Couple of seconds ticked by, but Airi still stood there dazed and immobilized. Her pair of feet stuck to the place as if been smeared with glue!
Swoosh!
A figure dashed to her side from out of nowhere, grabbed hold onto one of her arms and waist whilst pulling her into his embrace shielding her from the sudden attack that almost got her killed.
Airi felt air knocked out of her from the sudden action.
Confusion clouded her eyes, her brains muddled which left her momentarily stunned.
She was able to gain understanding of this sudden outcome when there was an explosion at the very same place where she just had been standing briefly, only a few seconds ago.
Airi understood that the crisis was far more severe than she had imagined of.

Subconsciously, she grabbed hold on to her saviour tightly, her entire being trembling in panic.
She hid her face into his broad and firm chest seeking security and assurance.
Her actions might have encouraged her saviour when she felt his hold tightened around her waist. He draped his other arm around her shoulder. He cuddled her in his embrace as if holding the most precious treasure.
Airi felt her sight getting blurry out of a sudden.
Soon after, a very divergent scenery greeting her view.
Befuddled with confusion, her mind felt disordered. She wasn't able to make out this abrupt turn of events.
Peering out at her surroundings, she tried to figure out the situation.
She stiffened up at the feel of something encircling her tightly. It was warm yet firm giving her a sense of security.
She struggled to loosen up the grasp.
It might so that her rowdy movements have made the other person aware of the present situation when ' The thing ' keeping her in bound had then gradually, loosened it's hold onto her.
Airi soon realised that ' The thing ' was nothing but a pair of arms caging her!

She looked up only to find another pair of eyes staring right at her. It was the same annoying pair of purple irises from which she was hiding the whole day!

Airi stood there dazed perhaps once again attracted to those shiny purple balls.

'Eh? What was that sound?!
Airi jolted awake from her present state of trance. She realised just how closely they both stood. They were too close. If someone were to see this scenario , they would pass up for an intimate couple!

She might have forgotten that she was glaring at her saviour. If it weren't for him, cough* cough* ' embracing ' her, she would be greeting the Hell God by now!
She didn't seem to like the fact at how good it felt in his embrace!
Airi has never been this close to anyone irrespective of their gender.
No, she did love the warm embrace of her mother but that was a long time ago. Her father was definitely not the one who was needed to be considered!
