The helicopter was merely a calm before the storm and I feel like something bad is about to happen once we arrive at the vicinity. I can already hear Pokemon fighting with each other and now, I stare at my Pokeball wishing they'd be awake and will be doing what I bid to them.
As for Zeal, she looked to her Charizard's Pokeball, quite scared as she begged him to follow her commandments later on. Though Charizard saved her, that does not entirely mean Charizard will follow her but by the way it looks, Charizard loves his trainer and will do its best only to protect it.
We were the first to arrive before the squadron thanks to the swift speed of Xeryll's helicopter. Ah, as days go on, I learned to trust her to the point turbulence seemed nothing to me. Following behind us is the squadron helicopter.
The Weather Institute seemed more of a scene that was taken out of an apocalypse movie. The silence was so calm. It is the type of calmness the can trigger your senses, telling you something wrong is about to take place. As me and Zeal walked alongside with the squadron.
On the gates we were greeted by two Aqua grunts, smirking with us with confidence. They unleashed their Pokemon, and there the battle between Team Rocket and Team Aqua took place. It was a terrorizing fight, I remembered my past when I once infiltrated the laboratory of the Pokemon Government Council alone. I was spooked with all the smoke grenades being tossed to one another aside from the lingering Pokemon battles.
"Snorlax use...!"
"Quick, Raichu!"
"Sceptile, it's time for...!"
"Don't give up now Raticate!"
My ears were loaded with Pokemon names, letting out their arrogant cries to prove they're stronger than the other. From the two grunts supporting the entrance, ten more appeared to help out but that was not enough to handle our squadron which was more than thirty troops.
More Team Aqua grunts arrived from east of the vicinity, and most came from the north. It was a full squadron against squadron match and I was included.
"Heh, I guess we meet again."
"Aquarius?!"
"That's right, Persian, it's time to finish the match we once started! Now that your little friend-"
"Excuse me?! Logan is not my friend, we rarely even meet nowadays. If you want to fight then I'll make this quick. Bagon, Headbutt!"
And so, there was a point in time when I came across an elite operative of Team Aqua. Who could it be but Aquarius? Now the time is right to finish the fight we had once started.
Inside the weather institute, Team Aqua grunts reported to Admin Shelly who was busy typing in the keyboard connected to the large screen formed out of eight televisions. On a post were tied grunts of Team Rocket wherein two of them is no other than Symphony and Caspian.
"Admin Shelly! Back up from Team Rocket had arrived!" alerted, one of the grunts.
"Hurry and go handle them, this will be over soon, all I have to do is to find the file then bingo." instructed, Shelly.
"Hehehe... They got here already, did they? We underestimated them! But this is it! I'm a cut above the Grunts they've seen so far. I'm not stalling for time. I'm going to pulverize them!" Matt yawped and exited the control center to help out with a few grunts.
"Go get em." Shelly winked her eye at him as she uttered her words flawlessly.
The match between me and Aquarius ended up with me taking the trophy. I also added a pinch of pain, asking Bagon to headbutt the Elite Operative's head.
The war became some sort of tower defense when each decided to use their weaponry. It started with Copper who shamelessly decided to blast a group of grunts with the laser gun we have. Team Aqua repelled the attack with a weapon that shoots out cold water that may cause a grunt to enter a frozen state, luckily Copper was able to dodge that.
Soon, a problem arose at Vizion's side when suddenly two Aqua grunts were able to apprehend him and his Pokemon. I saw him struggle and I wanted to pour all my sympathy to him. About to rush and help the struggling Vizion, someone pulled my hand.
It was Elite Operative Melody and beside her was Zeal.
"You're an Elite Operative is it not?" Melody asked, gasping for air.
"Y-yes," I replied while looking at what was happening with Vizion. He was being pulled further from my sight and I became more worried.
"Then follow us, we know an alternative entrance to the institute." Melody instructed.
"W-wait, but I-"
"Come on Luna, we don't have much time, we'll save the rest of our squadron later. Once the leader or whoever is in charge is down, then the rest will leave. So why waste time here? We have to hurry since we do not have much time.
I know what they're after for, the weather reports of the past week. They'll use it to track down the specific cavern in which Kyogre can be found." Melody insisted, tightening her grip on my hand.
"F-fine." I sighed and concurred, hoping someone else would save Vizion. I felt sorry for him but Melody had a point.
While the war between Team Aqua and Team Rocket raged in the front, me, Melody, and Zeal made our way to the back. There was no door but with a powerful hyper beam from Melody's Snorlax, we were able to break down the wall. With no one looking, we entered the weather institute.
We hurried to the spiral stairs and into the second floor wherein the three of us came across Admin Matt. Oh, his scowl was the most blood-curling amongst the rest. His muscles, very tough, I presume not even a bullet can knock down Goliath.
"Oohh… Ha! Ha! Hah!" Matt laughed at the three of us. With his fists, he punched the belly of Melody's Snorlax causing it to blast back and hit its back on the wall. We all flinched because of his strength. His muscles are truly Brobdingnagian!
The fight was about to begin when all of a sudden a light from above flashed down to everyone fighting outside. Even the strong Admin Matt peaked out of the window to see what was happening. Everyone did not make a sound and the war was paused momentarily.
Soon, ropes dangled down from the plane above as more grunts joined the fight. It was not of Team Aqua nor Team Rocket. Who could it be but the fiery Team Magma?
Their grunts walked down the ropes, joining the fight. One of these was no other than Courtney, Jenny's little sister who said through a megaphone, "Quiet down insolent peasants, the Weather Institute is ours for the taking!"
From the ground comes a driller. More Team Magma grunts exited the large machinery and one of them is no other than Admin Tabitha. From a simple rivalry to the advent of a triple-team scheme.
