I got up and headed toward my door and stepped on Cain as I left since he still was on the floor. I knew I could of just stepped over him but I told him to move and he didn't yet so I made sure there was force in my step and that it hurt when I walked on him to head to the tavern.
"I am really going to have to train you to be the person I want as my slave I see. I was hoping things would be good with you being just who you are but you have a lot of bad habits that I am going to have to break as well as establish new one as well that are good and positive." I said as I was leaving.
I made sure it was loud enough for everyone to hear me say that. When I turned to head up the stairs I saw Georgina giving Cain a smirk while the rest looked confused and stunned at what I said and what just happened. I had just called Cain my slave in public to the seethe. The people in the seethe were my minions and were basically my slaves that weren't enthralled but still had to obey my orders without the ability to go against them without extreme distress or punishment. But to be called a slave in front of others who were lower in the hierarchy was a huge demotion and punishment. The thought of me having to break my second in command, whom I had called my slave had them all starting to think about their actions. If I was this strict to my second in commmand what would I do with the rest of the seethe if their bad habits started to bother me. The only one that I could see giving me trouble now is Georgina herself as she doesn't have to obey Cain and seems to either hate him or she likes to stir up trouble. I will have to break that habit with her as well, might as well get started on that process right now.
I stopped my steps and spoke up, "Georgina, you are coming with me. I have some training to do with you about showing proper respect to my second in command. You might be out of his forced command but I will have you listening to him as well as showing him proper respect or I will have to teach you to fear his anger as well as my own. Now get over here this instant and follow behind me silently."
I stood there waiting for her to catch up to me. I then spoke up loud enough again for everyone to hear me.
"I did call him my slave. He has most of my abilities when I allow him access to my power. Just a thought you should all think about if you want to stir up trouble or disrespect him for being weaker then yourself in power, strength, or anything else. I am the most powerful here and if he can draw on my abilities and strength..."
I on purpose stopped there and let my voice trail off as I turned and headed up the stairs. It was dead silent and only thing I could hear was my heart beat and my steps as I walked up the stairs.
Unlocking the door I stepped into the bright hallway and had to shade my eyes as they adjusted to the light. I heard Georgina gasp as the door was opened. It was like walking out into the sun as the basement had no windows and we didnt even have any of the light on. I could see as if there were lights on in the dark so I didn't even notice the lack of the light until I opened the door.
I got a the chime of another message and glanced to see it was Alfred saying that more people had shown up and are waiting for me in the tavern and outside right now.
"Master do I have to come with you into this light? I will burn in the sunlight without your direct help again. I am not strong like you" Georgina said kind of scared.
I smiled at her and then continued to walk towards the inn's entrance. I had given my orders for her to follow me closely and be silent. Let us see if she will obey my orders or have to face my wrath. I really didn't want to have to kill her but I would if she kept up the trouble and disrespect. As I got to the door I saw that the sun had mostly set and it was safe for most vampires to travel as long as its was in the shade of the close buildings. To go from the Inn to the Tavern required you to walk through the direct sunlight still. This was the perfect thing to terrify Georgina with. To obey my orders would be to burn and be in pain until she healed or I helped her heal. But to disobey could mean death, torture or worse. Which would she decide to do? We shall find out shortly.
Looking around as I stepped just outside the Inn I saw 4 vampires in the shadow of the Inn crouching in the exact same place where I first met Cain. 3 more were in the alley next to the Tavern. It made me wonder how many more were inside the Tavern waiting for me now. I looked back to see Georgina directly behind me with her head down. She was fully at my side just like she was told to be. I walked straight out into the street, nodded at the vampires in waiting and then walked over and into the tavern. I made sure to go through the sunlight vs hiding from it.
As soon as I walked inside the tension in the tavern was through the roof as the saying goes.
