Hoenn is in panic amidst the night which was supposed to be serene and calm. Meanwhile, as a recently formed squadron, we have received extra assistance from Zinnia who acted as a member of Team Magma. At first, I was sorry knowing I nearly killed her, especially when Absol struck for her neck and abdomen.
By her side is a cute little Pokemon, she calls it Aster. She is known as a Lore-keeper, and alongside Aster, she brought terrible news. A meteorite which belongs to the Litleonid meteor shower has changed its course and is heading directly for Earth today's evening.
The instruction of Admin Fortuna had been disregarded as we all proposed to stop Team Aqua. I'd rather save my organization from drowning not to mention we sit on an island, rather than focusing on the space station. Kyogre is said to bring rains, storms, and can sink islands to the bottom of the ocean.
Now, we're at Team Magma's headquarters, suiting up with some scuba attire in hopes of stopping the event that happened back in history. Another round of swimming, and I think I can handle the coldness of the water once in for all after two times of trying to.
While wearing the scuba outfit, we scraped off the Magma logo. Each and every one of us was confident and enthusiastic but a part of us were still cowards, knowing we are to dive deep in the vast blue. No one knows what dangers reside there nor do we have any clue at all about the location of Team Aqua.
We're going blindly without any information about the place we are headed to with the need to stop Hoenn from impending doom for both the sake of our organization and our region.
Meanwhile, Maxie is nowhere to be found alongside Tabitha and his crew. It is a high possibility they were burned to ashes since they are closest to the rampaging beast. There is also a high chance that they decided to surrender, hiding in the shadows like cowards and waiting for the perfect opportunity to rise once more.
Though Team Magma might seem finished with a galore of fainted grunts at the floor of their headquarters, a rogue admin is on the loose with the hopes of letting the upcoming meteorite to set a collision course with Earth. Jenny is panicked for her sister, but she knew she needed to focus on Team Aqua first.
With everything prepared, Medicham sent us through its portals and into the wide blue sea. We are somewhere in the east of the region which means Groudon might be above us. We dived deep into the bowels of the blue, entering a small cavern.
We rested for a minute inside the cavern, discussing our next steps.
"Hoenn is vast with caverns, the main one is the Seafloor Cavern," Melody reported after identifying the locations of the vast array of caverns in this region. All cavern entrances lead to one, the Seafloor Cavern. The cavern we're in is called The Pirate's Foot since its geography looks like a foot.
Going further east of the cavern will lead us into another one which is connected to another. Any entrance we take leads to the largest, Seafloor Cavern, the only problem we have is where in Seafloor is Kyogre. We've entered a maze, now we have no choice but to follow Melody's radar, the map of the whole cavern system.
Though, one problem arose. The further we went, the lesser signal is acquired by the radar, thus the results seemed blurry to our eyes. We reached the end of the Pirate's Foot, and the radar is now of no use due to the lack of signal. Although, through times we still had a signal, Melody was able to analyze the location of the Seafloor Cavern. The only thing for her to do is to recall the map she memorized.
She led the way, followed by Zinnia and Vizion, Copper, and Jenny behind them in which, until now are arguing because of Courtney. Behind them, is me and Zeal, not minding the fight happening in front of us but instead following their footsteps.
Our feet kept on crushing to the soggy grains of ebony gravel, having that sulfuric and irritating scent that can damage one's nostrils. I for one, can't handle such smell; therefore, I wore a mask. In the middle of a stone arch that separates two caverns apart, we were put to a halt by a sudden rumble.
The cave began to roar ferociously; thus stalactites fell off and nearly crashed to us. We took shelter and stood between the arch. Groudon is perhaps above us, stepping his feet to the seafloor above us. Soon, the rumbling was put to a stop and it was finally safe to assume that we can continue this journey of ours.
Soon, in the intersection between four caverns, Melody was in confusion. She completely forgot what path to take.
"S-sorry, I tend to forget things often." she apologized.
When all hope seems lost, we heard a whistle with footsteps crashing on the gravel. We knew it was Team Aqua, therefore we decided to take the left and stalk them from behind. In this way, they will be the ones leading us to Kyogre and we can stop them from there.
Archie and his crew were in the front, leading the way while the rest of us slowly tiptoed behind them, making the slightest sounds as possible. Accidentally, I slipped because of the soggy gravel but luckily Zeal was able to pull me up quickly. We then hid behind a chunk of rocks as Archie looked behind because of the loud noise produced my feet when I slipped.
"Who's there?!" yelled, Archie. We kept our mouth shut, hiding behind the chunk of rocks.
"Perhaps you were hearing something, Leader Archie. It's probably nothing." Matori uttered.
"You're probably right. Forward it is!" Archie yelled loudly with determination and continued his way to the Seafloor Cavern with his grunts.
I whispered to Zeal and said, "I saw it. The Sapphire was in his palm."
"I saw that too. I bet we all saw it." Zeal replied.
