Chapter 90 - Plans

[Mother… just a little more. Endure it just a little more.]

"I'm huff fine," Yao replied through gritted teeth.

Although the pain she felt wasn't as much as when she went through the other ordeals, her face still contorted from the immense pain. 'This is better than I thought,' was the complete thought contrast to her situation.

In only three hours, Yao felt her entire muscles, bones, blood, and body changing according to the simulation Infinite Darkness made to let her body accommodate the Holy Ascension Technique. Wait, if there is a Holy Ascension Technique, there should be a similar technique that devils use!

When Yao thought of getting her hands on another powerful trump card, she smiled insidiously, licking her lips, which made her seem as if she just when through a workout with her expression and sweat due to the pain.

"Through me runs the blood of Holy and Devil that means I should be able to use their techniques…" Yao muttered, diverting her attention from the pain that she barely felt by now.

"Is my tolerance increasing? This isn't good. Although getting less pain might seem good to normal people, but it's actually bad as it dulls the senses. I should find a way to deal with this. Son, do you have any ideas?"

[I do. If your pain tolerance is increasing due to you suffering pain at gradual intervals, which let your Soul and body get used to it, then we just need to stimulate pain in both though I prefer we don't do that, what you said is accurate as it dulls the senses which might get you killed.]

"Thank you for telling me, son," she said with a smile that was as bright as a blossoming flower. Her white teeth shined with her harmonic voice creating the image of a goddess.

[And done. You worked hard today, mother!]

WHOOSH!

As soon as Infinite Darkness stopped stimulating her body, ash-colored energy close to silver came out of Yao's body in synchrony with her True Arch Energy and washed over her like a mother embracing her child.

The heat emitting out of Yao's body, the increased blood flow, and heart rate decreased and cooled down as her different energies worked on healing her body.

Yao's body stayed the same state Infinite Darkness' stimulation left it but with a complete healed form. This surprised both Yao and Infinite Darkness, who started working on finding out what happened.

[Mother, I just ran many simulations and calculations and found out that your Chaos energy's unique properties siphoned the life energy in Mana and denseness of Arch energy to heal your body. It also removed any side effects that I would have worried about!]

"What does that mean?" though she asked, Yao was smart and understood completely. "So, you wanna tell me that I got myself some instant healing power?"

[In simple words, if you want, then yes. You got yourself some healing power. Congratulations, Mother!]

Yao thanked it before going into deep thought. 'This will be helpful, but I should first find its limit before I use it in battle. It's not like anyone here is strong enough for us, even with us not being as powerful as we used to be. Why is that, though? Did we damage our Cores when we died? Or is I because we reincarnated, and our Cores simply haven't completely recovered yet?' There were too many possibilities and hypotheses in Yao's mind that she didn't know what was most likely.

While she was thinking this, the room's door opened, and Mo entered, but Yao didn't pay attention even then. Confused at what was happening, Mo neared her slowly with a mischievous smirk on his face.

Mo stealthily came behind Yao's back and held her. She struggled at the unexpected situation but then felt the hands that held her, which made her relax.

"I almost attacked you!" she complained as he laid her head on his chest, reclining on the bed.

"If you weren't so distracted, this wouldn't have happened," he retorted with a snort, taking advantage of her and cupping her small, lovely mounds.

Yao let him play as he liked while she analyzed her theories a bit more. After a while, she sighed and gave up, shaking her head.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" she questioned, not moving and letting him do as he pleased.

"Yes, very much."

"Oh, really? Then since you are so busy having fun, why don't you tell me what you talked with Hesroth about to stay for that long."

"Hmm," he hummed, his hands not stopping as a pondering expression came to his face. "Nothing much. I just told him to not care about Myzer and Hiari anymore and that Arthur is leaving soon. He also asked me some questions about the techniques and ideas I gave him so he could explain to them, and that way, no one would bother us."

"Hesroth is as considerate as ever," Yao commented. "There is something we need to get, and to do that, one of us must go." Yao changed the subject.

Mo knew what she was talking about and frowned, "Arthur is leaving. He can get it himself."

"He can't, and you know it. He might go if we request it, but he would probably die or be too scared to go there. You saw how he reacted when he mentioned it."

Getting tongue-tied, Mo went silent, only holding Yao preciously. He sighed and looked solemn, "I will go then." He decided.

"You can manage Chaos and slowly root out all the spies so when we upturn the Sect; there won't be any remnants or any trash remaining."

"Did I ever tell you how I got my moniker 'The Blood Queen'?" Yao asked out of the blue.

Mo shook his head and perked his ears up to her a story about her Second life.

"I once entered a church and slaughtered everyone in it. The reason I did that was that some trash was after me. When I slaughtered them, the church with bright, white color, was filled with the followers' blood from up and down. Since then, people named me the Bloody Queen."

Seeing that Mo's expression displayed that he liked hearing more but was confused about why she told him that, Yao smiled. It was the same cheerful and beautiful smile she always gave him, but it would look vicious and destructive to anyone else.

"I am just telling you that if they tried pulling anything with me, I would let their blood run through the Sect!"

Instead of being frightened or disgusted by her cruel words, Mo gazed at Yao with his crimson pupils that had anticipation and love. He liked every part of her, the vicious, the kind, the lovely, the cold, and especially the man-hating one. What she uttered made him happy as he would have done the same.

"Those words," Mo whispered as he slid his hand down her belly, "made me love you even more."

Yao rolled her eyes and sighed with a happy and content smile. She let him do as he pleased.
