Nothing much happened over the past week. Wake up, eat, sleep, and repeat. There are no missions so far nor did the professor detect any clues or hints about the location of the mirage of fire. During the week, I felt bored, and I was earnest to go back in missions again.
It is tiring to walk around halls, battling all over again, and repeating the same routine. Lucky for Virgo she bought a stack of novels in Cianwood last week so I'd say, she was pretty entertained for the whole week. If you were to ask me, the only thing I find entertaining is to groom my Pokemon. To be honest, I'm tired of the internet and my phone is starting to hurt my eyes, so I've figured that a week without using my Rotom-phone will serve as a rest once in a while.
When it comes to battling, pretty much nothing happened. No evolution took place, nor did any of our Pokemon learned new moves. I've trained with Cliff as well, or in my case, I begged him to train with me because I wanted to become more profound and excellent when it comes to battling trainers such as Silver and Ethan. Those trainers are really sincere and persevere.
Misdreavus, is getting used to being a worker of Team Rocket. She is mischievous at times, like yesterday wherein she hid my brush and the other day when she possessed Absol because of boredom. She got used to battling as well, her skills quite improved over the week.
She has learned the basic fundamentals of Pokemon battling which are: (a) knowing how to dodge automatically without the instruction of a trainer or owner. (b) Having a high stat when it comes to speed, attack, and defense. (c) Learning how to obey instructions and avoiding the Pokemon to reject the its owner's commandments.
Most Pokemon, according to what I've heard, tend to disobey their trainer's commands and I do not want that to happen with me and Misdreavus. I want to grow closer with her, and have a strong bond. I want her to fully have trust and faith in me as I have for her.
According to Cliff, a Pokemon who trusts its owner is most likely to obey no matter what the situation is, even if the Pokemon is more clever than the owner. It becomes loyal, trustworthy, and the best amongst all, diligent.
For Virgo, her Pokemon have improved as well. An example of this is her Flaaffy which has excelled in speed and attack over defense. Her Slowking has become one of a kind, very intelligent just like what it stated in the Pokedex. I have many things to compliment about Virgo, and that is her strategies. We've battled once again, and this time she won, not once but twice!
Appetite, I've discovered Misdreavous has an appetite for sweet food. Aside from this, she is very choosy. All she loves are sweet apples and when it comes to protein and vegetables, she's more likely to reject those kinds of meals. Currently, this is what I'm struggling on. To train Misdreavus to eat protein and vegetables in order for her body to flourish.
There were also times when I stayed inside the bathroom for hours or minutes, still crying for Charlotte's loss. I just… Sigh, I just can't forget her. I want her to be with me at this very moment, but I know it is impossible for that to happen. There are times when my tears were abundant, and some were a short drizzle. I usually cry in the bathroom because I do not want anyone to see me crying.
Anyway, back to the present. I wake up the usual time I wake up, which is at around ten in the morning. To my surprise I was met with a notification on my Rotom-Phone. It is an email from the executives so I've decided to alert my friend about this. I wake her up, rocking her bed harshly.
"What is it?" Virgo questions in a sleepy voice.
"Wake up! We have another mission from the executives." I reply, still continuing to rock her bed.
"A mission? Finally. What is it all about?"
"I don't know, but they're asking us to proceed immediately to Room-HQ. Come on, we have to hurry."
After the conversation we immediately dressed up with our Rocket outfits. A part of me is wondering why they'd call us right now and what kind of mission is to given to us? The texts in the email seem to be a bit rushed, as if the executives were writing this in a hurried manner. It does not seem to be proofread since I've noticed some spelling mistakes. This raises my interest and curiosity, what could've happened this time?
On Room-HQ, the two of us are met with the executives, somehow throwing opinions at each other. The room is dark again, and only their silhouettes are present in the tall mirror pillars. The professor on the other hand is nowhere to be found within the walls of the room.
"Executives?" I gather their attention, also wondering why Petrel is absent.
"Luna, Virgo. Luckily you've came here quickly. As you have noticed, Petrel is missing." Ariana replies.
"Petrel? Did something go wrong?" The two of us question.
"There was an intervention in our secret base beside the Lake of Rage. It has been attacked by no other than the infamous, Elite and now champion, Dragon Master Lance. We've decided to call you in order to help out the squadron we've sent as a response to the sudden attack. Petrel is in the Lake of Rage, and he definitely stands no chance against the dragon master." Proton further explains.
Hearing their words makes me anxious. I remember the battle I once had with Lance and it was devastating indeed. Another thing, me and Virgo are worried for Petrel. The executives are right, he does not stand a chance against the dragon master, Lance. Now that he is the current champion of Kanto, I am aware that his skills and strategies have further improved.
"Elite Operative Luna Evergreen, and Agent Virgo, please do what you must in order to save Petrel. Bring him back safely." Archer bids.
"Leave it to us." The two of us respond in a synchronized voice, gladly accepting this mission.
Another squadron in need of help, and I am uncertain if fighting Lance would be the best option. I am still traumatized by what happened a year ago, but a part of me is also willing to battle him as a revenge for what he did to me back at Giovanni Industries. I have no clue on where this "secret base" of team Rocket is, all I know is that it is located somewhere near the Lake of Rage.
Further explanations from the executives include the latest Team Rocket experiment which is the Red Gyarados. I have a hypothesis that Lance attacked the base because of this. So basically, we hijacked a Magikarp's evolution and it worked. The only problem is that it turned red with accordance to what Ariana explained to the two of us.
