..Transylvania.., Hay Fields, October 1897
It was in the season of Fall. Not too many travelers had passed through the field at this hour. Rain had been painting a portrait for sometime now. The moon was beautiful full and bright. The stars just like the moon, lit up the night sky. It had been a long time since she had thought about leaving home. But she was merely 15 years old. A good age for her to leave home now she thought. In the middle stroke of her fine paint brush finishing up on her painting. A villager startled her, screaming and yelling "Beast! Run! it's a Beast I tell you!" The villager ran past her with their face as red as a blossom petal. Rain chuckled and laughed as she saw the supposed beast approaching her, she yelled out "Tis, merely a pig covered in mud! Have you no shame?" Rain laughed again as she picked up her painting and headed home.
As she walked through the door her mother and father were doing their usual hobbies. Father was reading a book next to the old fire place and a cigarette in the corner of his mouth. Mother was nearly done with dinner as she placed down the last roll on the table. Rain walked in put up her coat on the wooden chair and sat down after grabbing a roll. Her mother leaned over kissing her on the forehead. "So lets see it then, your painting what was it you painted this time sweetie?" Her mother asked with that beautiful smile she always gave her. Rain opened her bag and pulled out her sketch book. Opened it and showed it to her mother, while her father had put his book away and took a puff of his cigarette while he walked over to the dinner table as well.
Rains mother gasp, telling her what a wonderful painting it was. As they all sat down and ate the dinner that had been prepared only moments before Rain had entered the hut. She began to tell her mother and father about leaving home and trying to start a new life of her own. She thought she was plenty old enough now. She already had a plan worked out for herself of how to get money and a place to stay. Her mother outraged and hurt didn't want her only daughter to leave at such a young age. Rain and her mother argued for hours about her leaving, her father not able to say a word then her mother said her final words. "You are but a child, and no child of mine is going to leave out, when there are many dangers you will face alone" Her mother silenced Rain with her words of wisdom.
Knowing she would not leave her parents unknowing. Then a sudden out burst of the small village became an uproar, and Rain and her family heard many screams and noises. Rains father being the man of the house hold ran out the door grabbing his long double barrow shotgun. Rains mother terrified started to pack her things as Rain being way too curious for her own good. Went after her father. Walking out of the hut she saw many people laying dead on the ground outside their homes. Not knowing why or where to run. She screamed for her father. But no answer. Then she heard gun fire that sounded from the other side of the hut across the street. She ran to her father's aid but it was too late.
Her father was picked up by this beast and thrown to the ground like a rag doll. Rain unable to move noticed that this beast appeared to resemble a man. But she knew it was not. Thinking quickly as the beast glared at her only moments she ran as fast as she could back to the home she had left. Yelling for her mother who was no where to be seen. She ran out of the hut seeing her mother on a carriage leaving town with the rest of the villagers. Rain tried to catch up but was unable to reach them. The beast had spotted her and caught up with her within seconds. Her mother screamed for her but the force of the man looking beast knocking her down to the ground made Rain unconscious, soon after sounded a gun shot as rains eyes sight faded to black.
Her mother got away with the rest of the villagers but Rain was unknowing of it. Hours later Rain awoke to a man whipping her forehead with a cold wash cloth. The man had long brown hair that came to his shoulders, and wore nothing but garments with ragged clothing. He turned up his hat and spoke to her about being a vampire hunter and how he had saved her. Telling her she was the only survivor. Not knowing her mother had already made it safely to the other village not far from hers. The man called himself Lucian, A known vampire hunter who had been around for years on end. He had taken Rain to a refuge for her to regain her strength. Would she ever see her mother again or even know she lived on? Maybe in the near future something wonderful would happen for her. And maybe it would be something she would never forget in a hundred years.
