"My apologies for being so impertinent Miss." Blair's voice was respectful as he knelt down.
Stella was sitting on a bed with her legs crossed. She lost the drunkenness that she showed before and now her eyes were ice cold.
"No need Blair, it's been a while. How are things going?" Stella asked in a deadpanned tone. Something which made Blair shiver.
He looked up to look into Stella's eyes. He felt like his soul was being examined and criticized from every angle...
"I spotted a few of her supporters, our men are ready to intercept them whenever." Blair reported, he blindly followed the orders he received from Stella in the morning.
He flew all the way from Country F, where the Bei family is based, to Country T on short notice. He would never question an order that Stella gave him despite her being much of her junior.
"Ah, that's good. I heard that the turtles have started to take power from you?" Stella smiled, as she flipped her hair.
Blair gulped, he knew what that smile meant... "Yes Miss, I didn't touch them and let them do as they wished. The subsidiaries split into multiple groups. Right now we only control them because of the threat of our underground forces." Blair responded.
Stella put her hand to her mouth and kept smiling. "I see... remove the pressure from the underground." Stella started to tap her chin as she thought of something interesting...
Blair was surprised. Ever since Stella managed to amass control over the underground forces she used them effectively to keep projecting her control over the many companies the Bei family are linked to.
"But Miss." Blair wanted to protest, but the emotionless look in Stella's eyes gave him second thoughts.
"Since people want to fight for control of the Bei family... Let them. How could they possibly be unable to comprehend their own power?" Stella's smile turned sinister, as her eyes stayed cold.
Blair nodded. Though he wasn't happy that his Miss was letting her control being stripped away, he knew that she needed to clean out all of the deadwood within the elders of the companies...
Stella felt her phone vibrate within her bag. She looked down and sighed. "Well... I guess that is all for now." Stella seemed disappointed as she stood up.
Blair stood up and went over to the door. Opening it, he saw the bright lights of the hallway of the hotel... But it was the other side to where the crowd went!
"Oh, and Blair?" Stella turned back to face Blair as she started to walk out.
Blair stood straight with an emotionless face. "I will be returning underground soon. Make sure to handle things well." The wind from outside seemed to have incased Blair as he heard those words.
"I understand." Blair's voice slightly trembled, he would never forget the first time he saw Stella involved in the underworld... It haunted him to this day.
Stella responded with a bright smile. "Good, I expect a present for my troubles." Stella lightly chuckled as she started to walk back to the main hall.
Blair stared where Stella walked. He followed Stella for one simple reason... Revenge, he always knew that the only way he could get revenge was to follow this terrifying woman...
"Damn..." He was silently excited but also frightened. He was excited to see his boss in this mood once again. But also frightened because his boss was going back to how she used to be like...
...............
Nio and Cerim stayed in the large hall. Both were extremely worried and constantly looking around at the hallway Mou walked. While Tracy and Florence were also getting worried about where Stella had gone.
"Cerim... I haven't gotten anything yet." Nio whispered as he reached for another drink.
Cerim nodded and scanned the hall. He saw that the reporters disguised as staff had mainly left and also a few gossiping actors and actresses. He noted that cameras used to film the premiere was being moved by some members of staff.
His eyes narrowed. "Nio... Do you know where Stella has gone?" Florence asked, bringing him out of his thoughts.
"She said she was in the toilet right? Did she drink too much?" Nio responded, using Florence and Tracy to find Stella without personally getting involved wasn't gentlemanly. But that was what Mou wanted...
"She did say that... Let's have a look." Florence invited Tracy to look for Stella.
Tracy nodded. They were both managers in the entertainment industry so they knew anything could happen at events like this... They also weren't stupid.
Cerim kept tracking where and when people walked to and from. He frowned when he noticed the strange movements from the camera staff...
"Nio, the cameras." Cerim thought they were acting strange. But now he had some evidence!
Nio looked over to the cameraman handling the camera. He moved the camera through the hall and into the main hallway... He didn't get in the guest's way and was quiet. But what didn't make sense, was the fact the cameras weren't covered in any way...
Since people were self-centered they wouldn't normally notice the cameras being moved the way they do at events. But Cerim and Nio had seen many moments like this. The fact the cameraman didn't treat his cameras well and covered them to keep them from being damaged and keeping them out of sight, only meant they would be used again.
