She held her sister tightly for one last moment and the only thing that was left on her mind was hatred. Hatred for me and my very existence. I wanted to explain to her further but I had an important job to finish, an important job to do. From this day onward, Jenny will be seeking revenge for the death of her sister, and her main target is me.
As for me, I rushed to the control room, despite my aching limbs and found the key in the control panel. I did what was told and flicked the key. Next, the alarms flickered red as the countdown begins to tick. With one minute on the clock, I familiarized myself with the buttons, identifying each and every single one of their functions.
The eject button, check, now all I have to do is to sit down, relax, and enjoy this once in a lifetime journey to space. Ten seconds remaining and I can hear Jenny's violent efforts of knocking down the door to the spaceship. It scared me, since I never knew her kicks were that powerful.
At its bottom, smoke emerged as the surrounding area began to shake. Even Jenny was unable to balance herself as the rocket ship headed directly to space. Buckled up in my seat, I perspired heavier than before. My heart is pounding hard as my body shakes alongside the rocket ship.
On the radar, ten feet up from the ground, it was time to suit up. Pressing the button changed my rocket attire to a Team Rocket space-themed suit. The suit was primarily black with a few little tweaks of gold at the shoulders and legs. It feels heavy to be inside one of these suits.
The suit is said to protect me from the heat of the faraway sun and the coldness of the vast darkness of space.
Behind me is somewhat a box labeled as PLSS, perhaps this is where my oxygen is stored. 50 miles above ground, and the blue skies slowly fade into black. I was getting more flustered the higher I went. I wanted to escape, wishing that I was never the chosen one.
62 miles above ground, the sirens rang, the signal of my next step. The rocket ship's pace became slow as it exited the exosphere of our planet. It was a wonderful experience to see the beauty beyond our planet, and this makes me wonder if there is by any chance, a possibility for parallel universes to exist.
I pressed the eject button, causing the nose of the ship to open and blasting me off to space. I floated around, swiveling and twisting to enjoy a momentarily fun minute in a place I'd be seeing once for an entire lifetime. That enjoyment ended right away when I saw the meteorite heading from afar.
My mind started to panic, I forgot what to do next as stared at the giant blueberry. Earth reminded me of my mission to capture Deoxys so I sent out Rayquaza from its Rocket Ball. Clinging unto its back, I shouted the words, "Dragon Ascent!" which caused the Pokemon to mega evolve. How I missed riding in such a majestic dragon.
As for the debris, it crashed to Earth but has no potential of blowing up the whole planet. "That was quite easy," I told myself in confidence when suddenly the black blob morphed into a blue one and slowly expanding itself.
"..." speechless, I was after seeing the blob forming eyes, arms, tentacles- I think- and many more features. It has this core system at the center of its chest and at that moment, Deoxys debuted.
Deoxys is an alien-like bipedal Pokémon that has four Formes, each focused on a different stat. The main components that are constant for all four Formes are a dominant reddish-orange color, a bluish-green face, and three bluish-green dots on its back arranged in a triangle.
There is a purple stripe running down the center of its face and a purple, crystalline organ in its chest. Its white, circular eyes are set inside rectangular, black eye sockets.
"You call that giant space rock your home?" I teased.
"Ah, Arceus! Lower down your tone, you're literally screaming in my mind."
Deoxys warped again, changing its form to its Attack Forme. While in its Attack Forme, its legs remain tapered. However, its blue stripes are no longer segmented and run the entire length of the leg and there is now a large spike on the knee. Two pairs of whip-like tentacles with pointed tips, one reddish-orange and one blue, replace its previous coiled, blunted tentacles.
The protrusions on its head are now triangular with an additional one extending from the top of its head. Most of its reddish-orange skin has receded, revealing a striated, black chest and abdomen. Finally, its tail is now longer and more pointed.
"Alright Rayquaza, Dragon Rush!" the battle between me and the space virus began. It traveled in high acceleration and in one second, Deoxys was blown into pieces. And there I thought this was my perfect opportunity to claim it, but I was proven wrong when it began to regenerate itself.
"Professor Olive never told me you can regenerate."
Then again, Deoxys changed its form into Speed Forme. The Speed Forme of this Pokémon has a sleek black body with thin striation. The reddish-orange skin now covers only its head, hip joints, and the area around its crystal.
There is now only one tentacle on each side of its body, one red and one blue. The protrusions on its head now point upward and the back of its head now forms a long spike. There is a long, thick blue stripe running down the center of this longer protrusion. More blue stripes appear on either hip joint and on its legs.
Like a none-stop karate master, it gave Rayquaza a thousand punches in a single second. Half of those punches went to my stomach. Again, I bounced off the Pokemon and my body ached painfully but I forced to forget about it. I was wrong when I underestimated Mr.Blobby.
When I took hold of Rayquaza for the third time, It lied me down a small asteroid which was once part of the large meteorite that was supposed to doom all of humanity. I wanted to fight but by the way it looks at me, it was trying to say, "Leave this me. Throw the ball when the perfect time strikes." with determination, I nodded and watched the match of a lifetime.
Rayquaza decided to use Dragon Ascent, it was one of those very few moments when the attack was able to hit Deoxys. It was a literal explosion in space, and after it settled, Deoxys looked fine and strong.
Deoxys changed back to its Attack Forme and strangled Rayquaza's neck with the power of its tentacles. Rayquaza was being choked and something must be done. I can't send out my Pokemon or else they'll perish in a matter of seconds.
"Hey! You don't like my species, then leave Rayquaza out of this. Let this battle be between you and me." I taunted, hoping by now Rayquaza would understand the secret message I inputted in my words.
Behind, Rayquaza makes its move, sending a sphere of fire to Deoxys's core in the center of its chest. It was able to hit the virus before it hits me. The virus started to malfunction, looking at its tentacles which were glitching.
Its voice also glitched while looking at Rayquaza,
The ball shook once, the ball shook twice, and finally, the green light appears, symbolizing I've captured Deoxys for good. Oh my, my body was extremely exuberant. I couldn't wait but to see Deoxys in action as a new superweapon of ours or a tool for Team Rocket's technology.
And then, I remembered something. I looked at my watch and noticed it was seven in the evening. It made me more exuberant. I still have time, I still have time to watch at least a glimpse of Logan's match, that is if, he hasn't been knocked out yet.
I'm leaving the rocket ship and space and it's up to the next astronauts to clean up my mess since I chose to use Rayquaza instead as a form of transportation. Before heading to the league, however, I must make sure I'll be able to deliver the Rocket Ball to the leaders who are probably back in headquarters after a long day fighting helicopters.
Meanwhile:
Time: 5:36, six minutes after Team Rocket's arrival at the Mossdeep Space Station. A kilometer away from the station, May and Brendan witnessed the missile fall and blow up the whole space station. They were stunned.
"You know what? Never mind, I'd rather go to the Pokemon League instead."
"I- I agree." concurred, May. The two of them were frozen in fear and from there, they head left to Ever Grande City instead.
