While the phone was on her ear, Elle climbed upstairs, closed the door behind and stood beside the window, gazing up the stars. "Elle, can I invite you this Saturday for a dinner?" James was hopeful. "Just the two of us," he added. "Yes, sure James," Elle replied. She sat down on her chair after plugging the stereo. She played her favorite artist, Michelle Branch on a compact disc. "What kind of dinner is that?" Elle laughed. "A friendly dinner," James responded, laughing too. Elle responded with a laugh. "You know, Elle, I like talking to you," James revealed. "Why?" She asked simply. "I feel comfortable with you. I'm happy when I'm around you. It's like I have an angel beside me. The way I look at you, wow this young lady looks like an angel," James said, appreciating her. "Why angel? I don't have wings, James!" Elle laughed hysterically. "Look at the mirror now and stare at yourself there, Elle and you will know why you are an angel to me and maybe to everybody as well," James replied seriously. Elle obeyed what he told her. She stood up and glanced herself on the whole body mirror beside her big, yellow-painted closet. "So, do you agree with me now?" James asked. "Okay, okay, I agree!" Elle replied. She sat down on her queen-sized bed, her back on the white-painted wall. They talked about anything, like school, their favorite stuffs in life until, "Miss Elle, Sir Andrew is on the phone," Nanny Ann handed her the wireless home phone. "James, I have to end this call," Elle ordered. "Why, too early yet?" James asked. "Andrew is calling me on landline." Elle replied. "Oh I see! Nice talking with you, Elle. Good night!" Andrew said, almost jealous. "Good night too, James," Elle replied and ended the call.
"Hi Drew! Sorry for the wait," Elle said sweetly. "I kept on dialing your mobile digits, always busy! Who was that?" Andrew asked seriously. He was angry. "So sorry, Drew. It was James." Elle said apologetically. "Oh James! You are becoming close to him now. I'm jealous, Elle!" Andrew said in a serious tone. "Don't be, Drew. No one will take away our closeness. You know me better, Drew." Elle reassured him. "I know you very well, Elle. I trust you all the time. I just don't trust, James, just because he is our new friend. Be cautious, okay!" Andrew said. He was very protective of Elle. She told him about the dinner that James said. "Why evening?" Tell him only in the afternoon. Remember, you always have Saturday dinner with your parents?" Andrew reminded her. "Oh my gosh! I almost forgot, Drew. Okay I'll tell him by Friday to change the time. Thanks much, Drew! Lovelots!" Elle said happily. "Lovelots too, Elle!" Andrew replied. They used to say lovelots as expression of their friendship love for each other. Andrew thought of it. So, Elle agreed. "I just don't want you to hang out with him in the evening unless I'm joining you, Elle." Andrew added in a serious tone. "I'll remember everything you told me, Drew. So, why you called?" Elle asked, smiling. "I just want to talk to my bestfriend before I'll sleep." Andrew said playfully. "Always so sweet to me ever since, Drew! I'm so happy to have you in my life." Elle said. "It is a lifetime, Elle." He replied seriously. "Be early tomorrow, okay. Sleep well, Elle." Andrew said. "I'm always first to arrive than you, Drew. You know that. Sweet dreams, Drew!" Elle said. She ended the call with a big smile on her face.