(Chapter 1)
It was the Summer of 1904 Rain was walking home from the old oak library in Moldavia Rome. She decided to stop in an old park, the tree's stood tall old and oak. Very few people would visit the park, but it was a beautiful place to come to. Rain had moved here only two weeks ago, but she felt at home. Being the book worm she was, she had already been to the library five times and to the park twice. She had long light colored brown hair, Beautiful bluish green eyes and smooth skin the color of ivory. She was wearing a long white silk gown with lace as the trim that touched her ankles as she walked. Her hair was pulled back to keep it out of her face, as she sat down to read her book on a near by bench. *The Myths Of Old* Was the book she had read since the first day she came to Rome, She rather enjoyed the simple tales in the book, because she was very interested in these stories.
It reminded her of the ones she heard when she was a little girl. Though she had not encountered the creatures she read about in her book, she had always tried proving the myths were true. And tried to believe in them like an old fantasy story. And so as the cool breeze blew in she suddenly fell asleep on the park bench made of old oak. The clouds blew in as it looked as if there would be a spot of rain pouring down soon. As the thunder rolled she still lay sleeping unaware of what was to come. The sun started to set as the sky grew darker. She had only been asleep two hours, and the night had came as quickly as the dawn had left. The moon had risen full.
Then a tall dark and mysterious man approached her. Then he spoke "You shouldn't be sleeping at the park this late at night" He said as he took a long draw of his cigarette. "Or any night I should say" He spoke again. But she still did not wake, for she had been warn out from staying up reading in her book. He walks over and looks in her book and says "Little Rain wake up" The girl startled took a look at the mysterious man, slow to rise & rubbing her eyes while holding her book just at her chest. "How did you know my name sir?" She asked in a soft voice. "Your name is inside the book from the old oak library" He muttered as he pointed at the book. The girl moved down the bench a little and then tried to speak to the man but she was a bit terrified and not wanting to talk to strangers. "Ah, and your name would be?" She asked again.
The man took a good look at her "My name is Zero, I live not far from here and the park is no place for a young maiden at night" He said as he flicked his cigarette away. The girl not knowing what to think or even try to do grabbed her book "I was just leaving" She spoke to him with just hesitance in her voice. She then got up off the bench and started heading out of the park. The man appeared right behind her "Looks to me like you were catching some needed rest" He said as he put his hands in his trench coat pockets peering down at her. She Looked up in shock to see the man that had approached her near the bench. In a glimmering moonlight. The man was wearing a long black trench coat, dark clothes, and an old warn down hat the shade of black. That covered only the eyes on his face. Rain stared at the man unable to move from the fear of what this man was in front of her. The wind grew stronger as it blew her gown a bit thunder roared over head, a storm was coming.
Lit up like an angel her hair had fallen down in the clouded moonlight it shimmered like black silk waving in the wind. "How far do you live from here?" He asked her. Still unable to move she tried to speak. " ne..near a lake n..not far from here" She mumbled. He moved a little closer to her as he grinned. "Do I frighten you young one?" He said as he lifted his hat a little bit. Rain moved back some. "Y..yes sir what are you?" She muttered softly, as she accidentally dropped her book. In the blink of an eye he was close in front of her catching the book. Raised up looked at her and said "I am nothing but a man who walks the night, protecting those who are careless, and afraid of how they travel" Rain not able to say a word grew faint and dropped in front of the man.
Zero catches her with one arm, A quick swift movement, picks her up and while holding her in his arms he thinks to himself "All I was going to ask, was if she had an umbrella" Then it started to sprinkle, the first drop hitting her face but not waking her. So then he opens an umbrella, protecting her from getting wet. And then carries her home. As the breeze blew past him he smelled the sweet scent from her like a fresh flower that had been put directly in front of his nose. "What am I going to do with you" he thought to himself. As he carried her nearby the Library, trying to figure out where she lived. "She said it was near the lake and this is the lake so where in bloody hell is it, wait." He said as he stopped and got her scent again, then thought to himself how stupid he was for not doing it earlier. "I'll follow my nose, I feel stupid now" He chuckled as he followed the scent to her home.
