Feeling somewhat uncomfortable by Juin's gaze, the princess asked while lightly touching her cheek, "Is there something wrong with my face?"
"No… But you seem sad and lonely…" Juin blurted out. He then gasped and quickly shook his head as he said, "I'm sorry, Your Highness! I didn't mean anything by it… It's because you said you don't know why you are telling me all these, and I-I sometimes do that as well, mentioning things to people randomly."
Scratching the back of his head nervously, he then muttered, "P-Please don't be offended by it."
Thankfully, she was not offended at all, but she still asked, "How could you tell?"
"I… I used to see those same expression staring back at myself every day…" Juin admitted with a solemn expression. Holding onto the now empty cup of tea, he said in a soft voice, "I… I was an orphan… For the longest time, I thought I was abandoned.
