"Good morning Ms. H. It's a beautiful morning isn't it? Did you sleep well?" The nurse smiles sweetly at her and sets down her breakfast on the table.
"I had a dream last night." The old woman stares out of the large window, watching the
birds fly past.
"Was it another nightmare? Would you like to talk about it?"
"I don't see why not." The old woman replied as nurse helped her from the bed and sat her down at the table. When she's been taken care of the nurse takes the seat across from her. She's both eggar and anxious to hear what she has to say.
"It was really more of a memory than a dream..." She says while gazing at her nurse. "I was holding something. Something small and broken in my arms. I was trying to put all the pieces back together but I was crying and the tears clouded my vision." She pauses for a long moment as her gaze shifts down the the bowl of oatmeal in front of her.
Unaware of how to respond, the nurse watches her odd behavior with anxiety. Taking the nurses silence to her advantage, the old woman continues. "I tried everything I could think of. I used glue, tape, anything that I thought would fix it. After what felt like hors of failed attempts, a small voice called out to me."
"Wh- What did it say?" The nurse was on the edge of her seat awaiting her response.
"It asked me to tell it the story of Kazmaria." The nurses face froze in fear at the name. "Tell me nurse, do I have a child?"
The nurse eyes grow wide and her breath gets caught in her throat. Her mind racing, thinking desperately if how and what to say next.

A cold sweat forms in the back of my neck as me glare at each other. We've always been pretty evenly matched when it came to fighting but I'm not sure if I can keep up with him now.
"Well, what'll it be brother?" He grins wickedly at me. "What will you possibly do now that you've got me?"
A good question. Do I even have an answer? I ponder for a moment when I suddenly get an idea. "You'll come with me, I have a gift for you." His snarls his lip at me looking like some kind of rabid dog.
"Okay."
"Damnit man, stop acting like a b- Wait...You said okay?" His glare is unwavering but I pay it no mind.
"Yeah. You wanna waste my time so badly then be my guest. I've been forced into being patient for so long so I don't mind wasting a little more." I grabs me by my neck and squeezes my throat. "But careful brother, if I'm not satisfied with your so called "gift", I'll rip your fucking throat with my teeth."
He releases his hold on me and I laugh. "There he is. My insanely psychotic brother." I put my arm around his shoulder and begin walking. "You remember that patch of land I bought? The one you practically begged me not to? Well your gift is there."
As we exit the building, he shoves my arm off of him and glares at me. "You never change do you?" I simply smile at him. "You always act like such an idiot, never taking anything seriously. It'll get you killed one day."
"Oh? You done? Because if not feel free to keep it comin'. Get it all out yer system." I cross my arms and lean against the wall. "Go ahead, I'll listen." His face holds no emotion yet he looks quite bored at the same time.
"Let's go. I want my fucking gift."