(Chapter 2)
She awoke startled and in her bed not knowing how she got there. She looked around the room to see all her belongings and that her gown was wet lying towards the bottom where her feet were at the foot of the bed. She thought to herself, was it a dream? Did I really meet a man dressed in black? She had so many thoughts running through her head that it began to hurt, then said "I just need some tea that's all." She got up and realized that there was a towel around her body and just thought she had put it around herself, she walked to her door opening it slowly as if to see if anyone was there. No one in sight, she walked to her kitchen, but seen that there was a cup of hot tea waiting for her.
Then she felt someone's breath upon her neck, she turned quickly to see the man she thought was in her dreams, then suddenly fell back then the man caught her by the arm before she hit the floor. "Careful now, watch your step don't want you to be hurt now, we can't have that. How are you feeling?" He asked as he pulled her back to her feet and made sure she was balanced then seated her in the dining room chair. He walked over to get her cup of tea and she answered "Why am I in a towel? And how did you come to be in my house?" He walked back to her with her cup in hand then gave it to her, then said "Last night was not a dream I'm afraid, Last night you were sitting in the park and you had fallen asleep, I was passing by and saw you. I tried waking you at first not knowing your name then I looked in your book.
Sorry I didn't mean to be rude I was just trying to wake you" Rain stood up and walked over to Zero giving him a slight pat on the back. Then picked up her cup drinking the remaining tea that was in it. Sat it down on the table and said "I am heading upstairs to my room to change clothes, then when I get back you may finish what you were saying" She headed upstairs to her room. She had taken off the towel and started to dress herself. Mean while Zero had walked up the stairs following her. He stood at the side of the door against the wall awaiting her to step back out. Then he went ahead to finish what he had been saying earlier. "Sorry if I startle you but I just thought you ought to know I mean you no harm miss, and that if you lived far you would have needed an umbrella, because it started to poor down that is why your gown is wet and you are wrapped in a towel.
Didn't want you catching cold" Rain a bit startled. Wrapped herself up in a night gown, She walked outside the bedroom door to see him against the wall, with his arms crossed. She blushed for she had thoughts that the man saw her naked. "Umm, I am very grateful that you brought me home. However may I ask you what your name is? And how old you are?" She then pulled her hair back off her neck grinning at him kindly. As he was leaning against the wall, when Rain pulled back her hair a sudden over whelming feeling came over Zero. He did not speak a word of it but the mere thought of him being able to be close to her ran through his veins like hot boiled water.
(Chapter 3)
But his face did not turn red for his skin was pale and he didn't want to make his feelings present. He spoke "My name is Zero, My age well we can get to that later and you?" He said without moving from the wall. Rain gazed at him with his black clothes and noticed he was still wearing that ragged old hat she had remembered seeing in her so called dream. "My name is Rain and I am 19 this year. May I ask you to remove your hat in my home?" She said with a slight grin. As she approached him grabbing the hat and removing it to see his face. After removing that hat she glanced at his eyes that were a gorgeous Blue. She took a step back and handed Zero his hat. "My apologies and thank you" Taking his hat and feeling her soft finger tips. He grasped and pulled his way to place a gentle kiss upon them. She blushed and turned away her face. "Thank you sir" She said as she covered her face from embarrassment. Her neck was visibly shown as she was looking away. Which tempted him greatly. He wanted a taste but refrained from doing so.
Zero staring at her his heart began to be heavy and was beating like a war drum. Rain unaware of how Zero was feeling, and without thinking she quickly turned around placed a kiss upon his cheek in thanks to the kiss he had given her. Zero paused and without word he smiled and rose up, him standing a foot taller then her. She got a good look upon his face and saw that he had tattoos on his neck unaware of the rest that were hidden. Rain took her finger tip grazing against the tribal like tats. "Where did these come from?" She said with a curious look. "Got them in my younger years when I was wild and free" He said as his eyes seemed to search into hers as if peering into her soul. Rain blushed deeply being caught up in his gaze for a moment but looked away shyly, After doing so she walked into her bedroom again, Zero followed. She then sat down on the bed and said. "Forgive me for asking that, my curiosity gets the better of me at times" Then she brushed her hair back off her neck once more. It was getting rather hot in her room, stuffy with the storm brewing outside.
