I thought hope was my last imagination for survival for who could save you when you're trapped in a cave of ice? Only the unexpected can. From the blankness of the mind, my eyes start to twitch, revealing myself inside an old cottage. This is not Agatha's cottage, however. I look to the left, seeing computers and complex wire systems, and I look to the right seeing papers and books placed atop of a table in a disorganized manner.
I look to my body cocooned in a blanket. My wounds are patched with bandages and my forehead has a damp cloth on it. This time, I thank my consciousness for returning to me peacefully and not like last time which keeps slapping me back to reality. I sense no fever nor flu, for I feel like my normal self again.
From the corner of the room, seeing me twitch my eyes, my Pokemons dashed towards me at a rapid pace. They tickle my face with their tongues, relieved to see their trainer awake once more. In response, I smile, rubbing their plethora of fur one by one.
"Oh ho! You're awake!" Out nowhere, a voice talks, surprising me. I lean my upper torso to the wall, checking for anyone nearby however I found none.
"Sorry to interrupt! I'm here!" The voice shouts, trying to gather my attention.
I tilt my head to the left, to see a cute Clefairy with a voice of a male. I was left in a shocked expression, for the last time I checked, Pokemons do not speak the language of humans. Thinking that I am inside a dream, I slap myself three times in hopes of waking up.
"Don't slap yourself, you're only hurting yourself."
"How could you talk?!" I question.
"Oh right. Pardon me, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Professor Bill-"
"A Pokemon Professor?!" I interrupt.
"Yes and no. I am a Pokemon professor but I do not belong to the body of a Pokemon. Yeah, long story short, I zapped myself inside Clefairy's body by accident. Can you please help me out? There's a test chamber over there, at the corner of the room." He pleads, begging for a favor.
"Um... ok." I agree. I stand up, remove the blanket wrapping me and carry Clefairy Bill from the ground. I'll just pretend his a Pokemon for now to avoid an awkward feeling of carrying a man inside a Pokemon's body.
"Very good! All you have to do is to press the left button of the keyboard and I'll automatically turn myself into a human." Upon placing him down inside the test tube, he bids me the instructions. I walk to his desktop only to see such a complex keyboard. He did say to press the left button, but there are thousands of buttons on the left of the keyboard.
I was about to ask him more specific details but he immediately shuts the door of the chamber, preparing to return to himself again. With everything set, I hope that what I'm about to do it right. I press the blue button on the left because it seems like an odd one and number two, blue is my favorite color. Like they say, favorite color, lucky color! Or perhaps I'm the only one saying that.
Upon pressing it, the indoors of the chamber glow with a blinding light, causing me to block my eyes with my hands. The process took about five seconds, and once finished, the door started to automatically open, dispersing a puff of smoke. The smoke settles, and what have I done... I turned the professor into a monstrosity.
"I forgot... I forgot to tell you that you should've pressed the green one." Finally, the professor comes back to his normal presence. His lab coat is filled with filth and dirt probably due to the malfunction I've caused. I smile back in response, but with embarrassed looks.
To express his deepest gratitude, he offers me a cup of tea and promises to not tell the police about my location. He also explains he's the person who saved me from death back in Icefall Cave after seeing me. I am currently still in Island Four, inside Bill's so-called alternative house after the incident back in the north of Cerulean City. It appears that this is not his first time to turn into a Clefairy.
Sipping the cup of tea given to me, I remember the reason why I'm here. I look to my bag and ransacked it. Luckily, the first piece is still with me. I remember Ebony Stone whom I hate the most. I promise to claim my vengeance one day.
From my tea time with Bill and my Pokemons, my Rotom-Phone begins to ring. I check it, wondering why Virgo would suddenly call me, unless she has heard about what happened to me back in the cave.
"Luna! It's an emergency, please return immediately." Virgo begs.
"What happened?!" I beam in a shocked expression, suddenly standing up from the chair.
"I'll tell you when you get here, just please, we need you right now," Virgo responds in a somewhat worried voice. She then declines the call.
This is another rising urgent matter which I must attend to. I return my Pokemons back to their Pokeballs and bid my goodbyes to the professor who saved me. Gladly, the professor lets me go, despite having the opportunity to bring me to the Pokemon Police Department. Perhaps, this will be our little secret in return for saving each other.
I return to the helicopter that is located in the east of the island. We then leave the archipelago and set ahead course towards Rocket Island. I wonder and question, what could be wrong? What could be wrong back in headquarters? I dearly worry for my friends, and I do hope another raid is not happening out of now where. I am extremely worried to the point I even asked the pilot to hurry...
