"So, you've come to bargain my child?" I feel the tension and hear the intensity in his tone. There's a great deal of emotion behind these words he is speaking.
Behind us, are men willing to cheer for their organization! Men behind me cheered for Team Rocket, while the men behind Morduk cheered for the Pokemon Government Council.
"Don't call me your child," I utter with an intense tone.
"What will your mother think of you. A murderer who killed her own sister? You should've spared Morgan if you want your pitiful organization to live longer. Now? I will crumble it down to the depths of the city with the Mewtwo Database on my grasp!" Morduk yells with a ferocious voice.
"My mother is the headmaster. You are not my father, nor are you worthy to be one. Leave Team Rocket, or I will spare no mercy for your actions." I warn with Absol preparing to viciously rip off his bones. Behind us, the cheers got louder as I and my former father walked closer to each other in a subtle pace.
"You're a coward. Morgan wouldn't die if you didn't abandon her. You don't deserve to be a father. You abandoned me, for what cause? If your answer is worthy, then I will spare you. Dare to lie, and you will meet the same faith as your daughter."
"Fine! If you want to know the truth then I'll tell you. We abandoned you because you will only serve as a hurdle against the Pokemon Government Council. You're nothing compared to Morgan, and your Dysphemia will always remain inside of you.
Do you think that microchip will keep you safe forever? No matter what, you'll always be the same. No dream... No... ambition, and no determination." Morduk mocks gravely. His words pierced my heart for the last time, raising my aggression above its own limits.
"So mother is right. You're nothing but a fool. You leave me for the sake of my burden and yet weeks ago you ask me to join the council? I will show you what I've felt throughout these years. You will know how deep you've pierced my heart.
Absol! Sword dance!" The battle begins, and I start off with a booster. The men behind us cheered like a choir, each lifting the spirits of their organization. Due to the vibrations coming from their mouth, the bridge starts to shake.
"So that's the Pokemon you've stolen from Viridian Forest. I don't give a freak about it, come out Drapion, deploy!" Without wasting another second, Morduk tosses out a scorpion-like Pokemon.
Drapion is a large, purple, scorpion-like Pokémon. Its eyes are a pointed shape, with blue-colored upper portions. Drapion has two small, pointed protrusions between its eyes, and one on the back on its head. Drapion also has protrusions on its jaws, two on the upper and three on the lower, with large, fang-like, white-colored features extending from its mouth. Its body is composed of many violet-to-lavender body segments which ends with a tail with two stingers. Drapion has four segmented legs with pointed toes. Its most distinguishing feature is its huge claws. It can turn its head 180 degrees.
"Drapion, use Pin Missile!"
"Absol, dodge the attack then use Bite!"
Throughout the bridge, Drapion starts to send off pins which broke most of the glass in the sides. Lucky for me, Absol has an extreme speed. She dodges the missiles and bit Drapion's tail.
"Shake Absol off!"
"Quick Absol! Now use Shadow Claw on Drapion's face!" From the sky after being thrown off, Absol controls its momentum then lands on Drapion's face. With full strength, she slashed Drapion's looks. Primarily the head.
Due to this, Drapion responds by shaking its body causing the whole bridge to tremble. For a moment, I lost balance over my feet.
Things start to worsen when Drapion's tail bashes to the sides of the bridge. It caused the glass to collapse, leaving an opening. Me and Morduk stare down at the horizon, if one of our Pokemons falls off, then its game over.
"Drapion, now use Cross-Poison!"
"Drapion, now dash towards Absol and use Cross Chop!"
The bridge trembles once more due to Drapion's weight. It used cross chop on Absol, pushing it to the abyss. For a moment, I thought Absol has fallen off but I was in shock to see her two paws clinging to the surface. I exhale in relief and cheer her on.
"Drapion! Finish Absol, toss her off the bridge, and finish this match! If it fainting the Pokemon doesn't work, then I guess I'll have to kill it!" Morduk yells and commands with a very intense voice.
Drapion points its tail to Absol and prepares to knock it off. I can see fear in Absol's eyes for she doesn't want her fate to be sealed that quick.
"Absol, use Shadow Claw on the tail!" With her remaining strength, Absol pounces back to the bridge and wounded the foe's tail.
"Use Quick attack then go in front of Drapion!" Due to having a weight exceeding a hundred pounds, Drapion isn't able to keep up with Absol's fast pace.
The battle is then interrupted with a sudden glow. Absol's paw starts to glow with a violet hue. With her new move, she slashed Drapion on the face and pushed it off the bridge.
On the other hand, Drapion tries its best to resist but Absol's paw is too strong causing it to meet its fate. Of course, we all know that no one can survive a fall from a bridge built about three miles from the ground.
The cheers of Team Rocket grunts continue to strengthen, as my father glances at his dead Pokemon on the floor.
"Murderer. Not only do you slaughter men, but you slaughter Pokemons as well. You should be ashamed of yourself!" Morduk accuses me, yet wasn't he the one who planned to kick Absol off the bridge in the first place?
"You planned to kill Absol in the first place. Just like you said, if you can't faint them, then kill them. Now, leave the tower before I inflict damage to your skin. Absol has learned Throat Chop, and perhaps you can be her second target." I counter his statements. Absol then stands beside me, awaiting my commands.
"I won't leave until vengeance is claimed."
"Suit yourself, I've warned you, but you didn't listen." I crack my knuckle, it serves as a signal for Absol to attack. Without another moment to spare, Absol dashes towards Morduk and pinned him down.
"Last warning, leave or Absol will pierce your skin." I walk closer to him, about one meter apart, and watch him suffer Absol's power.
"Yes... yes, my child. What do you want me to do in order for you to forgive me?" Morduk then utters with a voice who yearns for sympathy. With one command, Absol stops and lets go of my former father.
"Run. Runaway, and never return." I mutter to his ear.
"Yes... yes..." Morduk starts to crawl in his feet. I then wonder if it was a sign of apology or not. "... I will leave once, my... CHILD!" From a subtle voice, he then takes a glass shard and pierced my eye, giving me a scar that runs in a vertical direction across my left eye.
After seeing this betrayal and insincere action, Absol starts to enrage with ferociousness. She then takes matters into her own hands and pushed off the general of the Pokemon Government Council. Everybody was shocked by Absol's actions for this is Morduk's last day.
After seeing their dead leader on the ground, the troops start to disperse from Absol's sights. Me? I knelt down, with my hand covering my wounded eye.
I couldn't bear the pain, so I start to cry. I clench my fists tightly and release all my stress by punching the floor. I wanted to be the one to kill him, but I guess Absol can do it for me then.
Absol walks closer to me and starts to comfort me by licking my face. Her licks gave me a smile as I rub her fur while kneeling on the broken bridge.
The grunts behind me then come closer to assist me and my wounded eye. At first, I resisted for I couldn't bear the pain, but the nurse of the facility quickly arrived to aid me.
Now in my mind, I ask a lot of questions. Something is not going right inside Team Rocket. The last time I checked, this tower has one of the best securities in the whole world, meaning someone within these walls weakened our defense mechanism. For now, the traitor remains a secret, but one day, I'll find out who did this.
As for the Pokemon Government Council? Nah, I don't give a freak about them. They can disband if they want to, or they could appoint my former mother as their new leader. Now I remain eager, to meet her.