She then asked Zero to open the window. The same feeling he had before over whelmed him again. And he said "Sure not a problem" As he walked over towards the window opening it. When he walked back from the window he past by her mirror, Barely catching a glance Rain noticed there was no reflection. She was suddenly startled and jumped further back upon her bed. "Are you alright Rain?" Zero asked as he saw her jump, and a smirk met his lips. Rain moved back to the head of her bed. She took a good look at Zero and tried to speak. "WA-what are you?" She asked in hesitation. Zero looked down and chuckled. He then rose his head up and with a sudden laughter he spoke. "You have asked that question already, don't you remember? I'm not a human being like you but something more and less than what you are." Her eyes widened hearing him. She was scared to the point of running.
She couldn't remember what Zero had been talking about. Here stood a man in her home and without her knowing or remembering dressed her from wet clothing to dry. And now is telling Her he isn't human!? What was she to do? Rain then slid to the side of her bed slowly edging toward her bedroom door. "I do not remember what you speak of, but I am going to have to ask you to please leave" She said with fear running through her voice which Zero could pick up on. "Don't be afraid I'm not going to hurt you unless you provoke me too." He said and then a few seconds later lighting had brightened the room, blinding Rain just a second, then Zero was gone. Rain was searching the room frantically with her eyes with no signs of him as she was backing up to her bedroom door. She then walked to her balcony to take a peak over the railing. She saw nothing but the mere storm that had rushed in. She backed away from her balcony shutting the two doors while locking them. She looked down at her feet and saw water drops on her wooden floor.
(Chapter 4)
Rain then a little freaked out, took a few steps back bumping into something. Rain slowly turned her head and saw Zero standing behind her in the door way, her limbs grew weak as fear rushed over her, And her heart it sank as if she felt like she were under his spell. His head was bent down and his eyes closed. He did not move for what felt like hours but it only being seconds. Rain stared at his face looking for some sign. His eyes then opened, they were as black as night and the iris was the color of blood. His eyes looked as if they had a red and black ocean waving back and forth. Rain couldn't move for the fear had over whelmed her body. She then began to shiver. Goose bumps lay over her skin as she could barely breathe she thought. (What am I to do I cannot move, I feel like my body is frozen in ice) She then felt his breath upon her skin a sudden hot feeling came over her. As she gathered the strength to turn and face him. His hands clinched against her sides, she took a glance at his sudden appealing eyes. Even though they frightened her she felt she could not look away. The storm still brewing outside quite loudly, a large tree branch bust through her windows and glass flew at her as she went to turn.
Zero quickly grabbed her pulling over around his body hitting the floor sheltering her with his arms, so that she could not be harmed. Razor sharp pieces of glass and wood from the frame struck Zero in the back impaling his skin and digging deep into his flesh. He made no sound of pain only grunts it seemed his only focus was on her. He then pulled the large piece of wood from his back out, with a large amount of blood hitting the floor. Rains eyes widened as her face grew pale, Zero smiled as he then hit the floor unconscious from the loss of blood. Rain turned her face for a moment, and then turned back feeling for a pulse and finding nothing. She then gathered up the will and picked up Zero pulling him toward the bed. She then managed to get him onto the bed and ran down stairs to gather a warm wash cloth. She ran back up the stairs shutting her door behind her.
Rain grabbed the blanket pulling it down below Zero's feet, she then reached into her pocket. Pulling out a knife no bigger than her hand. She cut off his shirt, which revealed even more tattoos and tried her best to bandage his harsh wounds. An hour had passed and still no movement. She had began thinking Zero was dead, and then she pulled the cover over his head not giving it a second thought. Rain started toward the door, as she grabbed the handle she heard "I've already died once, its not going to be easy doing it again love" Stricken by fear Rain turned to face Zero's direction with a pale expression upon her. "Y-you're supposed to be dead! How can that be, you've already died once?!" She then ran over to him feeling his body, he gave her a face of a weird sort. Then she noticed he still had the awful wounds. Glancing at one another they now had an unexpected awkward silence with both not knowing what to say next.
