On the way back, Lucifer relayed to Juin what he heard in the room.
Once he was done, Juin sighed loudly. "I knew it…"
From their last conversation, Juin could tell that Princess Cecile was planning something, but never could he have thought that she was planning a coup. "She won't be able to fight back…" Juin muttered to no one in particular.
Based on what Tucker told him, as well as what he could see, King Frederic had amassed huge groups of forces, all of which would support him for their own benefits. For a princess, especially one like Cecile whose bloodline was used to dispute her rights, it would be hard for her to convince people to join her on the coup.
Even if she could somehow manage to kill Frederic… How was she going to convince people that she was fit to lead, and most importantly, how was she going to convince people to drop their prejudice toward the descendants of Atlas?
