*beep *beep *beep
The alarm clock sounded as Mu Yueliang's head burst in pain.
"Where am I" she exlaimed in shock. Looking around the unfamiliar brightly light room her memories came rushing forth.
"How could it be" Mu Yueliang thought as she looked around, her mind lingering in pain. She was in her room! Her own room that she hadn't seen in 10 years. Ten long years since the start of the apocalypse.
Mu Yueliang was sure she had died. The zombie Emperor she had been fighting had had 4 King tier mutated beasts under his control. Having been injured and exhausted she didn't stand a chance.
Mu Yueliang had been raised by her grandparents since her parents divorced when she was 2 years old. Since then they had never visited her even once.
A few months after she turned 20 her grandfather passed away joining her grandmother who had died 3 years prior to rest leaving behind only the house and the remainder of her tuition money for University.
Thinking up to here Mu Yueliang brushed her sadness away looking at her calender. It was June 8th. She had gone back to 2 months before the beginning of the apocalypse.
In her past life the apocalypse came like a storm. Nobody had expected it. The virus appeared quietly in the nights that the Blood Red Moon was in the sky without anyone knowing.
At first it was just fevers but as it went on without a seeming end to it people began to worry. The hospitals and supermarkets became crowded and on the 3rd day after the blood red moon people began to die.
Stealing became very common at this time with countless theories were going around about what was happening and on the 7th day of the Bloody Moon at midnight the red rain fell. People began to die in mass and many began to panic. Amongst the disorder the corpses that had recently passed began to move the world was enveloped in chaos.
In her past life Mu Yueliang had the dual abilities of lightning and wood. However at the beginning of the apocalypse she had struggled a lot. She had stayed in her house until her food had almost run out and she needed to restock. Even doing her best to eat very little the food eventually ran out. She was incredibly cautious and only brought back what she could in order to have the ability to fight if necessary.
However at that time Mu Yueliang hadn't awakened her abilities and was scratched by a zombie. When she came across a group of people they almost killed her due to her wound. Luckily she was able to escape and ran as fast as she could back to her home and passed out later finding out of her gained abilities.
After joining a few groups on the way to the base she became more and more aware of her abilities and the ways to use them. She was unknowingly used and made to fight since she was one of the few who had awakened and wasn't in an ability user group. However, this all changed when she found out about how the group of people she was in the company of were planning to drug and sell her for the chance to gain better housing at the new base as she had a rare mutant wood ability that allowed her to control wild mutated plants.
After finally having her eyes opened she escaped those who were keeping watch of her room in the dead of night and began wandering through other bases for around a year hunting low level mutated beasts and killing zombies while hiding her rare wood ability before eventually settling down in A city's base. Hiding soon became even more necessary as on one of her tasks Mu Yueliang had discovered that her family heirloom had an independent space with a small hill surrounded in fog. She then became even more cautious and only brought back only what was needed hiding the surplus supplies and nucleus she collected in her space. She also planted any usable seeds she could find in her space in order survive. This had helped her a lot as the countless beast tides had caused many to starve and that as time went on her lightning ability which had mutated had become increasingly difficult to grow upon reaching a halt at level 5 making it impossible for her to keep up with the others growth rate.
On one of her tasks her temporary group was given incorrect information and attacked by multiple king tierd mutants. Knowing that they had no chance her group harmed her and left her behind in order to escape. Having been injured and soaked in her own blood she collected the nuclei from 2 of the king tierd mutants she fought and retreated to heal herself. Never had she guessed that she would be tracked by the zombie Emperor and his 2 other remaining King tierd mutants. Weakened by the recent fight she died at the hands of the zombie emperor leader and the remaining mutant beasts under his command without any chance to fight back.
Mu Yueliang had never thought of the possiblity of surviving, yet she was given a chance. Right before her death she saw her bracelet burst with light. This lead her to believe that it was her family heirloom that had saved her life. Thinking up to here Mu Yueliang immediately looked at her wrist only to find her bracelet gone. In a rush she immediately began to search the bed only to find nothing.
"Well it can't be helped" sighed Mu Yueliang in a sorrowful manner "After all grandmothers heirloom did give me a chance to come back."
Feeling icky from the sweat Mu Yueliang decided to enjoy a bath now that their was power. Sinking into the bathtub she let out a sigh. While washing she noticed a pheonix like tattoo on her wrist that had the same appearance as her bracelet.
"Could it be?" Mu Yueliang pondered as she stroked her wrist "In" she whispered.
*Gasp!!! Mu Yueliang gasped in amazement. There inside of her space was a completely transformed plot of land multiple times the size it used to be. What used to be covered in mist had expanded and now instead of just a hill there was a deep valley with a river flowing through it.
A few large mountains surrounded the valley and a bamboo house stood at the top of a small hill. Beside the house stood a small well. A forest was placed on the surrounding mountains and taking a closer look you could see a few edible berries and nuts growing in the woods.
"How incredible" Exlaimed Mu Yueliang, with the space as it was she wouldn't need to worry about food and water. Thinking this she to the well and bending over for the pail brought a sip of the water to her lips. A cool refreshing feeling passed through her throat before intense pain assaulted her. Then screaming out loud Mu Yueliang fainted.
