color of her hair.
I and Charlotte were beaming with exuberance for we knew not Virgo was to be part of this meeting as well. The rest of them were stunned, wondering why we're so happy since not a single one of them had met Virgo yet.
"Luna Evergreen! It's nice to see you." Virgo greeted us first.
"You never told me you were promoted as an executive of Team Rocket. You're way higher than me and Charlotte's rank!"
"Wait, Charlotte is there too? B-but, I saw her die."
"Yeah, long story. Anyway, how's things in Johto." asked, the rambunctious high-flying girl.
"Well, I'm not an executive actually. I'm just a professor, you know? Like Professor Olive. And guess what, my Flaaffy evolved into Ampharos and- Ah, I can't really focus right now knowing that Charlotte is still alive."
"Quite shocking right? Well, I'll explain when we meet again." I giggled.
"..." Virgo was still speechless after hearing and seeing that Charlotte was alive. She didn't know how to react, her bones were stiff and her face paled in shock. Her heart also throbbed as her mouth twitched with her eyebrows raised. She couldn't speak, couldn't comprehend the things she had just saw.
"Excuse me, I think this is a meeting and not a reunion." Copper interrupted. He was sitting in the corner of the room, slowly swaying his chair while biting a toothpick. He looks like a detective with jazz music in the background.
"R-right." Virgo snapped back and gave the opportunity for the executives to talk.
"Alright. Good morning, elite operatives. Welcome to the Sinnoh Region, a region bound with the abundance of strong trainers and other competitive organizations so we decided to assemble the eight of you. And because our other elites are busy with whatever their agenda is in the North Pole." Ariana stated first.
"Luna, Vizion, Copper, Oliver, the twins, Zeal, and the one who recently got her memory back, welcome to Operation: Sinnoh. In here, your duty as elites is to establish an official headquarters for the sake of the development of our region." Proton followed.
"They forgot me." Charlotte murmured with disappointment.
"Of course not, Charlotte. Your database is still with us and it took us more than a week to comprehend this news that you were still alive." Archer replied.
"Wait, you knew she was alive and you didn't tell me, executive?!" Virgo entered the conversation again.
"Well, now you know," Archer replied again, but sarcastic this time.
"So, executives? What shall be our first tasks?" Vizion inquired.
"Simple. You will travel to a city known as Hearthome. There, you will be infiltrating a synagogue to steal a valuable gem that can cost a ton of money. Of course, if we want this to be successful then we must have the required amount of money.
So as elites, we believe this heist will be easy for all of you to do. The buyer by the way is also at Hearthome City." Ariana explained.
"So, we've become a black market now?" Faith teased.
"No, not exactly... Actually, you have a point. The buyer is from a secret anonymous organization that not even we know about. He wants the gem at exactly six in the evening and will be waiting for at least one of you in the city's Pokemon Center. Now, it is up to the eight of you to construct your own plan towards this. You have a van there in the garage, I believe Oliver has a license.
The buyer is a woman, blonde hair, red dress, and has a lab coat." added, Executive Proton.
"That is all, and do it for the sake of Team Rocket." Archer finished with the remarks, disconnecting from our internet server.
"Oh and, good luck!" Virgo added before the screen shuts.
"So, silent boy, you know how to drive?" Zeal queried. Oliver slowly nodded his head, winking at the seven of us.
For a few more hours we discussed our plan, and luckily, there was cooperation amongst us. Our roles are divided and we did a little research about the city and the synagogue. The priceless gem is located at the very back, in the storage room, protected by a whole complex system of security.
There are cameras surrounding the gem and guards active in the camera room 24/7. Only through ID scanning can one access the room in which the gem is located in. There are also beams of lasers protecting our target so we need to split into three groups.
The classic Combat, Neuro, and Stealth system. The Neuro agents will be hacking the camera systems and the red lasers while the combats bust in through the back doors, stealing someone's apparel and ID. The Stealth, since it is just Vizion, Copper, and Oliver, they have different tasks to do. Copper and Vizion will help Neuro and their hacking techniques.
They are our communicators, telling us when and where to go. Meanwhile, Oliver as a driver is already a role so yeah, I guess he'll be tuning in to the music, for now, sitting in the driver's seat while everyone does their other parts. Surprisingly, he has a license and neither one of us knows about this.
