"Aye, Mistress...tsk tsk don't waste your time on a vegetable! I bet you have been starving yet these useless bunch hadn't even taken notice...che. Would you like a platter of vegetable stir fry made from the freshest and healthiest ingredients of all coupled with hot garlic sauce? ", the sinister newcomer stated peering over at Qiwi as if he could see him trembling with fear with a foxy grin.

Ah, this...this fox knew how to make troubles. He was aware that the said "vegetable" had a serious case of aversion to garlic whom the vegetable regarded as its enemy since the ancestral time even so the wretched fox still had to poke fun at its weakness!

Hateful! So damn hateful!

He strolled over towards Airi in a very relaxing manner. Keeping his eyes pinned onto her, flashing along with a scheming smile thereby showcasing those vampire-like canines as he kept on bad-mouthing the pitiful youngster.

Airi upon seeing a freak walking towards her with a sardonic grin felt shivers down her spine.

Now, what does this freak want from her?

Airi stood there rooted to the place with her eyes affixed onto the advancing stranger. She didn't even realize as to when the other had already reached before her. She still kept on looking ahead absent-mindedly.

A big yet pale arm stretched out towards her going for her face when another arm got hold off the advancing one ceasing its progression.

A pair of reddish-purple eyes met with the nasty golden ones and soon sparks flew marking the beginning of a full-fledged dispute!

"Scram!", a low voice full of hostility was soon heard followed by a loud crash.

*THUMP!!*

Jun Jie's eyes shone evilly as he stared far at the place where the sound emerged from.

A soul-crushing laughter was soon heard followed by the strong rush of wind charging towards Jun Jie at a fast rate causing a rise to havoc. With large chunks of clayey earth thrown upwards and muddy debris scattering everywhere, a dust storm was soon formed. A fiery red ball with a glowing tail amidst the shambles was seen approaching when within just a blink of an eye the figure stopped in front of Jun Jie tackling along with a sneaky attack at him in the process.

Jun Jie as if he could already discern the attacker's motives and had in turn gauged the impact beforehand when he very sneakily took a step back unnoticed. He was displeased with the foul act and further thought that such an imposing manner of attack was unnecessary and unappealing to his taste!

Airi: " Ooooo!"

Mio'er: " ...such arrogance!"

Qiwi: "Cool!"

Even so, he had his thoughts going on at an arrogant note, his actions spoke otherwise...

Without a fuss, quite unexpectedly, ran off like that of a scaredy-cat with the tails behind his legs, hiding behind the stunned Airi, quivering with fear!

Airi: "..."

Mio'er: "..."

Qiwi: "..."

Foxy opponent: "..."

*THWACK!*

The foxy opponent having missed the target had slipped and fallen flat to the ground his head and forelimbs twisted in weird angles!

Airi: "..."

Mio'er: "..."

(Bless him! *squinting his eyes as if feeling the pain*)

Qiwi: "..."

( Heavens to Betsy! *He deserved it! He deserved it!*)

Mio'er who laid perching onto a nearby towering citadel in an attempt to save himself from the upheaval was taken aback by the scene of action and in turn, crashed unknowingly to the ground!

He just could not help but freak out of his wits.

This kind of situation was very hard to come by in one's life for every individual prided on their self-respect and dignity especially men. But such a variety of male species was an abnormality through and through!

To say, you had stood by arrogantly sneering at your opponent but when it was the time to contest, how could you bring yourself to chicken out from the scene?

Where was your basic propriety?

If the Immortal Devil Emperor had any flaws it would be this and many more added to the lists, for his number of flaws if counted could be very well deemed uncountable!

Mio'er could only hold his head and refrain from thinking too much out of despair. But that wasn't the only problem there was also...

" Ahhh! Sa-ve me...", a man whimpering with a trembling voice spoke out while clutching onto Airi's dress shirt leaving her dumbfounded!

Now, even Qiwi wasn't enjoying the show anymore instead was left in a daze!

This time it was Airi's third assault in a row!

How many times would she be made gobsmacked without a cause?

'Are they seriously kidding me?'

'How does he want me to help when he's the one who acted all arrogantly?'

Airi could understand how messed this whole situation was but still was unable to control everything happening!

Irritated and all flustered, Airi glanced at the troublesome being who had tears leaking out from his eyes covering the face. Perplexed at the outcome she could help but pity him.

Out of the blue, Airi felt the numbing sensation back in her body followed by the same familiar pricking pain attacking her mind once again having her lose control over her five senses in the process.

Jun Jie was, fortunately, the only one to figure out the changes in her, and held her inactive frame into his arms carefully. His crocodile tears and phony performance were nowhere to be seen. He now had a serious yet concerned expression gracing his complexion.

'The foxy forelimb twisted in weird angles', too appeared concerned and rushed off to where Airi stood, receiving a side-eyed glare in the process!

" I'm here, out of concern mate, no offense!", the foxy responded with his hands raised upwards in a *trying to play cool kind of fashion*.

" Stay back!", a low voice growled out surprising the foxy man in the process. He was not prepared to hear this particular voice again, a voice that particularly crept him out!