The next morning Zero had awakened finding that Rain had fallen asleep next to him. It had appeared that she were up all night watching over him, while he slept. She had a book in one hand and a pen in the other. He thought (What could she have been writing about I wonder?) He leaned over to gaze at her book, and then she awoke. With Zero and Rain face to face she then not knowing what he was trying to look at gave him a slap. (WAP!) "OUCH!" Zero quickly leaned back and placed his hand upon his sore red swollen hand printed cheek. Rain covered her upper body screaming. "How could you! Pervert!, how dare you!" She then had a sudden blush, turning her head away from him.
Zero outraged that he had been slapped. And slightly aroused by it, Yelled back, "What were you thinking hitting me!?! You've got some nerve! It wasn't what you were thinking! I do have morals you know!" Zero then stood up and started to unwrap his bandages. Rain worried jumped out of bed and ran to the other side grabbing Zero by the hand. "You shouldn't do that, your not healed yet" Then she paused as the bandages fell on the floor and there was nothing on Zero's body. No sight of a wound anywhere. Rain felt faint as she sat back down on the bed. "Huh?! Your healed? But.. how?" She said as a single drop of sweat ran down her forehead. Zero turned and walked over to her. Then within seconds pushing her down upon the bed and holding her in place. Her eyes suddenly widen "w-wait what are you-..." She paused as Zero looked her in the eyes while getting very close to her, soul searching once more.
(Chapter 5)
Rain didn't know what to do and tried moving but could not. She then had a sudden chill run down her back. She couldn't look away "Wouldn't you like to know? Hmm, maybe you will soon enough" Zero said as he then released her with a slight grin upon his person. Rain a bit embarrassed leaned forward to say "How dare you scare me like that! I Sho-" She was interrupted by Zero grabbing her and pulling her into his arms, while placing his hands upon the back of her head holding her tightly. "Thank you, for watching over me. I would have surely perished if it had not been for you, in that state I am vulnerable, weak.. " Zero said as he let down his hands. Rain looked at him with an embarrassed expression and replied back to him. "Oh, it was nothing really! I uh-wanted to make sure you were alright" She said with a grin, Laughing nervously.
Zero smiled back and without thought leaned in to give Rain a kiss. Then there was a sudden knock at the front door down stairs. Both startled, Lips almost touching. Rain ran as quickly as she could down stairs shouting. "One moment, be right there!" She finally reached the door. When the door opened it was the mail man bringing her a package she has ordered. After receiving it, she then ran back up the stairs to her room to find it was empty. She looked around for him but could not find a soul in her home. "I wonder where he has gone to." She said to herself. She then picked up her phone and began to call a near by Window repair guy, to schedule a session for today. After getting off the phone with him, she then went down stairs to take a nice hot shower.
Rain enters her bathroom, it was wide and as big as a bedroom. She turned on the hot water in the open shower area then started to undress. She got in and took a thirty minute shower. As she got out she grabbed a deep blue towel wrapping it around her body and tucking it in the back to keep up on her. Thinking there was no one in her home now, she walked into her kitchen to make herself something to eat, and grab a drink. "Ahh, that shower was just what I needed" she said to herself as she walked up to her counter looking in her cabinets. "I think you enjoy walking around half naked more than you do dressed.
Are you one of those nudists?" Rain startled turns towards the voice noticing Zero sitting at her table. "What the?! How are you?? I thought you left??" She said as her cheeks turned red. She held onto her towel tightly as she was embarrassed. "No i simply hid from whoever was at the door. Didn't want you getting in trouble if it was your boyfriend or family." Zero said with a smirk, then stood up. "I don't see why your holding your towel, its not like I'm just going to rip it off of you, Seeming as i can see through it anyway." Zero chuckles amusing himself. It seemed like Rain's body turned completely red. "why you.." she made a face of anger and aggravation as she was embarrassed.
