The atmosphere in the car was suffocating. Mou was trying to analyze every single word and action of what Stella was doing. While Cerim, Eun, and Emily were left to be scared in the cold car.
Stella didn't care about what the atmosphere in the car was like, in fact, she just sat and leaned against the side with her eyes closed.
"Did it go well?" Mou asked, his words cut through the cold atmosphere.
Stella opened a single eye and looked forward at Mou's seat. "The evidence will be on the cameras, was there an issue?" Stella asked in a curious tone.
Mou glared at Stella. He wondered if she knew how much danger she placed herself in? But then again...
"There was, we lost sight of you so we prepared plan B." Mou replied, he wanted to know if Stella had any idea on what happened.
Stella opened her eyes and looked at Mou. "Really? But isn't Eun really good using tech?" She asked, completely surprised that it happened.
"Yeah, how annoying, I wanted to have a nap you know?" Emily moaned and pouted, she caught on to what Mou was trying to do.
Stella smiled apologetically. "Well... We got what we wanted right? Imagine the reaction of the public when they learn that Zou also tried to drug an actress and also made many 'donations' to men in the industry." Stella smiled meaningfully.
Eun sat in deep thought, it started to occur to him how dangerous Stella actually was! He was starting to be certain that she must either be part of the Bei family and escaped from them. Or she is a deep-seated enemy. Anyway... She would be better on their side.
Cerim just sighed. He was starting to get worried if his brother could ever make Stella fall in love with him. Especially since she seemed to be playing them as well...
Mou never forgot Stella's computer abilities, to be able to play a trick on an entire company Stella must have impressive computer skills. So when the cameras went out when Eun was watching... His first thought was that she had done something.
But now he doesn't think that, 'She is too smart to have done it herself. She wouldn't need to.' He started to have her figured out.
According to what he thought of Stella, she knew that Mou would be watching her and knew her computer skills and her intelligence. So why even ask them to watch the cameras in the first place?
'She was being targeted. And I was being tested.' Mou concluded, as his eyes darkened.
Stella closed her eyes once she saw the look in Mou's eyes. 'Truly an intelligent man.' She respected Mou's intelligence when it came to some situations, he managed to pick up on a small fact that she was trusting him that he was also being tested from another source...
...............
"Madam, I apologize but the plan failed." A muscular man bowed down inside a grand hall.
"Mmm, impressive. If only he was stupid like his good uncle. Ahhh, such a shame." A woman's cold voice came from the car in the hall.
The grand hall was dark and sinister. The cold and empty room often got to people who would see it for the first time... But the muscular man was only terrified of one thing in the world...
"Make sure to follow the woman beside the Guillard boy. Make sure to lure her back to where her home is." Her voice seemed lonely. But the muscular man knew his boss too well...
"I understand madam." The man responded with the utmost respect as he watched a man walk in white toward his boss.
"Winoa, we need to capture her within two months. Otherwise, we will lose all of our data." A calculative voice spoke to the woman.
The muscular man shivered when he heard that voice. It was only his madam's husband... He had heard some myths of the man being someone you can not afford to mess with.
"Campbell... How did the other experiments end up?" Winoa asked with intrigue.
"Those?" Campbell asked as he coldly smiled. "They all died. It seems only our beautiful daughter could survive the treatment." His words only made people in his presence even more scared. He was talking to his wife with an emotionless voice and saying his daughter was someone he had tested multiple experiments on...
Winoa's phoenix-like eyes sparkled. "Yeah, she went above and beyond what we expected... But." Then her eyes went dark.
"She became disobedient. What a disappointment, she could have become anything..." Winoa's blue phoenix eyes were frighteningly cold.
Campbell shook his head. "Giving her more knowledge and going for that treatment wasn't profitable, I estimate that she is close to experiencing failure in her body right now." He only seemed to care about the fact his best experiment was going to die, not his daughter...
The muscular man wanted to be dismissed now. As much as he was seen as a hard man, he could never look at the couple in their eyes. Their thoughts were completely terrifying.
"Make sure to do what I asked, I hope you understand the punishment for failure again?" Winoa moved her attention back to the muscular man.
He straightened his back and looked down on the floor. "Yes madam." The punishment for failing two missions you may ask? Well, there wasn't one. Because no one who had failed twice lived to tell the tale...
The muscular man walked off and left the cold and expansive hall. He sighed with relief when he reached outside. "Boss, what are our orders?" One of his men asked as he waited by a car outside.
The muscular man smiled. "Kev, we need to kidnap the woman by the Guillard's. Nothing can happen to her." The man responded as he heard someone walking behind him.
"Hey Derek, what is the punishment for this mission?" Derek turned to see the man he trusted most.
*Sigh* "Let's put it this way, there isn't a punishment. Mark, we need to work together more efficiently for this mission." Derek smiled in a manner that made his underling shudder.
Mark blanked for a few seconds, he then started to chuckle. "My friend, let's complete this mission then. Not for anything but our lives this time ay?" Mark walked up to Derek and patted his shoulder.
Derek was at least 6 foot 5 (196cm) while Mark was around 6 foot 3 (191cm) Both were muscular and menacing when working. But in private, both were extremely good friends.
"Of course. We want to do this within a month. Otherwise, we run out of time." Derek knew the only reason he had heard any important information about the woman he needed to capture was because it was going to be a matter of failure is death, but success will bring him riches.
"Boss, what is the name of the target?" The subordinate asked, he enjoyed seeing the good relationship between the two intimidating men, since they were so kind in private.
"Stella. Stella Bei." Derek's voice was low. But it was enough to make the wind cry out.
