Red was furious, Jerane was interrupted and Reichel was shocked.
Red slid his hand from her shoulder to get hold of her palm. Tightly holding it he looked at her and said, "Come on"
He was going to drag her from there but before he could, Jerane said, "Why don't you mind your business?"
Red narrowed his eyes towards him, "I guess you were meddling in mine?"
He sounded tranquil but one could see rage in his eyes.
"Is that so? Then why were you standing in the middle of that crowd instead of minding your business?" Jerane responded hard.
"My wish... why do you care?" Now could not only see but also hear his rage.
Reichel was deeply getting irritated by their 'not so brotherly' talks. With each sentence their voice was getting louder and louder. Luckily it could not pierce through the music. Thanks to the musicians who were doing an amazing job immersing the people around them in dancing. Otherwise it would have been a big scene.
"Stop it" finally fed up she exploded. Both of them stopped so did the people around them and musicians. Her face talked how much vexed she was.
"It's just enough" she found it irritating to stand there and walked away to the huge balcony, straight opposite to the entrance door. Jerane angrily exited the party. Now the focus was on Red. He scowled at the musicians who knew that death was scowling at them. They immediately played a song. It was went horribly wrong, buy they tried their best. In a
sudden the people around hold on to their respective partners and continued to dance to pretend that they didn't hear or see anything.
Red made his way towards the balcony where he saw her holding on to the balusters. He went to stand near her. In low voice he said, "I'm.... "
"Sorry?" she cut in, "Why should you be sorry? I'm the one who should be sorry...for myself. I came to this stupid party...."
"Look I..... I"
"No you look, I'm not your business.....don't you dare say that again."
Seeing her face getting red, he was rather surprised. He never thought she could give this look.
"What are we actually? We have no relation. Then why did you bring me here?"
She waited for his answer.
"It's not.... ."
"Us it because I wrote some rubbish about you? "
"It's not..."
"Why did you actually bring me here?Just because you didn't have anyone to come along with you?"
She kept on releasing her anger on him, but he didn't show even a slight reaction. He gave her full freedom to shout over him.
Suddenly she felt the presence of someone else than her and Red. She looked here and there and noticed a women in a green gown with a wine glass full of wine near her dark red lips and staring at her as she wanted to kill her.
Reichel paused by the approach of the woman towards them. Red turned to see her. She extended her hand to hold his. She make a spooky smile at Red for which he didn't respond and turned towards Reichel, who stood watching her movements and nature towards Red.
'Who is she?'
"Reichel....huh? " she sounded really cold. Reichel didn't respond to it.
"Do you know whom you are shouting at?" she questioned.
Reichel remained silent.
"He's my fiance. And don't you dare talk to him like that"
'Fiance!!!!!!!!'
Red took one foot ahead, thus releasing her entangled arm from his.
"It's getting late. I'll drop you.. "
She didn't properly hear what he said because "FIANCE" was swirling all over her mind.
He took her silence as a yes. He dragged her from there through the hall and reached there where they held each others hand.
"Who was she?" she sounded.
"She's Haira...my.... "
"Fiance?"
She didn't know why she was feeling frustrated on hearing that woman's name.
"Look....I don't like her at all. It's....its just a family setup" He said.
"I don't care...okay? I don't care if she's your interest or your family setup... I just wanna get outta here....."
She didn't know why she was feeling very much frustration and anger. What she knew was that nothing good is gonna happen if she stayed there.
"I'll drop you off" he said politely.
"No thanks. I can go on my own" she didn't knew which place it was or where to go. What she said just popped out of her mouth and she didn't want to deny that.
"You won't know this place. Come along" he tried to convince her but she was really stubborn.
she stood on her words, "I'll figure out....you go and enjoy with your future wife.
Red didn't like that, he grabbed her hand which felt super hot.
"Let go" she shouted.
He let go of her hand. "It's dangerous to be here alone"
"Dangerous? Why do you care if I am in danger?"
"Don't be stubborn Reichel"
"It's my wish.....I will be if I want to"
She ran from there towards the dark street. Somewhere inside she was aware that it was an unknown place and it was not practical to be alone in that lonely street. But she was unwilling to go with him.
Minutes passed. She didn't know her way. No cars. No people. Street was fully shut down. There was dim street lights. Blinking, like in horror scenes. She could hear the humming sound of the wind. It slowly came and touched her. She trembled. It was really cold. She regretted, coming here. But there was nothing to do. She couldn't feel her skin now. It became hard to walk . Her toes where paining. Her head felt dizzy.
Suddenly she felt the coldness in her hand disappear. Something touched her hand. It was a familiar touch. But before she could turn her head she fainted. She fell into someone's arm which made the coldness vanish. She could feel that she was being carried. She slightly opened her eyes. A flawless jawline. With that she understood who that was. She didn't react but cuddled in his warmth.