She walked over to him and raised her hand that was not holding onto her towel to slap him. She extended her arm to slap zero but was stopped as he was no longer in front of her. Then her towel goes flying against the floor and zero behind her laughing. "Cant slap me if your to busy covering up. Mmm nice curves.." He chuckles more menacingly. Rain turned covering herself even more red and embarrassed. "You're terrible!" She blushed running into her bathroom and shutting and locking the door. "You.. You ass, You need to leave.. leave and do..don't come back!" She leans with her back against the door. She was quivering her body still half wet from the water dripping off her hair. The temperature in the house was colder than normal as well.
Zero walks up to the door. "Oh come now, I was just having a bit of fun." Zero leaned against the wall. "If you want me to apologize then i will, but don't be mad over some fun you stick in the mud." Rain huffed still leaning against the door "Then you should apologize, you..you.. Pervert!!" She grinned a bit though she was still a bit mad, and embarrassed. Then she grabbed a seemingly short white silk night gown. And put it on, she brushed out her hair and then threw on a dark silk black robe. Then she unlocked the door and opened it stepping out to meet him face to face and crossing her arms. Zero had the overwhelming feeling again as he saw her and after a few seconds turned looking away, swallowed and got off the wall and walked up to her. "I apologize for revealing your beautiful body, But I am also not sorry for getting to see it with my own eyes." He said as he placed his fingertips against her chin, making her look up at him "But it was still funny." Zero smirked "And you're Gorgeous beyond compare"
(Chapter 6)
Rain shook her head "You can be a gentleman when you want to be" then she smiled as she looked up at him shyly. "But no more games of pulling off my towel got it?" she giggled as she walked over to her fridge pulling out deli meat, she then reached into a drawer pulling out a knife in which to cut the plastic and paper off. "Hungry? I plan on making a little something." she said as she started cutting the plastic. Zero had taken the seat he was in before the removing of the towel took place. "Why yes, I am always hungry, fast metabolism and all that, but uh I can't eat food" Zero takes another glance at her body watching her cutting the plastic away. Rain smiled and shook her head again. She then went to take the plastic off the frozen food, while still holding onto the knife ending up making a cut on the palm of her hand. "Ahh! ssss... shit.." she said to herself as she put the meat into the microwave to defrost it. Her hand began to bleed.
Then she started looking for a paper towel. Then looks to Zero with a slightly awkward yet silly expression "Can you help me?" she giggles. "I'm a bit of a clutz.." Zero jumps up and sort of rushes towards her with a flash. "Well, known you for two days and your the most accident prone person i have ever seen." Zero stares at her hand. His body shivering and his eyes widen as he sees the depth of the wound. "You're going..... to need stitches.. i think." Zero covers her hand back up and with a rag he grabbed off the counter. Rain looks up at him and smirks "I'm not that accident prone am i?" she giggles and smiles. Then she notices his body shivering "Umm, are you alright? Your not the type to faint at the sight of blood are you?" She tilts her head in a cute manner looking at his eyes.
Zero looks away and says, "Not faint but .. something else.." Zero says as he grabs rains arm pulling her to the bathroom. "H-Hey..!? what are you doing?" Zero pushes her into the bathroom slamming the door shut "Just clean it please I can't..." Then he walks to the kitchen and a pain hits his chest and he grabs the middle of his shirt and grips it tightly. "I cant feed from her, its not right, nor is it the time or place..but dammit she smells so.." he paused and his breathing increased as he bares his fangs. Rain a little confused looks at her hand and notices its just a simple cut, it was in no need of stitches "what could he possibly be wanting me to hide for?" She thought to herself. Then it hit her, he was a person without a reflection, fast healing, and he roams the night, who also can't stand the sight of blood. "is he?.." she paused.
