"This is not a high school drama club, this is a group with a bunch of powerful creatures and powers. The only way to leave is to sacrifice something, and most of the time, it's a part of your power."
"And once you sacrificed a part of your power, you'll be significantly weakened. Joining another group will mean being on a lower rank," Patrick added with a shudder. They were already at the bottom of the Order. If they joined the other supernatural groups, they would only fare worse than now.
Juin recalled Mr. Thompson's words, that "once you joined one of the factions, you would never be able to leave without paying a heavy price for it".
