Hearing all the commotion, Shi Weiwei suddenly burst into Xuan's room. "Xuan? What....." She stopped dead when she saw Wei Jingyu.
Weiwei eyed Xuan and Jingyu, then her eyes moved to the hand Wei Jingyu ws grasping and Ying Xuan was trying to free. Weiwei shrieked and rushed forward. She broke the two apart and planted herself in between Xuan and Jingyu, facing the latter.
Wei Jingyu was surprised, "What? Weiwei?"
But Shi Weiwei shrieked, "What do you think you're doing? Leave Xuan alone. You've already hurt her enough."
Wei Jingyu frowned, "Hurt her?"
Weiwei: "We were so worried when me and Shaoyan saw Xuan like that, all covered in blood!!! It's a wonder I didn't have a..."
Ying Xuan had covered Weiwei's mouth at the last part, but it was enough.
Wei Jingyu frowned for some time while Weiwei scowled at him and said to Xuan, "What are you doing?"
When Jingyu looked up, Ying Xuan was staring at him with a worried expression. His eyes first moved to the bandage on her forehead, then to the scar on her cheek and then at the one on her throat.
Jingyu's eyes narrowed, "I did this?"
Ying Xuan hurriedly signed, 'Don't worry about it. It's nothing.'
Jingyu looked at Weiwei, "How did this happen?"
Shi Weiwei shrugged and ignored the glances Ying Xuan was throwing her. She told him the story exactly like Xuan had told them, not leaving out a single detail. As a bonus, Weiwei also added the story of the slap which Su Shaoyan had told her, resulting in the scar on Xuan's cheek.
As Weiwei finished, Wei Jingyu stood motionless for a second. He then walked around Shi Weiwei, who narrowed her eyes and watched suspiciously.
Jingyu looked at Xuan, who was watching him with a worried expression. She cringed away when Wei Jingyu raised his hand, but quickly recomposed herself. But this reaction did not go unnoticed by Jingyu, who reached out and brushed the bandage on Xuan's forehead, murmuring, "You are scared of me, aren't you?"
Ying Xuan shook her head while Shi Weiwei cut in, "Of course she is. Everytime you lose your temper, it is Xuan that ends up hurt."
Ying Xuan's eyes narrowed and she signed to Weiwei, 'Go Weiwei. He is already feeling guilty enough.'
Shi Weiwei looked worriedly at her, "Are you sure you will be fine? Won't end up with fresh wounds?"
Xuan scowled, 'Meet me in the cafeteria. If I'm not there in half an hour, you can bring a whole army to find me.'
Shi Weiwei shook her head and walked out of the room eyeing Wei Jingyu, who was still focused on Xuan's forehead.
After Weiwei was gone, Ying Xuan signed, 'Jingyu, listen to me. It's not your fault.'
Wei Jingyu scoffed, "How can this not be my fault?"
Ying Xuan: 'Well... Anyway, it's not as bad as it looks. I'll ask them to remove the bandages, they are not.....'
Ying Xuan's breath hitched and she stopped as Wei Jingyu had reached out to touch Xuan's neck with his other hand and had kissed her forehead. He then looked into Xuan's eyes, before stooping down and plant two light kisses on Xuan's neck.
Ying Xuan's whole body went numb and a shiver ran down her body. She had not been expecting this. Was Jingyu still drunk?
