Chapter 8 - Girl

Time skip*

---------------------------------------------------------------

One and a half month later

You can see from the distance unfeeling cold black eyes with a tint of gold and red resting upon a straight-edged nose with a Purplish white hair. Muscles seemed to be slowly appearing on his frail body. Pale skin as white as a corpse, which would make anyone assume that he was sick, was currently filled with sweat. Other than these visible signs, the thing that would genuinely show his unhuman characteristics was the small grey wings that seemed to be growing out of his back.

This is the result that Xue Mo had obtained from training in the Tyrant Heavenly Demon Mystics first three stances for a month and a half.

His previously weak body compared to a baby in fragileness had been enhanced to a child's power with healthy muscles and flexible physique as the difference.

At some unknown point in his training, Xue Mo decided to add the third stance of the Tyrant Heavenly Demon Mystics, Muscles as Tough as Gold to the mix.

Although this was taxing on Xue Mo's mental and physical attributes, he gritted his teeth and persevered. The only reason Xue Mo decided to risk getting hidden injuries to add this was that his time was limited, and he didn't want to waste time and have something unexpected occur to him that he wasn't ready to handle.

From a distance, you can see him going through the first two stances Fin Anaconda Learns to swim, and Bovine Monkey learns to hit interchangeably, but sometimes Xue Mo would also supplement another move that wasn't used before.

He would stand still while his tired and exhausted muscles contracted and untightened repeatedly, displaying how worn out they appeared.

Every several hours of intense and grueling training, Xue Mo would take some time to rest and let his body recover.

"After one and a half months, my body seemed to have a qualitative change. Not have I only shed some of the previous fragileness, but my muscles are getting used to more burdens and work. It won't be long before I could add another stance to the mix." Xue Mo said as he analyzed his body's condition.

'Although this new body of mine is fragile, the potential I can sap from it is almost limitless.' Thought Xue Mo after checking his body.

Xue Mo suddenly remembered something that he ignored before.

His body is no longer at the Divine Celestial stage, and although he modeled this new frame of his while adding some benefits such as low metabolism so he wouldn't need to eat and drink like mortals, his body was almost completely sealed, and he didn't know what wasn't locked.

"It seems that the low metabolism that I added wasn't sealed, this means that when I start cultivating, I can do it without worrying over my body." The only reason he would say something so unreasonable is because he discovered another characteristic of the Shadow Soul Pressure, it can nourish the body and supply it with energy.

Xue Mo had calculated and discovered that with his body's consumption of energy that utilizes Shadow Soul Pressure, his time on this barren moon, seems to have decreased from six months to four.

It seemed that he needs to rush his plans a little. At first, he wanted his body to be at the very least an average person's power, but he has to change them from what he noticed.

'If only my control over Shadow Soul Pressure was good enough. I could have started cultivating, maybe even enhance the raw power of every cultivation realm'. Xue Mo lamented his inability to cultivate, as that is what he loves and spent most of his time doing.

'Since my plans and schedule has already gone awry, I will check whatever that thing is and leave here.' Xue Mo thought before making his way out of the cave. His destination is the weird-looking rock he had seen a few months back.

With his still weak body, a trip that would have taken someone half an hour or so took him one and a half.

The good thing is that although it took him more time, Xue Mo noticed his body wasn't as tired as he had imagined it would be, meaning that his training wasn't without results as his stamina had significantly increased.

On the way, Xue Mo kept his vigilance high and let his senses lead him; that way, he would know if there is danger or not. This is also the reason why it took him more than an hour to reach his target.

When Xue Mo arrived, he noticed that the thing he came to see, the human-shaped rock, looked more human-like the closer he got to it.

Xue Mo suddenly had the feeling that he might find the humans that he so detests in this barren place, making him disappointed.

When he arrived at the location, Xue Mo was finally able to make out what the rock is, as expected it was a human, from what he noticed, but he quickly dispelled such thoughts as his senses reassured him that it wasn't a human. However, just like him, the creature has a human shape.

'Hmm, it doesn't seem like this creature has cultivation, so it couldn't be an Arc beast that has transformed. It might be an elf or some other human-like creature then.' Xue Mo pondered as he looked at the rock.

Xue Mo didn't touch the rock at all as he is a careful person, without further deductions he won't expose himself to danger, even with his current body state.

He inferred that this creature isn't a human because his senses allowed him to, as one of the abilities that remained after his bloodlines were sealed, Xue Mo decided to utilize it and train it at least that way, they would get stronger.

After further examinations and checks with his senses, Xue Mo didn't find anything abnormal about the rock, so he would remove the layer of powdered rock accumulated over it and allow him to see the creature.

Xue Mo had created the Shadow Soul Pressure needles that he kept training when resting his body, increasing his proficiency and speed in making them.

He retreated several steps away before launching the needles onto the hardened rock cover. Instantly the places the needles touched were devoured and disappeared. However, through all this, the needles hadn't grazed the human-shaped creature as if avoiding it.

Before long, Xue Mo was able to see the creature in front of him, who turned out to be a girl. The girl wasn't ordinary as Xue Mo saw another layer covering.

This coating was made of some energy that Xue Mo hadn't recognized, but the danger he felt from it didn't lose out to his Shadow Soul Pressure. Making a decision, Xue Mo immediately threw a needle projectile at what seemed to be an unconscious girl.
