Chapter 33 - Chapter 33- Waking up.

[ Sword Blade

level 5

common guard]

When I woke up the familiar ceiling of madam Chlea came into my eyes. The first thing which comes into my mind is I should be dead.

' You are awake, seems leveling up has indeed saved your life' said Mirage.

' Does leveling up restores my health?'

' No, it boosts bodies natural recovery ability'

I wanted to cheer for my recovery but the thought of the number of people who died in the dungeon made me a little sad. I always thought perhaps we are living in a game world, there might be some resurrection for the less fortunate, but the reality seems way too different.

I usually don't be sad if unrelated people die yet there were many who have sacrificed their lives because of my status given by Madam Chlea. I have to thank madam Chlea if not the dungeon would have been my grave.

' You should be aware your Mana circuit is in terrible condition'

'yes'

'you have destroyed your own future with your own hand'

'I had no choice'

'Would you blame it on fate?'

'No, I would blame it on my weakness'

'You would have not reached level 45, even if forcefully feeds you'

'I know, I can only blame my choice'

'its regrettable'

'regret is part of life after all'

I wanted to rest up a bit but seeing my comrades coming to my side, I had no choice but to put up a smile.

"you don't have to force yourself" said Catherine

"I won't"

"tell me what happened afterwards"

"nothing much, we got our reward: The dungeon shook uncontrollably we needed to hurry, the level up boosted our energy, we efficiently passed through the portal and madam Chleas guards were already on the outside waiting for us"

"Do you think somebody have forcefully altered the dungeon"

"Forcefully altering the dungeon requires more wealth than directly killing us, I don't think  anybody would be so crazy to kill us all"

'I won't agree to it, since she said so either she is meaning I don't need to interfere, or the matter is being settled'

"A normal dungeon usually would only need five days, the irregular dungeon took five more days, if three more days would have passed we would have missed a big opportunity"

"opportunity?"

"Rest up, we will discuss it later, and here is our apology"

"since you have no proper weapon, we thought we could give you a weapon"

"A Sword?"

"yea"

"I like it"

I laid my eyes on the long sword. I really wanted to take it out from its sheath but grogginess overtook me. I simply closed my eyes and went into a deep sleep.

It's been two hours since  I wanted to take out the sword from the sheath. At last, with the emergence of the least bit of energy, I slowly unsheathed the sword.

A 6m long sword, with leafy pattern from hilt to its tip, a feeling of refreshes felt from just touching it, if not for its sharpness I would have thought it was a decorative sword.

With a level 10 sword I could hold my ground against a level 10 being.

One of the things I need to do is swarm into a library and complete the database of my poor System.

Though the experience in the dungeon was horrible it doesn't change the fact it is the best ground to raise my level quickly. Every student in the academy has reached a minimum of level 30, even if I have the support of a pillar, it is a shame for me to be in the lowest level.

'Mirage which dungeon do you think I she best for my current level'

'Do you think I would answer'

'yes'

'...'

'Go for a dungeon where monster fight with their guts rather than their brains'

'I don't know'

'...,go find it'

Finding a lower level dungeon is easy, but to find the best dungeon requires searching, and searching on a user -friendly academy network is more easy.

I got more than known 1000 such dungeon in Ring Empire, the closest to me being-

[Dark Bark tree dungeon

level 1-10

Entry limit:50

condition: survive for three hours

reward: none

description: mutated trees waving their branches]

it is the best dungeon for honing movement skills, and sword skills, and if there is a gift it would be rude if I don't use it.

For a while there won't be annoying bugs moving around me. Having network access is the best thing in this age, even if some matters should not be known to the outside world, rumours sure do fly. I learned that Madam Chela has taken action against the second prize party, her action being so serious that not even the emperor moved when she punished the second prize with her own hands. Now she is being for her actions.

I would say she was reckless, but no matter what she did for us, there is nothing better when somebody cares for us.

I am considering whether I should go to the library or straight to the dungeon.
