That year was especially difficult.
It was not known if it was because of the few thermonuclear weapons that Su Yang threw at the North Pole, or because Su Yang added a few points at the North Pole that affected the climate there. Or perhaps it was purely because of global warming in recent years.
In any case, the rate at which the icebergs in the North Pole were melting had increased significantly over the past two years.
This also caused for there to be more rainfall globally.
This makes it much harder for countries around the world to defend against floods.
And that was the worst year in fact.
Among all countries, China was one of the most seriously affected ones.
Starting in late June, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River suffered five consecutive rain strikes.
