Looking at the bright night light in the city of Los Viernez from the top floor of a tall company building, Haden cannot help himself from feeling exhausted. Sure, he used to work overtime, he even skip sleeping a lot too, but after hearing the news about Mr. Chavez and how he managed to steal 12 billion from the company, he started to feel tired of doing things in the same routine. He trusted Mr. Chavez that he even made him manage the company's resources but he chose to betray him. He is tired of trusting someone and later on getting betrayed.
Haden, take a sip from his wine and sat on his chair. He called his secretary through intercom and asked for the informations about Mr. Lukas B. Chavez. After a few hours of reading the informations regarding Lukas Chavez, he called out the human resource manager and all of the human resource team. "Explain." Haden said in a cold stern voice. The human resource team and their manager cannot utter a single word because of fear. "You are all fired. Get out." He said and call his secretary, "I wan't them all to be blacklisted.".
A group of security guards enter the office and guided out the employees who just got fired. After a few minutes his secretary Trina entered his office and handed a list of applicants. "President Haden, here is the list of the applicants, I sorted them out and 5 of them excelled, they all studied in a prestigious universities.". "Ask Geon to review it and send me the best applicants as soon as possible." Haden said and gestured Trina to get out. He looked at his wristwatch and stood from his chair and grab his coat.
After a short drive, Haden entered a fancy restaurant. He was assisted by the manager to the VIP room where a beautiful model like woman was seated. "Did you wait too long?" He asked. "Well yes, what's new?" She said and started eating. "I heard what happend. I know 12 billion wasn't even a piece of your money, so what's the fuss?", "Tsk, I know you know that I hate being taken advantage. Is this why you called me for Francine?" Haden asked not even eating his food.
"Too bad, but no. I just want to inform you about Lizel Hanson." she pause and smirked when she noticed Haden's reaction. "She's in London with your father and they are planning to extend their business there." she continued and take a small sip from her glass.
Haden didn't respond but suddenly sat up and called the waiter. "I'll pay." he said and left her without looking back at her. She just shook her head and started eating her food.
After a short drive Haden arrived in a modern upscale mansion. There he saw a beautiful tall woman who was seated in the couch reading a fantacy book.
"Wife..." he called. The woman looked at him but immediately averted her gaze and continued reading her book. Haden smiled and sat beside her. "I'm sorry. I am late again." he said and kissed her forehead. "There's a lot of things to take care in the company." he said and lay on his wife's lap. Her wife looked at him "I know. I heard about what happend." she closed her book and touch her husband's hair. "That's why you should take a rest and sleep." she said in a warm tone.
After taking a shower, Haden sat on the bed and watched her wife sleeping. He picked up his phone and dialed Fancine's number. "You know what to do." he said in a stern voice. "I can't accompany you for few days. You know Charlotte is pregnant. I don't want her to get curious about this." he said and ended the phone call.
