Along this old, deep and lightless corridor, one might walk indefinitely...
Yet, when the mind and consciousness no longer focus on this corridor, no longer ponder just how deep it actually is, no longer hindered by the matters right before one's eyes...
A wooden door would appear along the corridor.
And behind this door lies the mayor's office.
The mayor of Derry Town doesn't need to concern himself with many matters.
He only intervenes when the town is under serious threat, a disaster has struck, a large uprising occurs, or there are serious spatial anomalies.
Typically the mayor stays in his office, perusing the scrolls that represent the various small worlds, selecting worthy demons in alignment with Derry Town's missions, and attempting to guide them to a higher position within the town.
