Chapter 46 - EPISODE 46: Revelation*

The helicopter descends far from the town circulating Cinnabar Island. Perhaps three miles away from the town will give us enough cover to hide our identities from plain sight.

It is currently eight in the morning, most people are probably cooking their breakfast or perhaps some of them may still be daydreaming. Giovanni also warned us to keep out of the gym's sight. According to the boss, Blaine is a man that we don't want to mess with.

The three of us wore thick jackets despite the hot temperature. This is to avoid suspicion and skepticism. Going inside the abandoned mansion is an easy task for only a few men roamed the town during the early morning.

The abandoned house stands skeletal on the hill, a crumbled beauty of an era long past. Even her walls no longer keep her safe, no longer repel storms of rain or snow. Stripped of her splendor she lumps under gravity, dying slowly, creaking in the gusting winds.

The three entered through a window facing the azure water. The wind persisted to howl despite the sun's duty to scorch it. Many people think of the wind as air flowing with passion unto countless destinations. It has the freedom to roam either in a peaceful or perhaps a chaotic way.

The wind, however, always disagrees with the sun for the wind loves to boast its strength and galore yet fails countless of times. There are instances when the sun and the wind are in perfect harmony just like this splendid day.

With the use of a hammer, Xavier gently removes the dilapidated wood. The wood serves as a replacement for the holes which were once filled with the window's transparent beauty.

I marvel at the house's former beauty. The walls speak of its worn-out galore, hoping that its life would be restored. As human beings, we know for a fact that whatever ends cannot be restored. Renovating a worn-out house is just like putting makeup on a deceased body.

"We have one task, find all the jou-" Xavier's statement is suddenly interrupted by a cry. A cry which speaks of intolerable pain.

A Pokemon's cry catches our attention, yet we seized to focus on it. Xavier guesses that it's probably a Raticate fighting with a Growlithe. Those two are the most common Pokemons which can be found in the area anyways.

Being a young woman with asthma, I have to wear a mask for the whole mission. This is to protect me from dust entering my nostrils. I am also instructed not to run too much. This is to avoid the events which happened to me and Jenny.

Wearing a mask is uncomfortable. especially Team Rocket's improvised mask. It does smell like a sweet fragrance, but the mask is too thick for me to handle.

The three of us persists to walk despite the nerve-racking cries. My attention slowly seeps into the noise, yet I tried to stay focus on the current mission.

The three of us decides to split. We figure that it would be much faster to find the journals if we split. There are three floors, one for each of us. I will stay on the ground floor, while Xavier stays on the third. Charlotte, however, will be searching on the second floor.

It may seem risky because I am all alone, but as long as my Pokemons are with me, I will always be safe from danger. The result of trust is always an unbreakable bond.

I stroll through the first floor, searching every inch of the room. Under the worn-out chairs, above the tables, and even on closets, I ransack everything yet nothing could be found.

The noise continues to distract me. My curious mind couldn't wait to solve the mystery behind. Something must've gone wrong, something terribly wrong.

I've finally confirmed that there are no journals on the first floor. I did a detour and tried to search for the Pokemon. This task will be much easier for the sounds can indicate the Pokemon's location.

As I stroll to find the crying Pokemon. I was led to a room I haven't been before.

"Funny. I thought I've searched every inch of the first floor." I thought to myself. I could hear the noise coming from the room so I made the decision to enter.

A stroke of luck for I've found a journal inside the room. Old and dusty with a red velvet color placed on top of a worn-out table, it surely is a diamond in the middle of nowhere.

My attention shifts to the novel. My mind ignores the Pokemon's cry as I open the journal. Dust scatters throughout the air, however, my body is able to handle it thanks to the mask.

I gave a little cough, but that isn' enough to trigger my asthma. My eyes glance upon the journal's notes, and that's when I grew curious about the Mewtwo.

"September one, Mewtwo is too powerful. We have failed to curb its vicious tendencies...

It has become far too strong. It is beyond us now." I utter slowly, trying to understand every detail.

It wasn't clear to me yet since the journal's date seems to be the last out of the other seven. To sum things up, I've discovered the last journal.

This seems like a puzzle. You have to find every piece in order to find the answer you are seeking for. Things start to intensify when the pokemon's cry got brutal. Something is definitely not right, and I need to see what's going on.

"It is beyond us now..." These statements caught my attention the most. What could the author mean by that? Could this be a metaphor or perhaps something literal? There is still much to know about Mewtwo's past.