Then she opened her door and stepped out from the bathroom clinching her wounded hand not meaning to dig her fingernails into it causing blood to drip down through her fingers. "You're meaning to hide me away because.. you're attracted to my blood. Right?" she said as she walked up to him and saw his pitiful like state as her eyes widened a bit. "Z..Zero?.. are you okay?.." she asked softly
"You.. don't know what you're saying..just stay back a moment." Zero looks away smelling the blood on her hand, the floor and her silky robe. Rain lets out a heavy sigh "Well not that I don't appreciate the concern, but why won't you look at me?" She then looks at him with such intent. "Please Rain, Just keep your distance." Zero turns toward her a little but not looking at her. The iris of his eyes start to slightly turn reddish. Rain looks at his eyes noticing the color then she takes a few steps back "You said you were not human, I remember that.." then as her eyes widened she put her wounded hand behind her. "Are you a vampire?" she said to him while trying to be calm yet her heart was racing without her being able to help it. "Your heart is racing and that means your going to lose more blood.
Which in turn makes this even harder to resist, your smell is intoxicating to me." Zero turns fully around and looks at Rain. His eyes blood red and staring directly into hers like a predator would his prey. "Yes I am a vampire, and no matter what you think I am not going to kill you but you need to get that cut looked at or patched up before things get really weird, or maybe.. really intense." His fangs started to protrude obscenely from his lips with every word that's spoken. Rain backs up till she bumps into her counter near the sink. "I..uh.. I'll wash it off.." she said in mumbling. She quickly turned trying not to think of what she just saw and turned on the water. His eyes still flashing in her mind. As she put her hand underneath the hot running water she made a face "Ssss oww!!" Then she jerked her hand away from it slinging the bloody water at Zero but not meaning to.
(Chapter 7)
She turned looking at him and noticing the blood drops on his cheek. "Oh no.. I am so so sorry! I'll clean it let me get a napkin!" then she goes to run past him to head toward her Napkins, Zero turns with great quickness and grabs her arm, Then pulling her close to him and staring into her eyes. The drops running down his cheek, as his hair covered his eyes momentarily, his fingertips wiped the blood off and he shudders placing it against his lips to taste. Silence falls into the room and not a sound was heard except to zero, who could only hear rains heart beat faster and faster with every breath she took. Rain looked up at him seeing his blood red iris's. She quivered. "Zero.. Please Le-let go.." she tried to pull her arm from him but couldn't move or look away though her body felt paralyzed with fear. her lips then started to quiver as well parting softly. her heart felt like it was going to jump out of her chest, with the silence in the room she could hear her own heart beat. Her breathing increased. Zero's mouth opens slowly revealing his fangs. As he exhales looking at her.
They were the same size as creatures in the books she read. Zero twists her arms in a manner in which for her to arch herself up and her head back revealing her neck. Her eyes widen as she gasps and cries out. Zero lowers his head a bit to hide his eyes as his hair covered them. "Don't move..." He spoke in a deep unfamiliar tone, as he leans in closer to her neck to taste her salty sweet skin, as his tongue graced it licking softly against a known vein. Rain's eyes widen as her body quivers "I can't move..what's he?..." she thought to herself. Growing still though frightened as a moaning gasp left her lips "Don't do this.. I don't know if I can handle it.." she whispers fearfully. "Don't hurt me..." she says in a soft timid voice. Then she closes her eyes to brace herself. Zero leans in to her ear gently "Wouldn't dream of it sweetheart" His voice rang out into her ear sending pleasurable chills all over her body. Once he finds the vein he starts slowly piercing her skin with his fangs, and goes deep. He doesn't slow down, doesn't stop, doesn't even hesitate. His arms wrap around her back and hold her body close to his not letting her escape, as her sweet tasting blood flowed into his mouth and he groans softly drinking her in. Her eyes widened as she cries out in pain at first but then an immense intense pleasure took over her body, leaving her almost breathless as her eyes glossed over and her lips part a moaning gasp escaped them and she couldn't think or hardly stand but he kept her up. As her knees grew weak. The only thought going through his mind was blood and making her his forever.
