On the way, Shi Weiwei asked, "Say, where are Ying Xi, Mo Feng'er, and the rest of the gang?"
Ying Xuan took out her phone, typed and gave it to Weiwei, "Apparently they went to a beauty salon to get ready."
Shi Weiwei was surprised, "They went to a salon? For an orientation ceremony? God! You guys are rich."
Ying Xuan typed again and gave her phone to Weiwei, "Our parents are rich. Not us."
Shi Weiwei asked as she gave the phone back, "Is there really any difference?"
Ying Xuan nodded her head.
Shi Weiwei: "Okay fine. I'll never get what's going on in your head anyway."
Ying Xuan chuckled as the two girls hurried towards the main hall.
The two girls were a bit late, but they were surprised to see the hall was only about half filled. Shi Weiwei looked at Ying Xuan, "Are we early? I was so sure we were going to be late."
Ying Xuan shrugged as the two took seats in the back row.
The ceremony seemed to have just started as the host has finished his introduction speech and some students had come on the stage to perform.
The group sang a beautiful song which Xuan and Weiwei really liked. Weiwei, being the usual chatterbox she was, continuously spoke during the speach of the director, which came after the song. Suddenly, a girl sitting right in front of them turned around and snapped, "Would it kill you to be quiet for a few minutes?"
Shi Weiwei was a timid girl. She immediately shut up and slouched in her seat when she heard the girl growling at her. Ying Xuan put an arm around Weiwei protectively and glared at the girl. She quickly recognised her and her expression changed from one of anger to shock. The girl was the one who had driven away those bullies back at the restaurant on Xuan's first night here. And had also given her an earful for not standing up for herself. The one with a large teeth and long hair.
Ying Xuan could tell that the girl came from a rich family by looking at her clothes. She immediately recognised the brand, it was one that Ying Xi was quite fond of. Her hair were open and fell all the way down to her waist. The girl looked like the typical princess of a rich family.
Ying Xuan, on the other hand, never really liked being the princess. She liked dressing up, but she was not fond of luxury brands. She preferred to buy local clothes and experiment with them to make new designs. Of course, she also often designed and got tailored her own clothes.
The girl looked at Ying Xuan up and down and said, "Oh, so the one who isn't even able to stand up for herself is glaring at me. Huh funny." She then turned towards Weiwei and said, "You're better off not being friends with her. Actually, you two cowards are suited together." She then turned again to Xuan and said, "Still not saying anything? Huh. Coward."
Just as the girl turned back to look at the stage, Shi Weiwei grabbed her shoulder and made her look around. She said, "You're the one making fun of a disabled person. And you dare to call Xuan a coward?"
The girl looked surprised, "Disabled? What do you mean?"
