Upon waking up Mu Yueliang's stiff joints cracked as she stood. Then while looking at her skin that was caked in a smelly, black layer of impurities she cringed in dislike only to find that she was able to feel some changes in her physique. Her whole body was bursting with strength and she could once again feel her lightning and wood abilities even though they had regressed all the way to level one. She was now also able to feel her space connected to her. Streching Mu Yueliang then dove into the river to bathe once again in order to rid herself of the terrible stench.
Once she was clean she began to search the space more clearly. The river she had just washed in was clean with non of the residue of the impurities and appeared suitable for raising fish and other aquatic animals and plants. There was also plenty of flat land that could be used for planting various things. A few of the tree's and shrubs on the mountains nearby were of the seeds that Mu Yueliang had collected in the past. This caused there to be many edible berries and fruits. There were also a few different nuts. However, after making it to the other side of the mountain there were also many different plants that she had never seen before. Finally reaching the other side of the mountain there was once again plenty of fog blocking whatever lay in front from the view of people. Continuing onward to the second of the visible mountains the stange things that Mu Yueliang discovered kept on increasing. Finally reaching the last of the mountains she saw two intertwined flowers of which a pure aura burst out atop the mountain. Going closer Mu Yueliang could feel the blazing heat and accompanying chill bursting from the scarlet red and pure ice like flowers.
Having finished the survey of the space Mu Yueliang then began to move towards the bamboo house that stood atop the small hill. Surrounding the house were lots of herbs, few of which she could recognize. Walking up the path to the house she could see the bamboo plants surrounding the house. Once Mu Yueliang made it to the door she gently turned the knob and pushed the door open. Right as she stepped inside there stood a small table with a book on top of it. Curious she steadily made her way over and grabbed the worn out book. As she opened it a burst of light suddenly shone and blinded her causing Mu Yueliang to close her eyes.
"Hello there" an aged voice sounded. "I never thought that I Qing Jiangfeng would be able to gain a successor to my knowledge" Qing Jiangfeng chuckled wearily.
"Who are you?" Mu Yueliang's slightly wavering voice sounded, "How could you appear in here?" Opening her eyes she backed away slightly. The partly transparent figure was that of an old man who was wearing ancient clothing and had long white hair, his eyes weary yet firm. Despite this he didn't seem at all weak and had an aura of blood around him that surpased that of even the few strong ability users she had seen that spent most of their days hunting. Since the first time Mu Yueliang had been in this space there was never once another person in here only the hill that was surrounded in fog and yet now there is suddenly a ghost.
"Worry not young one, " Qing Jiangfeng gently spoke "I will not harm you".
Upon understanding that he held no ill intentions Mu Yueliang calmed herself through still weary.
"How interesting," Qiang Jingfeng exclaimed sighing woefully "Having both dark lightning and wood abilities innately yet unable to grow stronger at all".
"What do you mean?" questioned Mu Yueliang.
Her wood ability was a mutated one since the beginning however her lightning one began to change over time had it not, she pondered.
"Haven't you ever wondered why it was so difficult for your abilities to grow despite them being so strong compared to others at the same level, " Qiang Jingfeng questioned "Or why you have never been able to go beyond the fog boundary surrounding this independant space. Though the outside world has changed in your memories over time their were still very few people who could truly be called experts in their abilities and many were unable to grow them well without the correct cores, thus most other people with similarly special mutated elements like yours could only suffer as their were very few cores that matched what they needed. However thankfully you bled onto the Pheonix bracelet allowing me to break some of the restrictions of this space an save you
."
"However my lighting ability was normal for a long time" chastized Mu Yueliang.
"That was only how it had appeared as you had yet to abosorb enough of the dark elements in the surrounding atmosphere, " explained Qing Jiangfeng "However this is good, had your abilities not been mixed with the dark element you would not have been able to successfully become my successor".
"What do you mean by successor? Successor to what?" questioned Mu Yueliang her brows furrowing in confusion.
"The successor to my knowledge, " said Qing Jiangfeng " After all you are the only one that has been able to contract this space. My conciousness is fading therefore once you recieve my knowledge you will be left to grow on your own but before that I will awaken the space's spirit to help and guide you".
"But why did you choose me?" Pondered Mu Yueliang.
"That is because of your affinity with the dark element. As well as your ability to grow." stated Qiang Jingfeng,"So will you accept?" he questioned.
"I accept" Mu Yueliang exclaimed.
"Very well then come foward and do not try to block what I am transferring to you. After you recieve my knowledge I will dissipate and everything will be left to you" Qing Jiangfeng claimed as he approached.
Mu Yueliang then felt a strange wave entering her before a searing pain occured in her head that caused her sight to go black. It felt like her brain was being shredded into pieces again and again as memories of a few ancient manuals and different types of medicine that she had never seen before appeared in her mind.
