Pinning his head tightly to the table has gathered the attention of many but I care not. It was obvious Copper was already having a hard time to breathe yet I did not release him yet unless he confirms to my words. The longer he kept his mouth shut, the tighter I pinned his head.
"Anything else to say?" I whisper viciously, increasing the tension unto his head. The strange thing is, no one dared to stop me. They stood stagnant, watching me as if their eyes were saying, "Finish him off!". Perhaps it is the first time to see an agent do this to his fellow agent, or so I thought.
He did not surrender, nor did he say the word I wanted him to say. He remains as a courageous man who is afraid of telling an apology. He believes by doing so makes him weak thus embarrassing himself in front of the public who is quite entertained. Suddenly, a ball pen hits my chest, making me release copper. Luckily whoever did that was not using the tip but rather the button of the pen.
Accidentally releasing Copper, he takes the opportunity to escape and run to his friend who is the same person who hit me with the ball-pen. Everyone looked to him and they stood with awe. Mouths open widely, shivering bodies, and uncomfortable postures.
"Who are you?" queries, the man who aimed for my chest. His hair is stylish gray, and his complexion is fair. I can say by his looks he is a bit older than me by either one or two years. He also wears one of those laser glasses which does not literally shoot out lasers of some sort.
"You're friend mocked my work. I was working peacefully. I had no intention to hurt him but he forced me too."
"Wrong answer. My question was, who are you?"
"I'd rather keep my identity a secr- never mind, you're a stealth agent." I wear a surprised expression after observing his badge which contains the badge of the stealth category.
"Indeed I am. Again, wrong answer." He starts to walk closer to me. Meanwhile, the public watched, both frightened and scared of the man about to approach me. I find nothing scary about him.
"You're a stealth agent, you should know how to identify one's name by the looks."
"Do you think that's how things work? We watch people and guess their names? Heh, you clearly have no idea who we stealth agents are."
"I had a friend once, he belonged to the stealth category. You and him have a lot of similarities."
From a single argument comes another one, a much heated argument. The tension arises quickly. Both of us clenched our fists tightly while the public thought a brawl was about to commence.
"Whoever this friend of yours is, I do not know him. The stealth category is superior amongst all." he walks closer, tapping the button of his extra ball-pen tightly.
"Well, I believe you're being arrogant. All categories play an important role in a mission. The thing is, that concept is disregarded in this branch. Oh right. You should be ashamed for hitting me with a ball-pen."
"You hit Copper first."
"He insulted my work. I gave him the chance to apologize but was a coward to say a single word."
"Sigh. I am Vizion Marcel, one of the greatest stealth agents and elite operative of Team Rocket. Your actions towards my friend is unjust and unequal compared to what he has done to you. I am here to bring justice to him.
I will give you two options. First, you could apologize to him and he will apologize next. In that way, things are settled. Second, you can fight for your justice as well. In that way, I can prove how powerful we stealth agents are. The choice is yours." he bargains. Realizing his name is Vizion, I now understand why the people were shocked to see him.
"I will take option one, but he apologizes first before me."
"Fair enough. Copper, go ahead and apologize."
"Me?! No way." Copper acts like a brat, disagreeing with the deal.
"Sigh, why do you end up in trouble all the time? Fine, I will apologize for you if what your trying to avoid is being embarrassed in front of everyone. On behalf of my friend, I apologize for his actions and for throwing a pen to gather your attention."
"Wait? What. No way. I do not permit this. She should be the first one to apologize first." Copper enrages, interrupting Vizion's words. In response, Vizion sighs. I've noticed he is more of the serious type of person who acts like professionals but at least Xavier seems worse. He'd literally yell at me like what he did back in my first mission. Out of nowhere, Copper throws his ball-pen at me. An example of a man who needs to undergo anger management.
I quickly grab a book from the shelf and used it as a shield to block the ball-pen from piercing me. I then throw the book at them wherein Vizion was able to catch it. He then placed it on the shelf located on their left. As for Melchior, he found a new form of entertainment and that is the argument between me and Copper who has dragged his famous friend into this.
Out of nowhere, he presses a button from his cane, switching the music all of a sudden. From a classical library music to Vivaldi Storm, this was the start of a fight. The other readers were mere spectators, including Melchior. None of them were willing to quell the fighting.
"Alright, that's enough." Melchior shuts the music all of a sudden. He arose from his chair and walked to the three of us to quench the argument. And here I thought the purpose of the music was to intensify things a bit before the fight between us reaches the crescendo.
"What? You literally thought I was going to let the three of you fight by playing a classical masterpiece? No, I would not risk the peace of the library to be disrupted. I am the librarian, and the three of you had been warned." he scolds strictly.
In disappointment, the three of us sigh and say, "Yes, sir Melchior."
"Heh, not bad for a combat agent. And as for your friend who appears to be dead Luna Evergreen, you are right, we have many similarities but there is one thing that stands out between us." Vizion gladly compliments, shaking my hand and I was in confusion. Previously he was arrogant and all, but that quickly changed.
"So you do know me?"
"Like what you said, we are stealth agents. Xavier has told me a lot about you. I wanted to confirm if you were Luna Evergreen by putting my psychology skills to the test. When I said, "We stealth agents are superior to other categories" I was saying what Xavier believed in. As stealth agents, we are great in observation, and based on your eyes, you were shocked after hearing those words. You recalled him, and thus that is when I realized you were his friend.
Me? I am certainly against his words but I've heard Xavier had changed. Anyway, Luna Evergreen. It was nice to meet you." He explains, clarifying things.
"I- I understand." I stuttered. I didn't know why, but while he was shaking my hands, my eyes locked into him and I could not take them off.
He also told his friend Copper, "Good grief. You're going to end up in jail if you're going to persist with these kinds of actions of yours. Sigh, how many times do I have to remind you? Anyway, let us go."
From there, the three of us parted ways. If I sat back to my seat, the two of them went deeper to the library, somehow searching for a book to read or an article. At the end of the day, I was able to meet the popular Vizion. While drawing, I observed the crowd of grunts and agents who begged for an autograph. Once the dusk arrived, my artistry was finished, and I was dearly proud of it.
