"I'm confident that you can live without pain from now on Stella." Andy was so relieved that Stella hadn't hit any problems during her rehab.
Stella smiled as she continued to punch the boxing bag. She gained some weight again but this time she looked sharper. As she lost the fat in her cheeks, maker her look sharper and more defined.
Andy really wanted to know how old Stella was, he remembered he asked once and Stella just replied with 'It's rude to ask for a woman's age.' So he gave up. But he kind of needed to know her age back then to make sure she was healthy...
Now, he could roughly define her age based on her body. But he still wondered if the woman in front of him actually performed so many incredible feats as a teenager..
Stella took a last kick at the boxing bag and went to wipe her sweat. She felt better than before. Along with her metal heart, she could have ungodly stamina. But what was most important was her brain, after years of experimentation it now had a healthy body to use. She felt fresher and faster than before.
Mou watched as Stella walked toward him with a bright smile. "Come on, we don't want to keep them waiting right?" She joked, he had practically kept her to himself over this past month.
Mou chuckled, they didn't tell anyone that Stella had woken up, so they planned a secret party for her at a bar. For a day that was meant for sadness... he was going to give a great surprise.
"Okay sugar." He was beaming, he couldn't wait to see Stella flourish again.
Stella lightly blushed as she pouted. "Why do you call me sugar? It's corny." She complained, but her smile gave her away.
Mou shook his head and rubbed her hair. "Why? You are my sweetness in my life. Before you, life was colorless and dull, bow it is colorful and full of smiles. You make my life whole." Mou gave such a warm confession. It made the married man who was still in the room cough from embarrassment.
Stella then remembered there was another person in the room. She turned around with an emotionless face. "Do you wish to die?" She coldly asked, couldn't he see she was busy?
Andy stiffened and chuckled, 'Ahh, both of them want my head... The sooner they get a house together the better...'
"No Miss, just make sure you both aren't late." Andy left the two as he rushed to arrive on time.
Stella huffed with frustration. Mou sometimes felt Stella could be quite childish with her emotions. But that didn't matter to him. "Come on, we can't keep them all being depressed for long." Mou knew how badly Stella's subordinates had been doing...
Vi, Di, and Hill all worked themselves to death. While he didn't know any others, he learned from Andy that the businesses under Stella were doing better than ever, but they still missed their all important leader at certain points...
Even if Stella had picked Blair to take over her position, he wasn't a Bei. So he didn't feel he could take control. He made a promise with himself, that when another suitable Bei comes along, everything will go to them.
Of course, Stella found this out from Andy as well. It basically set in stone that she would return soon. Despite their skills. Her subordinates... Didn't have the heart to take something from her and lead what she rightfully owns.
Mou led Stella into the hallway and the secret staircase that goes directly up to the Guillard mansion. Stella was a little nervous. This would be the first time she had seen the mansion. Yet she was living inside for too long...
"Calm down sugar, my grandparents won't bite." Mou chuckled, this was like bringing her to meet his grandparents for the first time.
Stella nodded, as she tried to calm down. As Mou typed in the code to open the staircase, they both watched the secret door open, revealing an office-like room.
"This is my office inside the mansion. I'll give you a tour when we get back, we need to give a pleasant surprise to my grandparents first." Mou whispered into Stella's ear. Making her feel hot and bothered.
Mou's office was quite typical and old-fashioned. Bookshelves lined the walls. With many ancient books through the Guillard dynasty filling the space. The desk with a computer, safe, paper and various writing tools. It was a calming and studyous room.
Mou held Stella's hand out into the hallway. Which was an open room overhanging a long staircase. Stella was amazed, not only was the mansion large. But it felt homely, something the Bei mansion couldn't even lay a finger on.
Stella was blanked out as she thought about the Bei family, despite her memories certainly pointing to it being an accident. She was certain that a bomb being on a car that collided with another was no accident. If Mou couldn't find anything about the suspects, then it only meant that her dear mother sent her a gift...
"Here's a spare room you can use. Any clothing in the closet is all stuff that you used in the past, all your makeup is in the draws." Mou explained, thinking Stella might misunderstand if the mansion had youthful female clothing.
Stella shook her head with a grin, sometimes Mou overthinks things too much...
"Give me thirty minutes, it shouldn't take too long." Stella gave a smile as she went to the vanity table. As she touched makeup for the first time in what felt like years.
With Mou seeing her without makeup for so long he had become accustomed to her. It was like she cheated when she was created by god. Any woman would wish they could look like Stella with makeup on! Let alone without any...
Mou left the room and went over to his room, he had a maid cleaning his room and he opened the door with a look of surprise on the maid's face.
"Report to my grandparents that I'm leaving the house soon, they might want to be ready for a surprise." Mou coldly ordered as he went straight to his closet.
The maid scuttled to his grandparents to relay the message. Earning stunned faces from the two elders...
