Dreams are what makes up a person's heart and mind. May it be selfish or greedy everybody has something they've been yearning for. Some yearn for power, while some yearn for wealth. Some may yearn for success, while others reach for the stars.
Our dream is what molds our life and values. It molds us into something we're not, or even something we didn't ought to be. How we yearn for these desires and dreams is what defines who we are. It tells us how ambitious or determined one can be towards his or her desires.
For the ambitious, dreams turn into desires. Desires which corrupts the heart and mind, it is what fills one's heart with greed and pride. Little do the ambitious know that greed and pride will only lead to their agony, little do they know that they've been blinded by their desires.
Me? I don't know whether I'm ambitious or determined. Even my dreams are meant to be dreams. I'm not here to become a Pokemon Master, nor do I yearn for power. All I want is to become a typical girl with a typical life.
Let's start from the beginning shall we? My name is Luna Evergreen, a girl with crimson red eyes, pale skin, and a blue messy bun hair. I thought life would be typical for me, but that all changed since the day I was born.
Inside my body dwells an enemy, hurdling me from a normal and successful life. Dysphemia, a speech disorder characterized by stammering or stuttering. The doctors bore the news and told it to my mother and father whom I thought would love me dearly. Their perception towards me changed, and my parents disliked the news they've heard.
They knew that if the world knows about me and the burden I bear, the people's reputation towards my parents would change. People like me are treated harshly due to the burdens we bear. Those with typical lives treat us like scums, weaklings, and misfits. We're the type of people who would be bullied by both the ambitious and determined, the type of people who are effete and frail.
My parents despised me, they didn't want me to be their dearest darling. It was a cold and harsh night, the rain drizzled like water bursting forth from a dam, while both people and Pokemon seek for shelter. I was merely one day old when my parents passed their duty and obligation to raise me to the nearby orphanage in Saffron City.
Athena, the headmaster was ferocious upon my parents after knowing the reason why they wanted to leave me. She accepted me as her only child and treated me like her dearest daughter. That was the day the last day I took a glimpse of my former parents.
From that day onwards, Athena became my mother. Every night, she sang lullabies to me, every day she held me upon her arms. She fought against the kids who dare bully me and my burden. Though, no matter how many efforts Athena does to protect me, bullies never stopped. During times when Athena is busy with her work, bullies would strike and mock me.
I still felt unwanted and worthless. My sense of belongingness at the orphanage slowly faded away. From an orphan, to something I didn't ought to be, this is where my story begins...
Blast off!
