I saw through the flesh of the sickly man before me, his spine was mangled and replaced with a black eel like being. It squirmed when exposed to the outside dim light... the man wasn't asleep during this procedure, only on numbing pills and sedatives, and so he most likely heard and felt the being inside of him.
There... is no proper way to fix this as i suspected, it's species is specifically the brood pike... it is known to artificially keep its prey alive while taking up the spine by letting various parts attach themselves onto the creature... effectively mimicking the spine.
He is ... a lost cause...
Damn it.
...
I... have the responsibility to heal... not to harm, so I must cause the least amount of harm on this poor man.
- " I'm sorry but... it's not... "
" I.. see... do it, but first... what is your name? "
Name huh? I don't think... I've had one... before...maybe?
- " I don't know... I'm sorry, forgive me. "
With a loud rip, I tore the creature from the remnants of the man's back... the body fell with a thump before turning into a dust like substance, the creature squirmed in my hand before dieing shortly after...
- " Hellish... "
" So, you couldn't cure him doctor? "
The " Escort " that brought me here questioned me with something that is absolutely ridiculous considering the scenario right now.
- " Do you not see what was inside of him? Imagine that amount of flesh being taken out of your back like that... of course he couldn't of been cured. "
" Shame, it doesn't seem that you are truly up to our standards then. Because well, everyone waiting has the same thing. "
- " Well, if that's the case... I shall leave. If you wouldn't mind giving me my scrap gun back, I'll be on my way... you can keep the stuff in the sack if you want. "
" Well, we have a policy. Nobody that we capture leaves alive. "
- " Too bad then, looks like the policy is going to be broken then. "
With a loud crack, I broke my own neck and allowed it to turn 180°s around... I'm sure in saying he wasn't exactly having a fun time looking at that... even when he didn't flinch at me ripping that old man's spine out, but I guess seeing someone break his own neck and still walk is quite weird.
So, with quick movement... I guess I disarmed him to say the least, a bonesaw is really good at cutting through bone for some reason. I wonder why.
It wasn't quick like... hmm, what was it called again... never mind. There used to be something I watched for a bit, but I can't remember what it was called... something Dragon I think... or was it Dragon Something?
Anywho, time to get my scrap gun... oh, but first I should fix my neck real quick.
