"Behave now Max, don't upset me or our Master." Cain said annoyed.
"What is going on up here?" I asked Cain. "What is Max trying to do that might upset me? Will I have to punish him for the annoyance."
"Master, He is just starting to panic about the sunlight started to show strongly and they arent safe right now." Cain replied kneeling at my feet.
"No need for worry we have our room for the next few nights secured. My dear please put some extra bedding in our room." She nodded and walked off. "Now come with me and go into the room. Also I have a policy that we never leave anyone behind. So when you two," I pointed at the 2 unnamed male vampires."Left her, Georgina behind it bothered me quite a bit."
"You aren't our Master just yet. I haven't decided to join and serve you yet." One said with malice in his voice.
I raised my left eyebrow at him and replied, "I could force that and make you serve me. I could use a doormat and a chair at a moments notice. You are lucky that I haven't demanded your immediate servitude. Instead I have paid for you to have a safe place to sleep and a nice bed."
"Master has done nothing to you other then offer you safety, a place to belong and the ability to live as close to a normal life as possible. She is offering you a place to live, a place to stay until you can get to the new home and a life. What has she asked of you in turn? I follow her orders and obey. That is NOT a bad trade off." Cain said to Max. "Hell she even saved her, Georgina from dieing when she was left behind."
"Enough of this, let us move this to a safe room instead of keeping this all here in front of everyone else that could walk into the Inn or come down the hall." I spoke up firmly.
"Yes Master" Replied Georgina.
"Max, you can either come with us to the room or try your luck outside but you will NOT stay in this Inn lobby. That I will force that upon you. So make your choice and make it NOW!" I put force in my last word and Max shivered. "Now Cain, take those that want to go to the room. I will follow later. If you have any issues you know how to get a hold of me."
'As you wish Master' was Cain's reply to me as he followed the Innkeeper girl to the room. The two male vampires followed closely behind Cain. I made a note that I needed to learn their names if they were going to belong to me. Georgina started to follow and then stopped. She looked at me and then curtsied to me before turning back around and catching up to them. Max just stood there standing and staring at me. I could tell he was going to be trouble with all of his attitude and issues with authority. I was really starting to wonder if it would be better to just kill him or throw him out into the sunlight. Maybe I am a fool though but I really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that his actions is just because of everything he has been through.
"What is your choice Max? I wont ask you again and will make the decision for you if you don't decide right this second." I stated right as the Innkeeper girl came back in the room.
"I choose to go to the room for the moment but as soon as its nightfall I am gone and won't be coming back to you." Max replied hotly at me as he turned and pouted towards the room.
I sighed and watched him go. I knew he would be coming back unfortunately. He may of said he wasn't going to come back but that felt like a lie. I don't know what told me that, but I just knew. Walking towards the room I stopped and looked at the innkeeper girl. I shrugged and nodded my head at her and then I walked down the hallway and opened up the door. As soon as I walked in the door I could tell something was wrong. Apparently it wasn't bad enough to have Cain call out to me but it still didn't seem good. I walked fully into the room and looked around.
"What is going on here?" I asked calmly.
Just then Max jumped off the top of the bunk bed and tried to attack me. I stopped him with just my arm and grabbed him by the throat. I locked his eyes with mine and he went limp. I laughed a bit at my thoughts. I thought he looked like one of those kittens that are being carried by their neck. They are always limp and unmoving. He looked just like one of those kittens right now with me holding him by the neck. I kept him off the ground and just looked at him.
"I hate you," Max said quietly. "I don't want to be owned again but I know I am already stuck with you. Please just kill me and do what I am too much of a coward to do it myself. I don't want to be a monster anymore. I am tired of being hunted and hungry. I used to be a decent businessman and had a wife and two kids. Now I am nothing and my family tries to kill me whenever I try see them."
"I will not be the one to kill you, no matter how much you try to act up. It will not cause your death. As I said before you will beg for death but will not be granted it. You don't hate me, you hate what I can give you. You lost your family and have been alone. I am offering you a place to have a new family, although now that I know you have a family I will need too visit them before we leave. I will give them an option to come with us in complete safety. When everyone gets here I plan to talk to them all and find out who has family here and give all the Terrans the chance to come with us. You will no longer be hunted, hungry or alone. I said before no one messes with my family line. We could use a man of your skills at the castle. You have a choice to keep the life you currently have or try to make a new life under my leadership. I can break this beginning of a bond if that is what you truly wish me to do but as I just heard you say, you do not like what sort of life you have. I am offereing you a better life if you so choose to have it. Also you are NOT a monster, although a terrible thing was done to you, that does not make you a monster." I said firmly in a loud enough voice to be overheard everywhere in the room.
"Hello Master, I was once called Seth by my former Master and would love to go by that name again. I have to say though that we are now what we always dreaded to be. I was taught to fear the monsters known as vampires from a young age as Terrans are a vampires food. So I do view myself as a monster. I have been lucky though as Doug here is my best friend and was turned as well as my girlfriend you just named Georgina. I don't remember what their names or mine were before we were changed though. I just know that they were with me and can remember them but names and such are lost to me. I envy Max for being able to remember his family and kids. I have no clue if I have anyone other then Doug and Georgina. You already added Georgina to you, I and Doug will like to join you as well. We will also welcome Max into our family if you allow us too. Please I hope you allow us to be together again as with our last master he kept all woman for himself and to touch them was death." Said one of the males whos name I now knew as Seth.
"Well now its great to meet you Seth and Doug" I said with a smile."Doug, Do you feel the same way as Seth?"
Seth just nodded.
"Alright then, let's get started with this then. Cain, go lock the door."
