"Thank you for saving me." On our way back to the island, Virgo expressed her gratitude with warm words and pleasant smiles.
"I have not formally introduced myself yet, my name is Virgo Novelty. This is my Pokemon, Teddiursa. The both of us are the same, we're bookworms! Although, I'll be honest, we're a bit clumsy and sensitive at times, hehe." She introduces, sending out her bear-like Pokemon. Adorable, Teddiursa is. It has the looks of a stuffed bear for children. Behind her trainer is where it hides, taking small glimpses at me, Kirlia and Mawile.
"It's ok Teddiursa, she's on our side." Virgo Novelty comforts, placing her Pokemon to her lap.
"My name is Luna Evergreen, it's nice to meet you too. It's fine, I may be clumsy at times too, especially in the morning." I introduce then shake hands with her afterward.
After formally introducing each other, she grabs a book from her pocket and starts to read it. I look to her face, and she seems interested in the book she's reading, piquing my curiosity. Beside her, is Teddiursa, reading the book as well.
"What kind of book is that?" I query, moving closer to her and taking small glimpses on the book. It seems to be old due to its brown pages.
"Oh, this? My father gave it to me when I was eight. I've been wanting to read this book for a long time but as you know, I was captured by the department. I didn't want to read it back in prison because I know they'll just tear the pages just like what they've done to my magazine."
"I know, I was watching you from the vents. Seeing the officer tearing apart the thing you love is quite rude for me... Especially since I've experienced it many times." With a soft voice, I speak, remembering the exact same moment when Chloe tore my sketch pad into fragments.
"Don't worry, I'm used to it. That's why I'd prefer to stay alone, reading my books rather than playing with other children back in Pallet Town. I dearly love to read books because it gives me a sense of peace to my mind. About you?"
"Me? Drawing and Photography is my hobby, however, I am only given limited time to do my hobbies due to the plethora of missions Team Rocket has to offer. I don't usually read books, however, if I'm bored, my body is compelled to do so." I reply, chuckling softly.
"At least you read when you're bored. Anyways, the book I'm reading is about Lugia. A legend foretold by the ancestors of Johto."
"Lugia? Team Rocket's goal is to capture Lugia and Ho-oh. According to the executives, with the power of at least one of the weather mirages, we'll be able to take it down. All we need to do is to find them." Hearing my words, she responds with a chuckle.
"Find them? You can't merely find Lugia and Ho-Oh in a cave just like Mewtwo. Have you heard about the myth of Lugia?" She queries.
"No. All I know is that Lugia is a big white chicken." I tease.
"Big white chicken? Sounds more like Reshiram to me."
"Who's Reshiram?"
"It's a deity of the Unova Region, you don't need to know much since our focus is on Lugia. Anyways, here's what the legend says..." She utters, flipping the book to the first page. There, I can see a familiar illustration of Lugia in the center, surrounded by three mirages who I assume is Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
I remember! The image on the doors of the park when I introduced Jenny to the place, it is exactly the same as the image found on Virgo's book. I remember the image used to inspire me to draw before entering the park.
"Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, or lightning, lest these three titans wreak destruction upon the world in which they clash. Though the water's great guardian shall arise to quell the fighting, with a black heart, its song will fail, thus the Earth shall turn to ash. Only through the rainbow will the beast of the sea be tamed." Slowly and softly, Virgo reads the legend. Astounding it is, for both of us.
"I've heard of that myth before. Although I can't quite understand it."
"So far, out of all the books I've read, this one amazes me the most. I can't quite understand it as well since the words are too deep for me to comprehend. However, if Team Rocket wants to have Lugia, they must claim the Silver Wing."
"The Silver Wing?"
"Yes! According to legends and folklore, the silver wing is used in order to call Lugia. Legends say, Lugia will answer anyone's plead as long as they have the Silver Wing with them." Virgo explains.
"We have arrived at Rocket Island!" The Pilot interrupts. Seeing the tower, Virgo beams with exuberance, kissing her face to the window and glancing at the tower just like me when I first arrived here...
