Sleepy with my rogue actions to soothe my curiosity and interest, I make my way back to my room. Like a zombie, I walk, my mind malfunctioning because of how late it is. I spent two hours doing my research and picturing them on my phone just to understand the events I have seen today and now I feel like I am about to have a migraine.
The painful aura, it is as if I did a high-jump kick and it miserably failed. I feel sorry for all those Scraggies and other Pokemon that can learn such a move. The headache continues as all I long for is my pillow and comfortable blanket. I even think I am starting to hallucinate or getting nauseous with everything looking blurred and wiggly.
There was even a thought in my mind to screw walking and sleep on the floor instead. This is how desperate I am. I am merely forcing myself to hang tight to what is left of my energy. If I was a phone, I'd be dead-bat by now.
And at last with my remaining strength, I reach my room in which I jumped to my bed as I throw my shoes out of my feet. Ah, a peaceful night indeed, or so I thought. Charlotte's image frequently appears on my mind every now and then, disturbing me from a long and tranquil rest. I remember the moments I spent with her when she was still alive. Her characteristic has drastically changed to the point it really freaks me out.
It is as if the events a while ago was a trauma. Comparing her past to her present, I prefer to the past wherein she was sweet and rambunctious and all, trying to play with me all the time. There were instances when she would get in trouble and why would be in the corner, laughing softly as I watch the executives scold her. This is the Charlotte I know and not some random woman with the name of Axis who confidently tried to strike me without hesitation.
This night has been tough, and I rarely got the chance to sleep because of this. Six in the morning I was awakened by one of my tender darlings. It ruined my peace of mind, and I wanted to ignore Liligant so much. The longing for sleep, again it has been disturbed.
"What is it?!" I scold the hell out of Lily without the intention to do so. Hearing my inclined pitch, she hides behind the table, shivering in fear. I then apologized for my rant since it was early in the morning and my drowsiness still paralyzes me. As my voice calms, she walks gently to me as she points directly to the table.
From there my drowsiness snaps as I tilt to the incubator atop the table. It was shaking rambunctiously. It as that moment when I knew something great is about to happen. Something not worth sleeping or passing. In a jiffy I stood up, gushing to the table and staring at the egg.
I earnestly hope the day has come. The day when the egg hatches for good. The longer I wait, the more drowsiness returns to me. Although I may be sleepy again, something quickly vanishes it from existence. A tiny crack forms on the left, and seeing it made me exuberant and excited.
Soon, more cracks appear every now and then. From the left to the right and up to the center, today really is the day. My ecstasy was extreme to the point I forgot the events that happened yesterday. I also sent out the rest of my Pokemon for them to witness this great happening.
Finally, the egg glows and after fading, it reveals the Pokemon. It possesses a large, round snout, triangular eyes, yellow, circular ears similar to reptiles, and a yellow lower jaw with two teeth protruding upwards. Three thick, gray ridges cover the top of its head, and continue downwards to cover its neck as well. There is a triangular patch of yellow on its underside. It has stubby, digit-less arms and short legs with two toes on each foot.
Oh, my Pokemon were so happy to meet their next sister. Yes, the Pokedex has confirmed it. The Pokemon that hatched from the egg is no other than a feminine. It also states, [--- The rock head Pokemon! A --- type. It has a dream of one day soaring in the sky. In doomed efforts to fly, this Pokémon hurls itself off cliffs. As a result of its dives, its head has grown tough and as hard as tempered steel. Its well-developed neck muscles and iron-like head can smash boulders into pieces.]
"Hello there." I greet her with a pleasant smile as I release her from the incubator and held her in my grasps for the very first time. Out of all the Pokemon, I am happy to have a dragon type, Bagon.
